Modern data acquisition systems are consisted of a number of intelligent units, usually located near the process or driven objects. Thus, virtual laboratories are invented after the Internet accessible systems first realizations. In this paper we will explain our realization of a distance measurement laboratory for intelligent measurement module characteristics verification, with a special turn on software part.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124307668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In an effort to find a general concept model, focus of our research was primarily on documents describing patents. Proposed is model for patents which allows efficient detection of individual concepts and relations among them, both within and across patent boundaries. This approach is based on a hybrid solution - employing existing conceptual indexing technique for extraction of individual concepts, and RDF/OWL descriptions for patent-specific data.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126522189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The position and shape of earthing conductors corresponds to practical realization of such system. In order to solve this problem, quasistationary antenna model of linear grounding system (LGS) is formed. Based on this model UCDs are determined by numerical solving of the system of integral equations using method of moments (MoM) and entire domain polynomial approximation for UCDs. Afterwards, the LGS impedance and electric scalar-potential (ESP) distribution at the ground surface in the pillar surrounding are determined.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125648411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A DG MESFET small-signal model is composed of two cascoded single-gate MESFET intrinsic equivalent circuits embedded in a network representing the device parasitics. The wave interpretation of the device noise is used for defining the noise parameters of each single gate MESFET. An artificial neural network is included in the noise model in order to model the noise parameters more accurately.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115963076","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, in this paper, short survey of general principles and approaches in telecommunication networks management from viewpoint of application on telecommunication system used by Electric Power Transmission Company (EPS) is given. EPS's optical telecommunication network, represents complex, branched, ring structured network, realized by high capacity OPGW technology, with total lenght around 3.000 km, which critical services require exceptional availability of links. Also, this complex network demands efficient management and monitoring system. Regarding special aspects that need to be considered when management system is projected, the paper treats analysis of available management organization options and discusses possibility for appropriate applications on concrete situation.","PeriodicalId":350740,"journal":{"name":"2007 8th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Services","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124202834","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
