Utilizing a descriptive quantitative approach with panel data estimation, this research employs archival data analysis techniques. The data were sourced from Moody's Analytics Bank Focus, and the sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 133 commercial banks from ASEAN-5 countries for the period 2013-2023.The findings reveal that competition, as measured by the Lerner index, has a positive and significant effect on bank stability, both when stability is measured by the z-score and by Non-Performing Loans (NPLs). Conversely, bank size has a negative and significant effect on bank stability, again both in terms of z-score and NPLs. These insights are valuable for banking institutions, debtors, customers, and investors, guiding their capital investments in the banking sector. Maintaining a business in a competitive environment poses challenges for business owners. Intense competition often leads many to give up. However, by employing various strategies to foster consumer loyalty, businesses can thrive amidst fierce competition. This study aims to examine the influence of brand image and service quality on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Utilizing a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach, the study surveyed 150 consumers of Scarlett Whitening in Malang City using questionnaires distributed via Google Forms. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The findings indicate that brand image and customer satisfaction significantly impact customer loyalty of Scarlett Whitening consumers in Malang City. Conversely, service quality does not have a significant effect on customer loyalty. The research focuses on key areas such as procurement, inventory management, distribution, and technology integration. Utilizing qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews with supply chain managers and document analysis, the study reveals that both companies have developed effective supply chain strategies. Alfamart is noted for its flexibility and speed of response, while Indomaret emphasizes stability and efficiency. The findings, supported by specific data on inventory turnover rates and distribution times, suggest that improved supply chain management can significantly impact product availability, customer service, and consumer satisfaction. Recommendations for both companies include optimizing logistics processes, adopting advanced technology, and enhancing collaboration with suppliers, aiming to reduce operational costs and increase consumer satisfaction. This study highlights the importance of continuous development and technology integration in supply chain systems to maintain a competitive edge in the retail market. By implementing tailored strategies, Alfamart and Indomaret can further improve their supply chain efficiency, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. References to relevant studies and journals support these conclusions, emphasizing the critical role of efficient supply chain management in the retail industry. Using partial least squares (PLS) as the data analysis technique, we analyzed responses from a sample of 240 respondents. The results indicate that product quality, price, and service excellence do not significantly influence consumer satisfaction with AQUA products. In contrast, brand image positively influences customer satisfaction. Based on these findings, we recommend improving product quality and adjusting pricing strategies. The population of this study comprises banking companies from ASEAN-5 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand) over the period from 2013 to 2022. Based on data availability, a sample of 100 banking companies over 10 periods, resulting in a total of 1000 panel observations, was analyzed. Linear regression analysis of the panel data was conducted using Eviews12 software. The results indicate that both bank ownership and company size have a negative and significant impact on bank stability. These findings suggest that banks should enhance transparency and diversification in their holdings to mitigate risks associated with high concentrations of ownership, particularly in large banks. This requires businesses to be able to adapt to changes that occur in order to stay afloat and compete. One way that businesses can do is to implement the right strategy. The purpose of this study is to examine business strategies that can be applied by businesses in facing the global economy. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out with literature studies. The collected data is analyzed in three steps including data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results show that an increasingly competitive global economy requires businesses to be able to adapt to changes that occur. One way that can be done by businesses is to apply the right strategy, there are several business strategies that can be applied in facing the global economy, namely differentiation strategies, low cost strategies, focus strategies, and collaboration strategies. The results showed that the skills and knowledge needed by students to start and manage a business include technical skills, managerial skills, and entrepreneurial skills. Effective methods and approaches in providing entrepreneurial education and training to students include case-based methods, project-based methods, and simulation-based methods.
