The research procedure uses stages: planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, tests, documentation, and field notes. The instruments used are interview guides, observation sheets, worksheets, tests, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis technique in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan, dimana penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan produk tertentu, serta menguji keefektifan produk tersebut. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 6 Kota Serang dengan uji skala terbatas dilakukan pada 5 siswa, sedangkan uji lapangan dilakukan terhadap 15 siswa. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini siswa yang menggunakan bahan ajar dengan memanfaatkan program Geogebra mengalami peningkatan pemahaman konsep dibandingkan dengan siswa sebelum menggunakan bahan ajar. Furthermore, to determine the effect of learning models and students' self-confidence altogether to the result of learning mathematics. The research used is experimental method. The samples used from the affordable population taken from 34 people as the sample of the test instrument, and 68 people as the research sample using proportional random sampling technique from all grade X on SMA Negeri 3 Kabupaten Tangerang. The data were collected by giving the result of learning tests and questionnaires. The data analysis consists of testing the research instrument of validity, reliability, difficulty index, and distinguishing power*. Furthermore, there are the test of requirement analysis through normality and homogeneity test. The hypothesis tested by ANOVA 2 Lanes and Tukey. This study was conducted on February to May, 2017. Tujuan utama penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa, sebagai akibat dari pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Metacognitive Guidance berbantuan GeoGebra (MG+GeoGebra) dan pembelajaran biasa (PB) yang ditinjau dari kategori PAM (tinggi, sedang, dan rendah). Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam non equivalent pretest – postest - control group design. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa: 1.a) ditinjau secara keseluruhan, peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran MG+GeoGebra lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran PB; 1.b) peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kategori PAM tinggi dan sedang pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa kategori PAM tinggi dan sedang pada kelompok kontrol; 2) tidak terdapat interaksi antara faktor pembelajaran yang diberikan dan kategori PAM (tinggi, sedang, dan rendah) terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis. The research is conducted in SMP Negeri 1 Cinangka academic year 2017/2018. The research method is quasi-experiment with pretest and posttest control group design. The research sample is 33 students for experimental class and 36 students for control class. The improvement is calculated by using N-Gain. The data analysis uses T-Test. The research result show that the student pre-ability of mathematical communication for experimental and control class is equal. The students post-ability of mathematical communication for experimental class is higher than the students who is applied by conventional technique.
