For A Season, composed during the first half of the 1980s, to his latest book, Conglomerati (2009). Starting from the poet’s awareness of writing from within an unprecedented environmental crisis, the analysis aims to highlight the “ecological potential” of his poetry, the novelties it presents, after Idioma, moving ever more dramatically and paradoxically between the utopiaof the garden, as a symbol of harmony, and the infernal one of the forest, to indicate the degeneration of human action and its nefarious effects on the entire planet. Thus emerges the ability of this poet to transform his texts into pedagogical “planetary gardens”, in which to cultivate resistance strategies that are given within the same ecosystem. In conclusion, the article aims to underline how, in its late phase, Zanzotto’s poetry presents itself in the form of an “environmental humanism” that involves every living form and raises the need for a different way of inhabiting the earth in the times of the Anthropocene.","PeriodicalId":35131,"journal":{"name":"Studia Romanica Posnaniensia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47388171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of the river motif demonstrates its literary potential. Furthermore, the river con- firms that the two cultures involved in postcolonial literature yield a new quality due to the acceptance and inclusion of diversity. It also affirms the writer’s autonomy from both her Somali and Italian roots. Finally, the river is established as an indispensable element for the exposition and understanding of the theme dealt by this Bildungsroman.","PeriodicalId":35131,"journal":{"name":"Studia Romanica Posnaniensia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43653413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article explores the concept of the so-called “Sicily case” in Pirandello, which has not only its own environmental and literary specificity, but also social-political context. It is closely linked to the terrifying image of Sicilian nature that corresponds to the topical motif of the locus amoenus and its complete reversal, seen in the mirror distorted by the political and social climate of the country at the time. Both psychiatrists worked to reform the asylum spaces and the therapeutic relationships within it. Their actions and their narrations were both ecological but had an opposite ending. While Tobino defended until the end the idea of a safe psychiatric environment, protected by society, considered dangerous, Franco Basaglia strongly affirmed the repressiveness of the asylum space, the need to dismantle it and return the madness to society.","PeriodicalId":35131,"journal":{"name":"Studia Romanica Posnaniensia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46926520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Commencing from the concept of ‘diversity’, as intended by Pasolini as the disappearance of the rural world, which occurs in step with the eclipses of dialectal variety, the essay will demonstrate how the environment – the crucial focus of the poetry of the above mentioned poets – converges concepts of dialects, territoriality and animality. The ecocritical method, which is applied in this study, enables one to signal the urgency to reflect upon the situation of contemporary poetry, in particular of Sicilian poetry, which has its roots in Nino De Vita’s poetic works, inextricably tied to the place, the natural and the cultural context of the island. The new Sicilian poetry does not cancel ‘diversity’, which on the contrary is capable of confronting environmental issues – at times also beyond the island’s borders – and it feeds from the lymph, from the root of the dialect.","PeriodicalId":35131,"journal":{"name":"Studia Romanica Posnaniensia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47416609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author seeks to show the Leopardian environment as a place where history, nature and the cosmos intersect. The immensity and simultaneity of these three elements determines the way the lyric subject inhabits the world. Leopardi’s poetic focus is on his painful experience of the environment, which remains an indifferent and destructive agent. The poet deconstructs classical and romantic models of nature and culture by appealing to the aesthetics of the sublime, which unlike Kant is not the means of understanding but the way to experience the planetary character of existence.","PeriodicalId":35131,"journal":{"name":"Studia Romanica Posnaniensia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48138379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose to focus on the analysis of the authorial presence in the internship reports. To this end, we analysed a corpus of L1 French students’ internship reports. The occurrences of JE, NOUS and ON allowed us to establish a list of different functions of these pronouns by observing how trainee-writers are using these three pronouns. These observations enabled us to put forward certain hypotheses concerning training of the future language teachers.","PeriodicalId":35131,"journal":{"name":"Studia Romanica Posnaniensia","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45310326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
