This research was conducted with observation techniques and documented agricultural development activities. The data used is secondary data, namely data on documentation of the performance of agriculture in the City of Parepare. The Location Quotient (LQ) analysis method is used to determine the potential of superior commodities in the agricultural sector. The localita coefficient analysis is used to determine the characteristics of the spread of agricultural sector commodities in the City of Parepare. The results showed that the superior commodities in the food crop sector were superior rice and cassava commodities in the districts of West Bacukiki, Soreang and Ujung. Corn commodities are superior in Bacukiki sub-district. Superior peanut commodities in the District of Bacukiki and West Bacukiki. The main commodities of the horticulture sector are superior kale in the District of West Bacukiki and Soreang. Chili, eggplant, tomato and water guava commodities are superior in Bacukiki sub-district. Spinach and pineapple commodities are superior in Soreang and Ujung Districts. Superior mustard commodities in Ujung District. Superior mango commodities in Bacukiki and Soreang Districts. Banana and papaya commodities are superior in the District of West Bacukiki and Ujung, as well as superior jackfruit commodities in the District of Bacukiki and West Bacukiki. Leading commodities in the livestock sector consist of superior cattle and horse commodities in Bacukiki District. Goat, free-range chicken and superior duck commodities in West Bacukiki District, Soreang and Ujung. Superior chicken commodities in West Bacukiki District. Based on the results of the Localita Coefficient Analysis as a whole it is known that no one reaches the value above one. The marine aquaculture sector was expected to be the largest supplier of the marine and fisheries sector in the future. Efforts to improve marine aquaculture activities are increasingly encouraged, including efforts to optimize other roles as conservation areas. This research was conducted in the waters of Barru, South Sulawesi from February to August 2018. The aim of the study was to determine the types of fish which associated with seaweed cultivation and floating net cages. In addition to know the length of fish to associate with seaweed cultivation and floating net cages. The research was carried out by observing the location of the marine culture. Samples was identified at the research location, and taken to the laboratory for further identification of samples that cannot be directly identified. Observations were made around the cultivation area. In this study we found that fish family associated with aquaculture seaweed and cages were Nemipteridae, Haemulidae, Mulidae Acanthuridae, Ceasionidae, Labridae, Pomacanthidae, Scaridae, Pomacentridae, Sygnatidae, Blenniidae, Aulostomidae, Centriscidae, Plotoscidae, and Chaetodontidae trifasciatu. The length of the fish in the seaweed area which was for 46 days. The length start after the seaweed was two weeks old until harvest. This led to land conversion in several areas, such as conversion from cocoa fields to rice fields in East Luwu District. Land was converted because cocoa plants were no longer productive and have decreased production even almost completely without production. This study aims to analyze rice farming in rice fields from the conversion of cocoa land. Research Village, South The study population was 180 farmers and the sampling was done by stratified random sampling of 30 people. The results showed that production factors such as land, seeds, urea fertilizer, phonska fertilizer, pesticides, and labor together had a significant effect on rice production on cocoa land conversion. Partially only 2 production factors have a significant effect, namely seed and labor. The average income of farmers before land conversion is Rp. 191,306.33 per month. This income increased after the conversion of land to Rp. 960,947.83. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, which is to find out and get an idea of agricultural development in Karya Harapan Mukti Hamlet, Pelepat Ilirt District, from 2015 to 2018. This study uses agricultural development indicators which include policies, extension activities and training, the market demand for agricultural products, technology, credit, development activities, and the construction and maintenance of infrastructure and facilities for agricultural development. The results of the study indicate that government policies to support agricultural development in the village have provided a very broad space and are followed by budgeting and implementation in the field. The results of the study indicate that the activities included in the indicators of agricultural development are included in the planning, and budgeting, both sourced from the APB Desa and non APB Desa.
