This research aims to explore the effectiveness of multimedia learning and its impact on student achievement. In this study, multimedia is defined as the use of a combination of elements such as text, images, audio, video, and animation in learning. The methods used in this research include literature review and analysis of relevant studies. The findings from the literature review indicate that the use of multimedia in learning offers several advantages. Firstly, multimedia can enhance visual appeal and support diverse learning styles. Secondly, multimedia can improve information retention by providing interactive and memorable learning experiences. Thirdly, multimedia can enhance understanding of complex concepts through the use of concrete examples and visualizations. However, the effectiveness of multimedia learning is influenced by various factors. One key factor is the design of the multimedia itself. Good design should consider student characteristics, learning objectives, and the content to be delivered. Furthermore, the availability of adequate technological infrastructure is also necessary to support the use of multimedia in learning.","PeriodicalId":351148,"journal":{"name":"Priviet Social Sciences Journal","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116160743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Self-care and appearance have also become important, not only for women but also for men. Many people use skin care products to keep their skin looking brighter and healthier. Caring for and beautifying yourself has become a trend. These products are easy to find and provide instant results at affordable prices. However, the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) warns that some cosmetics contain dangerous ingredients if used without a doctor's recommendation. Unscrupulous law enforcement and small fines make economic actors reluctant and afraid to distribute illegal cosmetics due to weak sanctions. The Consumer Protection Act number 8 of 1999 provides legal protection for consumers who experience losses and has a positive effect on the business world by taking action against business actors who break the law and harm society. This is expected to reduce risks for Indonesian consumers from fraudulent acts.","PeriodicalId":351148,"journal":{"name":"Priviet Social Sciences Journal","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124952944","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The background of this research is the lack of role of nurses in the process of preventing nosocomial infections. The purpose of this study was to explain the role of nurses in preventing nosocomial infections at RSU Royal Prima. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with informants so that they can clearly and in-depth know the role of nurses in preventing nosocomial infections at RSU Royal Prima. The results showed that nurses already know how to report to a doctor if there are signs and symptoms of infection and transmission of infectious diseases and protect against precautions while on duty at the hospital. However, there are still nurses who do not know optimally in terms of maintaining hospital cleanliness. In maintaining hand hygiene, nurses only know in terms of hand washing, the implementation is not in accordance with the procedure. In using Personal Protective Equipment, nurses know their role in terms of wearing masks and gloves, but in practice there are still nurses who have not used Personal Protective Equipment according to standards. In addition, there are obstacles for nurses in preventing nosocomial infections such as inadequate infrastructure.","PeriodicalId":351148,"journal":{"name":"Priviet Social Sciences Journal","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130224880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The touch part is the skin, which is the widest part of the human body, babies can feel this function from the womb. Micturition disorders occur due to impaired coordination function of the lower urinary tract including the bladder, bladder neck, valves and urethra. Urinary disorders including bed wetting with or without being followed by bowel obstructions, are disorders that are often found in children with all the consequences. Some complications due to urinary disorders are urinary tract infections, constipation and impaired healing of vesicoureteral reflux. In the process of urinating some babies will experience disturbances caused by delays in bladder maturation and development, sleep pattern disturbances, psychopathology, environmental stress, disturbances. To establish effectiveness of infants aged 3-6 months who receive massage and those who do not receive massage on the micturition patterns of infants exclusively breastfed at the Bunda Patimah Primary Clini. This research uses a type of quantitative research, namely an analytic surve. The research design used was cross- sectional. In this study, it was revealed whether there was an effect if massage was given or not to infants aged 3-6 months on micturition patterns. The chi-square test gives a value of p = 0.002 <0.05. This shows that the frequency of infant massage has an effect on urinary behavior in infants aged 3-6 months who are exclusively breastfed.","PeriodicalId":351148,"journal":{"name":"Priviet Social Sciences Journal","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131486505","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To find out the relationship between simple support binder and mother's confidence when caring for BBLR at the Sei Berombang Health Center, Kec. Panai Hilir, Kel. Sei Berombang, Kab. Labuhan Batu, it is necessary to do the kangaroo method treatment with a simple support binder to find out the addition of BBLR babies. The type of research is quasi-experimental research in one group (one group pre test post test design). Sampling using total sampling technique using a questionnaire instrument. The sample is 30 respondents. Data analysis will be carried out using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Data collection was carried out using the Wilcoxon test with a degree of significance (α=0.05). Based on the results of the Wilcoxon statistical test (p-value = 0.000) then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is a simple support binder relationship with the mother's confidence when caring for BBLR. And there was an increase in the baby's weight after the kangaroo method was applied with a simple support binder. In this case the mother is more confident in caring for the kangaroo method with a simple support binder.","PeriodicalId":351148,"journal":{"name":"Priviet Social Sciences Journal","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127945427","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
