Charents’s\u0000correspondence which is one of the interesting manifestations of the poet’s\u0000creative mind. When a physical assessment is performed,\u0000percussion and auscultation are two techniques/methods of clinical\u0000examination used. Both percussion and auscultation involve actions which\u0000identify internal sounds of the body, coupled with the extra or abnormal\u0000sounds of varying tonal quality. Drawing parallels between these abnormal\u0000sounds and real-world phenomena, specialists denominate these sounds via\u0000metaphoric constructs. FOWLES\u0000The present paper aims at studying intertextuality as one of the basic\u0000means of structuring a text. Intertextual analysis of the novel “The Collector” by J. Fowles and the play “The Tempest” by W.Shakespeare make it possible\u0000to disclose the peculiarities of Fowles’ individual style. Linguopoetic,\u0000linguostylistic and intertextual analysis of the two literary works reveals the\u0000allusive character of the novel “the Colleoctor”, where the Shakespearean\u0000concepts of “beauty” and “ugliness” are associated with the concept\u0000“freedom”, highlighting Fowles’ individual perception of the world. Uncertainty, pessimism, negative attitude of the author\u0000can be expressed in conflict texts of newspaper style via devices mentioned\u0000above. A CASE STUDY OF THE\u0000ARMENIAN FILM “LOST AND FOUND IN ARMENIA”\u0000The article touches upon the translation peculiarities of humor into\u0000Armenian and the ways of their preservation in English through the use of\u0000translation strategies. A contemporary Armenian movie “Lost and Found in\u0000Armenia” is selected to give the general insight of the transfer of Armenian\u0000humor in subtitling. As a result of the study, we can state that from a\u0000semantic point of view, the translator was able to convey the meaning, often\u0000through partial or complete loss of humor. Deviations were mainly associated\u0000with interjections, which were omitted in the English translation. In all the\u0000extracted examples, interjections and sound effects, partially providing the\u0000humor of the episodes, were omitted. We\u0000do not seek to give a resourceful explanation to the concept and theory of\u0000critical and creative thinking; our foremost concern is to show how the\u0000knowledge of these two types of thinking can be linked to and identified in\u0000Grammar instruction.\u0000Driven by the pursuit of the 21st century learning goals and requirements\u0000and the urgent necessity of developing students’ higher order thinking skills,\u0000we seek to explore the impact of these two types of thinking on the quality of\u0000students’ academic performance in grammar classes through identifying the\u0000reciprocal link between grammar and critical-creative thinking. We also seek\u0000to evaluate students’ grammatical competence through determining the extent\u0000to which they acquire and master the core elements of grammar through the\u0000core elements of critical and creative thinking. We are free of the bias to\u0000regard Grammar as a sentence-level phenomenon as this kind of view is\u0000incompatible with the notion of competency-based instruction. Through\u0000introducing an integrated approach, we propose teaching Grammar in a variety\u0000of contexts with the intent of exposing not only morphological and syntactical\u0000peculiarities of a certain grammatical phenomenon but also its sociopragmatic\u0000aspects.\u0000What we should call in mind from the outset is that creative thinking is\u0000divergent and critical thinking is convergent. Sports terms that refer to both general and Grabar, dialectal,\u0000Western Armenian, as well as new and borrowed words have been studied.\u0000Those chronological layers are introduced in different proportions, where the\u0000prevailing part are general sport terms, that are used in all stages of the\u0000development of the Armenian language. The rest of the chronological layers\u0000consist of the newly formed sports terms, loanwords, the number of which is\u0000growing due to the emergence of new sports.
