This technology is currently planned for widespread application in the Industry 4.0. And one of the important tasks in this area is the creation of a dynamic model of the object in the simulation program. The article describes the basic principles of digital twins’ design of the manipulator, taking into account its dynamic and mass-dimensional characteristics. It was shown that the use of polynomial algorithms in the control system provides the best solution for the quality of technological operations and provides standard tolerance grades and limit deviations within IT7.","PeriodicalId":349940,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 19th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (PEMC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130286591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The accurate identification of mechanical parameters of servo-drive system is essential for synthesis of the servo-drive’s control system. Several mathematical models, including non-linear one, are applied to identify parameters of considered plant. In the proposed approach, the identification is based on angular velocity response and electromagnetic torque generated by the motor. The identified parameters obtained for several configurations of experimental set, i.e. for different moments of inertia and friction components, were compared with another approaches of identification.","PeriodicalId":349940,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 19th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (PEMC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130451325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, the two types of EV charging strategies are explained. Herein, the characteristics, the influences on the EV battery, and the respective requirements for the hardware and communication of the BMS and power electronic converter are summarized. Secondly, a simulation case study is conducted to investigate the influences of the two charging strategies on the performance of a typical power electronic converters employed as a back-end converter of a fast EV charger. A modular 50kW DC-DC EV charger constructed with five parallel-connected 10kW Phase-Shift Full-Bridge (PSFB) DC-DC converter is modelled with two different charging strategies, and two comparison metrics are proposed for a benchmark: the charging-cycle efficiency and the installation utilization rate. The results show that these two comparison metrics are influenced by the charging strategies of the EV.","PeriodicalId":349940,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 19th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (PEMC)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127895757","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, many problems arise such as: problems with heat dissipation, high output impedance, gate waveform distortion. This paper presents a current-source gate driver with a step-down transformer, dedicated for high frequency driving of GaN FETs. The usage of a step-down transformer provides impedance and voltage matching between primary and secondary side. Theoretical analysis, optimization model, simulation results and laboratory setup results are included. To achieve high precision, a gray-box rotor flux observer and inverter model have been lately introduced and validated to be effective. Gray-box models (GBMs) combine first-order principles from physics with data-driven identification enabling accurate model performances at low model complexity. Since the effectiveness of an operating strategy significantly depends on the accuracy of the underlying loss model, in this paper, the aforementioned GBMs’ scope is extended to estimate also the power losses in the motor and inverter. Hence, the achieved universal drive model delivers flux, torque, and loss estimations which are substantial for various control tasks, like torque control, operating strategy, or thermal models. In comprehensive test bench investigations, which take into account the entire drive operating range, the measured power losses are compared to the model estimations. This analysis validates that the GBMs can estimate the losses in the motor with a root-mean-square error of 0.47 % and in the inverter with 0.87 %, both related to the nominal mechanical power of the motor.","PeriodicalId":349940,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 19th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (PEMC)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114736679","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The advantages of predictive control are its very simple realization and possibility to optimize various predefined criteria. It is demonstrated that its performance can be significantly improved by using the topology morphing control. Unlike its counterparts, this topology allows for several topology morphing control implementations – either using a combined energy transfer or a reconfigurable rectifier. These two approaches are compared in terms of power losses estimated based on the simulated voltage and current waveforms. The obtained results are discussed in terms of efficiency improvement and converter mode transition points. Discussion regarding differences in the mechanism of losses is provided.","PeriodicalId":349940,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 19th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (PEMC)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128269665","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
