The unit cell of the absorber consists of a SRR loaded with resistors and PIN diodes, and two rings as bias circuit. The simulation and measurement results show that by forwardly or reversely biasing the diodes so as to change the resonate modes, the absorber can be dynamically switched to operate in two adjacent frequency bands. The current-reused topology is adopted to fulfill low power consumption, meanwhile, high gain and low noise are obtained. The cascaded L-match input network is used to enhance the input matching bandwidth. The MGTR is utilized to improve the linearity performance. Post-layout simulated results present a maximum power gain of 28.7 dB, a good input matching across 1.8-6.5 GHz and a high third-order input intercept point (IIP3) of-10.4 dBm. The adjustable range of fractional bandwidth is from 7% to 45% controlled by adjusting the impedance of stubs. The SIR structure with a short-end stub is proposed to obtain matching to separated modes thus wide bandwidth response is achieved. There are two resistor and a capacitor in series instead of single resistor added between two output ports to improve the isolation. However, these works only focus on transmitting traffic flows at the top-of-rack (ToR) switch. In this paper, we propose a deadline-aware rate control scheme (DRCS) that detects the network congestion situation by considering the flow size, deadline, and the number of hops of the flows on each transmission path in WDCNs. The DRCS use the wireless link to distributes traffic among a pair of ToR switches (ToRs) to eliminate oversubscription of different layers in WDCNs. It is a BLEenabled Accelerometer-based Sensing In a Chip-packaging (BASIC) module with patented CORDIC-based tilting angle transformation algorithm implemented. As the results, the device provides not only the 3-axis acceleration data but also the 3-axis tilting angles wirelessly through BLE technology. It has the features of low cost, low energy, small form-factor, digitized information for easy system integration and standalone battery operation with wireless data communication capability. In large scale smart-living applications, data require a smart and efficient manner to store daily living information. Object-based storage is a storage architecture that manages data as objects, as opposed to other storage architectures like file systems which manage data as a file hierarchy and block storage which manages data as blocks within sectors and tracks. In general, each object typically includes the data itself, a variable amount of metadata, and a globally unique identifier. Object storage seeks to enable capabilities not addressed by other storage architectures such as data replication and data distribution at object-level granularity. A distributed data store is a computer network where information is stored on more than one node, often in a replicated fashion. It is usually specifically used to refer to either a distributed database where users store information on a number of nodes, or a computer network in which users store information on a number of peer network nodes. In this paper, we focus on the performance evaluation of object data store behaviors on different types of storage. One of the goals is to utilize Internet of Things (IoT) technology to control electronic appliance and education devices. This talk describes a platform called IoTtalk for IOT device interaction. IoTtalk allows connection and meaningful interaction between physical IoT devices (such as a fan in a smart house). Moreover, the IoTtalk can easily accommodate cyber IoT devices such as a ball motion in animation. We show cyber and physical integration can be achieved through IoTtalk to implement Smart Campus. Specially, we show how one can use a mobile phone (physical device) to control a flower growing in animation (cyber debice) and a physical pendulum guide the swing of a cyber pendulum.
