The research data was obtained from a questionnaire containing 26 statements referring to the HoM indicators. It was measured using a Likert scale and then analysed using the Mann Whitney-U test to see if there were differences in the achievement of HoM from the two sample groups that received the online learning and the hybrid learning method. The results showed that there was no difference in the achievement of HoM in the two groups with the average score still below the ideal score of each measured indicator. Based on these findings, the implementation of online learning and hybrid learning methods pay more attention to affective abilities so that the achievement of prospective mathematics teachers’ HoM in mathematics learning after the COVID-19 pandemic can be maximized.","PeriodicalId":348494,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Didactic Mathematics","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121359784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research design is quantitative descriptive on 75 students of class XI SMA Negeri in one of Mataram City State. The data collection is in the form of a mathematical reasoning ability test score consisting of 5 items, and a 20-point SEM questionnaire. Data analysis using simple regression. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between mathematical self-efficacy and students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The simple regression equation, namely: Y = 38.075 + 0.483X explains how students' mathematical reasoning abilities can be improved by increasing mathematical self-efficacy. Observation of other factors in the formulation of the regression equation is important for further research, considering that the results of these findings show that the correlation between mathematical self-efficacy and mathematical reasoning ability is only 14.8%.","PeriodicalId":348494,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Didactic Mathematics","volume":"192 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121104629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The RME approach in this study was applied in the form of RME reasoning questions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects in this study were 33 students of class IX-E SMA, then reduction was made by taking three students, one with high, medium, and low reasoning abilities. The data was collected using an instrument of mathematical reasoning ability test in the form of an essay consisting of 4 valid and reliable questions, and by using interviews to obtain data in the form of student responses directly by providing a series of questions posed by the researcher to the subject. Based on the results of the study, several conclusions were obtained that the three subjects had a fairly good understanding of using questions that were close to examples in everyday life. Students who have high reasoning ability are able to master the five indicators of mathematical reasoning ability. Students who have moderate reasoning ability are only able to master three indicators of mathematical reasoning ability. Students who have low reasoning ability, are able to master one hand of mathematical reasoning ability.","PeriodicalId":348494,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Didactic Mathematics","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128219836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve this goal, a quasi-experimental study was conducted with one group pretest posttest design. The population of the study was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Angkola Timur, sampling by purposive sampling, namely class 8-2, totaling 26 students. Research activities include the stages of giving the Pre-test followed by learning for 3 meetings which then ends with a final test. Through research conducted using the Paired Samples Test, a significance of 0.00 < 0.05 was obtained, which gave the decision that the initial hypothesis was accepted. Of the 9 aspects of learning activities studied in the application of realistic mathematics education, the overall average value of the percentage of all activities met the active criteria. Furthermore, the average overall student response to being happy, new, interested and understanding/interested in the implementation of realistic mathematics education is 91.11% ≥ 85%. Thus it is concluded that: 1) The implementation of a realistic mathematics education approach has a significant positive influence in learning students' ability to understand mathematical concepts; 2) Student activities in learning mathematics with realistic mathematics education approach are effective; 3) Student responses to learning activities with realistic mathematics education are in the positive category.","PeriodicalId":348494,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Didactic Mathematics","volume":"260 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121043438","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
