To address this a structured approach is required, with the ISO 27000 series being one of the most popular practices for managing Information Security. In this work, we used a combination of qualitative research methods to conduct a SWOT analysis on the ISMS. The findings from the SWOT were then validated using a survey instrument. Finally, the results were validated and analysed using statistical methods. Our findings show that there was a generally positive view on the 'Strengths' and 'Opportunities' compared to that of 'Weaknesses' and 'Threats'. We identified statistically significant differences in the perception of 'Strengths' and 'Opportunities' across groups but also found that there is no significant variance in the perception of 'Threats'. The SWOT produced will help practitioners and researchers tailor ways to enhance ISMS using existing techniques such as TOWS matrix.","PeriodicalId":35046,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Services Operations and Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47752318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent theoretical and practical evidence denote that the use of Big data by government can boost service quality, accountability and decision-making. This paper draws on knowledge-based theory (KBT) to demonstrate how government data analytics (GDA) practices fosters innovation, absorptive and citizens-demand sensing capability in the public sector. Survey data were obtained randomly from employees working in the Jordanian Interior ministry and a fuzzy sets (fsQCA) technique was used to analyse the data. According to the findings from fsQCA: GDA practices and organisational tenure are the necessary recipes for innovative capability, citizens-demand sensing capability and absorptive capability. However, employees age, income and education were not important recipes. Implications for theory and practices are discussed alongside the limitations and future research direction.","PeriodicalId":35046,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Services Operations and Informatics","volume":"10 1","pages":"288"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42692998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this paper is twofold: on the one hand to analyse the impact and focus of influence of the different authors and entities that have been researching on CRM, and secondly to determine (based on the results of the bibliometric study of the publications on CRM) if it may be of interest to investigate and deepen the benefits and impact on CRM results as a modern and leading enterprise management solution. Bibliometrics is a fundamental field of information science that studies bibliographic material quantitatively. This study presents a bibliometric overview of CRM research using the web of science database, identifying the most prolific and influential journals, authors, institutions and countries, considering the period since 1900-2017.","PeriodicalId":35046,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Services Operations and Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42315200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To crave this thirst, we form this study by using the earlier CAPM approaches (Lintner, 1965; Sharpe, 1964) that are also employed by many latest researches. Though there is a lot of literature available on the extensions of the CAPM, still there is no consensus in the literature with respect to what a reasonable proportion of risk is, and therefore, regarding what is an appropriate measure for assessing risk-adjusted performance. Along these lines, the mission for robust asset pricing models proceeds. Owed to this, we chose five asset managing organisations for the Pakistani stock market KSE 100 Index for the time period of 2012 to 2015. We also employed descriptive test and robust test ratio on our selected data. The finding of the research shows a significant result and suggested the good performance of assets management organisations.","PeriodicalId":35046,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Services Operations and Informatics","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41397560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many of the cloud clients have been migrating or building their business into the cloud. However, various potential clients are as yet reluctant to take advantage of the cloud due to security and privacy concerns. Mainly, the proposed system consists of three modules such as: i) cryptographic security system (CSS) using dual encryption algorithm; ii) security blocking system using optimal double attack; and iii) generating optimal security system. At first, we design the security system using hybridisation of blowfish and data encryption standard (DES). From this, we evaluate how much amount of original information retrieved. Then, finally, to increase the security system, we design an optimal dual encryption based security system. At last, the quality of the work compared to other encryption techniques with minimum encryption time.","PeriodicalId":35046,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Services Operations and Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41611189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This bio energy replaces petro-diesel and deserves specific attention. However the warehousing and distribution of oil seeds is highly a dense task. This issue is being addressed by many supply chain models using different algorithms namely, Markov chain process, Integer Programming, Benders decomposition, etc., The above mentioned algorithms give variety of solutions in the respective systems. The proposed model recommends the method of finding the optimal distribution centre(s) of Jatropha seed through optimised unilateral graphical approach with possible and necessary constraints. (Whichever applicable, and wherever needed).The supply chain process consists of four different levels of modules. This paper is focused on the initial level of process to identify the appropriate solution of distribution method using graphical approach algorithmically. The resultant solution obtained may go ahead to the next level of the module in the supply chain with network.","PeriodicalId":35046,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Services Operations and Informatics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43007148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
