For Azevêdo (2009), what was simply a growing adherence of practitioners and fans of some modalities - especially soccer - has become an economic power today. The need to implement new strategies to attract, satisfy and win the loyalty of consumers has become more necessary with the great development of the Sports Industry (Fagundes et al., 2012). As an area of academic research, the search for sports marketing has received more attention in national and international publications (Rocha & Bastos, 2011). In parallel with the growth of the Sports Industry and the need to serve consumers better and better, it is noted that women have had an increasing impact on the global sports economy (Harrison et al., 2016). However, a disparity in access and experiences in sports by women is still verified (Cunningham, 2015) and this is reflected in research, as much of the research regarding sports consumption does not have an analysis of the female audience, as corroborated by Delia (2014). In this sense, the objective of this article is to analyze the academic production that focuses on investigating sports consumption by women. This research is characterized as a Systematic Review according to the concept of Gomes & Caminha (2013). Initially, 250 articles were found and, paying attention to the established criteria, 7 articles were included in this review. We can conclude that the academic production that focuses on investigating the sports consumption by women is still scarce, it is recent, there is no globalization of research and search for specific female cores. We highlight the importance that entities should value women's sports since representation leads to greater consumption and, consequently, to greater financial gain. Understanding different contexts and populations can allow the comprehension of conditions related to consumer understanding, thus increasing generalizability.","PeriodicalId":349501,"journal":{"name":"Revista Intercontinental de Gestão Desportiva","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114490489","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this work is to identify the importance of sports management and public policies for sports and leisure to promote the habitus of body practices at the beach, understanding these as the maximum expression of the identity of social agents in this field. Nevertheless, it is necessary to recognize that the corporal practices carried out in the beach regions constitute their own habitus in a specific field: the beach field. This essay is an integral part of an ongoing doctoral project in Exercise and Sport Sciences carried out at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. This is mixed research, whose instruments will be triangulated to identify the public policies of sport and leisure in the Lagos Region, relating them to the beach sports habitus and the community protagonism originating from the local school curriculum. Public policies in the field of sport and leisure are recent and, in the same way, sports management in this field is still quite incipient. The scarcity of financial resources is almost always present in the discourses of sports management as a way of justifying the small or unsustainable public policies aimed at the area. However, many other reasons justify the inefficiency or non-existence of programs focused, above all, on educational sport and/or sport-participation, which may consider the marketing bias of sport in Brazil, corruption in the area and the lack of sports managers in these programs as being some of these reasons. On the other hand, when taking into account the local habitus, policies that consider community protagonism important, qualified managers and efficient programs, there are enough elements in the beach sports field to impact the quality of life, education, leisure and even in high-performance sport, albeit indirectly.","PeriodicalId":349501,"journal":{"name":"Revista Intercontinental de Gestão Desportiva","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125699824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The production aimed to understand the impact of reopening, after the need to close to meet the demands of health bodies due to the pandemic, on the management of gyms in Porto Alegre/RS. The data analysis method was based on a descriptive qualitative approach, through content analysis and relied on a collection of empirical data through interviews, news and official documents. The interviews were carried out with four managers, in person format and on online platforms and were transcribed to organize the analysis categories. The analysis explored three categories: operational, financial and relational. The empirical data surveys pointed to the difficulties related to the process of reopening the academies, in which at first arose from the need to maintain commercial activity and, for that, emergency actions such as teacher dismissals, reduction of collective classes and accumulation of functions of the manager were mentioned and a series of changes in the processes such as the availability of alcohol gel hygiene materials, newsletters, campaigns on social networks and compliance with health standards such as the use of masks, distancing, restriction on the number of students per schedule, in addition to the importance of establishing clear communication with those involved.","PeriodicalId":349501,"journal":{"name":"Revista Intercontinental de Gestão Desportiva","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115232743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
