Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa kelas Biologi 18, Biologi 19, dan Biologi 20. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti menjadi key instrument. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Zoom kurang efektif dilaksanakan karena harus berada dalam jaringan yang kuat dan stabil, pemborosan kuota dan harga kuota yang mahal. Aplikasi Google Classroom efektif untuk mengumpulkan tugas, UTS dan UAS. Aplikasi WhatsApp paling efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring karena mudah di akses oleh mahasiswa yang tinggal di pedesaan.Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Pembelajaran Daring, Masa PandemikThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning using the zoom application, google class room, and whatss app during the Covid 19 pandemic at the University of Muhammadiyah Bulukumba. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. the source of data in this study were students of biology class 18,19,20. The instrument of this research was the researcher being the key instrument. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles & Huberman model. The results showed that learning by using the Zoom application was less effective for collecting assignments, UTS and UAS. The Whatts App was the most effective application used in online learning because easily accessible to students living in rural areas. Isolat bakteri yang digunakan adalah isolat bakteri B, bakteri proteolitik termofilik yang diisolasi dari Ekosistem Karst di Kabupaten Pangkajene, Sulawesi Selatan Propinsi. Pengujian aktivitas protease dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Lowry. Protein kasar tertinggi. Kandungan protein dari semua perlakuan diperoleh pada waktu inkubasi 48 jam untuk Isolat Bakteri B sebesar 4,665 mg/ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Isolat Bakteri B menunjukkan waktu produksi yang optimal pada 48 jam dengan enzim aktivitas 0,393 Unit/ml. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Isolat Bakteri B merupakan bakteri proteolitik ditandai dengan terbentuknya zona bening di sekitar koloni bakteri pada SMA. Produksi dari enzim protease yang diperoleh melalui metode RSM (CCD) optimum pada 0,393 U/ml pada glukosa konsentrasi 0,60%, ekstrak ragi 0,50% dan susu skim 1,00%.Kata kunci: protein kasar, aktivitas enzim protease dan isolat bakteri B.This study aims to determine the activity of protease enzyme production from bacterial isolate B isolated from the roots of karst plants in various incubation times. The bacterial isolate used was bacterial isolate B, a thermophilic proteolytic bacterium isolated from the Karst Ecosystem in Pangkajene Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Testing of protease activity was carried out using the Lowry method. Highest crude protein. Protein content of all treatments was obtained at 48 hours of incubation for Bacterial Isolate B (5.756 mg/ml).The results showed that Bacterial Isolate B showed optimal production time at 48 hours with enzyme activity 0.393 Unit/ml. It can be concluded that Bacterial Isolate B is a proteolytic bacterium characterized by the formation of a clear zone around the bacterial colonies in SMA. The production of the protease enzyme obtained by the RSM (CCD) method was optimum at 0.393 U/ml at 0.60% glucose concentration, 0.50% yeast extract and 1.00% skim milk. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 jenis perlakuan yaitu, formulasi inoculum P1 (nutrisi buatan + Fusarium sp), formulasi P2 (nutrisi buatan + fermentasi Fusarium sp) dan formulasi P3 (nutrisi buatan + Fusarium sp + serbuk kayu A. malaccensis Lamk yang difermentasi) dan formulasi P4 yaitu inokulum Fusarium sp beserta nutrisi organik sebagai kontrol. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan agroforestri petani di Kabupaten Soppeng, Desa BaraE, Sulawesi Selatan, dengan metode infus induksi pada 12 lubang dibor, dengan masing-masing jarak 10 cm tiap lubang dengan membentuk pola spiral. Kedalaman setiap lubang 1/3 diameter batang. Pemberian infus dilakukan setelah 3 bulan inokulasi dengan parameter pengamatan berupa luas infeksi, perubahan warna dan tingkat aroma. Hasil penelitian didapatkan formulasi P2 membentuk luas areal infeksi gaharu dengan rata-rata 10,06 cm2. Hasil organoleptic untuk perubahan warna yang menunjukkan skor 3 dari 6 panelis adalah formulasi P3, sedangkan tingkat aroma menunjukkan skor 3 (sangat harum) dari 7 panelis yaitu formulasi P4. Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa formulasi P3 berpotensi memberikan pembentukan gaharu yang lebih baik, formulasi P4 untuk tingkat aroma dan luas infeksi oleh formulasi P2. Kata kunci: Pembentukan Gaharu, Fusarium sp., Gaharu, Aquilaria malaccensi This study aims to determine the effect of artificial nutrient formulations and inoculum Fusarium sp., to produce agarwood in Aquilaria malaccensis Lamk., using the infusion method. This study used 3 types of treatment, namely, P1 inoculum formulation (artificial nutrition + Fusarium sp.), P2 formulation (artificial nutrition + Fusarium sp. fermentation) and P3 formulation (artificial nutrition + Fusarium sp. + fermented A. malaccensis Lamk sawdust) and formulation P4 was Fusarium sp. inoculum along with organic nutrients as control. The study was conducted on farmer's agroforestry land in Soppeng Regency, BaraE Village, South Sulawesi, using the induction infusion method in which 12 holes were drilled, 10 cm apart from each hole in a spiral pattern. The depth of each hole is 1/3 the diameter of the rod. Infusion was given after 3 months of inoculation with observation parameters such as area of infection, color change and aroma level. The results showed that the P2 formulation formed the area of agarwood infection with an average of 10.06 cm2. The organoleptic result for color change which showed a score of 3 out of 6 panelists was the P3 formulation, while the aroma level showed a score of 3 (very fragrant) out of 7 panelists, namely the P4 formulation. The results of this study concluded that the P3 formulation has the potential to provide better agarwood formation, the P4 formulation for the level of aroma and the extent of infection by the P2 formulation. Keramik berpori disintesis menggunakan metode gelcasting dengan bahan dasar clay alam Sulawesi Selatan, binder sagu juga sebagi template pori, dan dispersan CMC. Keramik yang dihasilkan adalah keramik dengan tingkat toksisitas rendah sehingga bersifat ramah lingkungan. Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari preparasi bahan dasar clay alam Sulawesi Selatan, sintesis keramik berpori secara gelcasting dengan variasi konsentrasi binder 2%; 4%; 6%; 8%; 10%, mengukur susut bakar massa dan mengukur densitas keramik berpori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semakin besar konsentrasi binder, semakin besar susut bakar massa keramik yang diperoleh, susut bakar massa terbesar terjadi pada konsentrasi binder 10% sebesar 26.87%. Adapun densitas keramik menurun seiring dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi binder, densitas terendah terjadi pada konsentrasi binder 10% sebesar 1,6403 g/cm3.Kata kunci: binder, sagu, keramik berpori, gelcasting.The aim of this study was to examine the effect of sago binder concentration on the physical characteristics of porous ceramics, in the form of mass shrinkage and density. Porous ceramics were synthesized using the gelcasting method with raw material of South Sulawesi natural clay, sago binder as pore template , and dispersant of CMC. The ceramics produced are ceramics with a low of toxicity so that its environmentally friendly. The research stages consisted of preparation of natural clay from South Sulawesi, synthesis of porous ceramics by gelcasting with a variation of binder concentration 2%; 4%; 6%; 8%; 10%, measuring the mass shrinkage and measuring the density of porous ceramic. The results showed the greater binder concentration, the greater mass shrinkage obtained, the largest mass shrinkage occurred at a 10% binder concentration of 26.87%. Sedangkan, Self efficacy merupakan keyakinan dan harapan mengenai kemampuan individu untuk menghadapi tugasnya. Keduanya dapat ditumbuhkan dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat. Salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan adalah strategi blended learning. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self regulated learning dengan self efficacy mahasiswa pada Jurusan Biologi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Biologi angkatan tahun 2019 yang terdiri atas 158 orang. Sampel diambil secara acak sederhana yang terdiri atas 39 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket self regulated learning yang terdiri atas 30 item dan angket self efficacy yang terdiri dari 18 item. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilar r = 0,619 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0.000 lebih kecil dari α = 0,05. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara self regulated learning dengan self efficacy mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Biologi Dasar. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, self regulated learning dan self efficacy mahasiswa sebaiknya ditumbuhkembangkan dalam pembelajaran. Kata-kata kunci: self regulated learning, self efficacy, blended learningSelf-regulated learning is an independence in learning that must be promoted in order that students do not only rely solely on the information provided by lecturers. While, Self efficacy is a belief and hope regarding the ability of individuals to deal with their duties. Both can can be promoted by implementing appropriate learning strategies. One of the learnings strategies that can be implemented is the blended learning strategy. Accordingly, this research is conducted to assess the relationship between self regulated learning and student self-efficacy in the Department of Biology. The population in this study was all students of the Department of Biology in 2019 consisting of 158 people. The sample was taken by simple random sampling consisting of 39 people. The instrument used was a self regulated learning questionnaire consisting of 30 items, and a self-efficacy questionnaire consisting of 18 items. The research data was analyzed product moment correlation. The results obtained by value r = 0.619 with a significance value of p = 0.000 smaller than α = 0.05. Thus, it was concluded there was a relationship between self regulated learning and student self-efficacy in Basic Biology Class. Telah dilakukan penelitian sintesis nanosilika dari pasir pantai Takalar dengan menggunakan metode hidrotermal. Ada beberapa metode yang bisa digunakan untuk sintesis nanosilika, di antaranya kopresipitasi, sol gel dan hidrotermal. Metode dengan cara yang paling mudah dan membutuhkan biaya yang tidak terlalu besar adalah metode hidrotermal. Hasil menunjukkan nanosilika yang dihasilkan memiliki kadar silika (SiO2) sebesar 59,82 Adapun karakteristik dari nanopartikel silika yang dihasilkan pada metode hidrotermal yaitu berada pada fasa kristal kuarsa dan kristobalit dengan sistem kristal masing-masing trigonal dan tetragonal yang memiliki kisaran rata-rata ukuran partikel 45,07 nm - 48,68 nm. Kata kunci: metode hidrotermal, nanosilika, pasir.Nanosilica synthesis requires materials that contain a lot of silica compounds. Research shows that beach sand is the largest source of silica. Research on the synthesis of nanosilica from Takalar beach sand using the hydrothermal method has been carried out. There are several methods that can be used for the synthesis of nanosilica, including coprecipitation, sol gel and hydrothermal. The method with the easiest and the least costly is the hydrothermal method. The results showed that the nanosilica produced had a silica (SiO2) content of 59.82. 45.07 nm - 48.68 nm. Target khusus yang akan dicapai adalah tersedianya bahan ajar kalkulus berbasis masalah terbuka berupa: Satuan Acara Perkuliahan (SAP), Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (LKM), Buku Pegangan Mahasiswa (BPM), dan Tes Kemampuan Kalkulus (TKK). Untuk mencapai target tersebut, proses pengembangan menggunakan Model 4-D (four D Models) dari Thiagarajan (1974) yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: (1) tahap pendefinisian (define), (2) tahap perancangan (design), (3) tahap pengembangan (develop), dan (4) tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Untuk menilai kualitas bahan ajar kalkulus berbasis masalah terbuka yang dikembangkan, digunakan kriteria Nieveen, yaitu memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Untuk keperluan pengujian kualitas, maka bahan ajar diujicobakan pada mahasiswa Jurusan Matematika FMIPA UNM Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) bahan ajar berbasis masalah terbuka telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, (2) hasil ujicoba menunjukkan: (a) bahan ajar berbasis masalah terbuka telah memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan, (b) bahan ajar berbasis masalah terbuka telah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan. Kata kunci: bahan ajar, masalah terbuka, kalkulus.The purpose of this research is to develop open problem-based teaching materials in quality calculus learning (valid, practical, and effective). The specific target to be achieved is the availability of open problem-based calculus teaching materials in the form of: Lecture Program Unit (SAP), Student Worksheet (LKM), Student Handbook (BPM), and Calculus Ability Test (TKK). To achieve this target, the development process uses the 4-D Model (four D Models) from Thiagarajan (1974) which consists of four stages, namely: (1) the definition stage, (2) the design stage, (3 ) the development stage (develop), and (4) the dissemination stage (disseminate). For the purposes of quality testing, the teaching materials were tested on students of the Mathematics Department, FMIPA UNM Makassar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan hasil validitas dan praktikalitas buku penuntun praktikum pembelajaran IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP At-Thayyibah Semurup. Produk yang dikembangkan di nilai oleh validator ahli media dan validator ahli materi serta dilakukan uji kepraktisan pada siswa yang berjumlah 28 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala likert. Produk yang dihasilkan yaitu buku penuntun praktikum materi sistem pernapasan pada manusia. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor sebesar 3,73 atau 93,25% dengan kategori sangat valid dan validasi ahli media diperoleh skor sebesar 3,15 atau 78,75% dengan kategori valid. Sedangkan respon pengguna siswa terhadap pengembangan buku penuntun praktikum memperoleh skor 3,4 atau sebesar 85% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian explanatory dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel sebagai subjek penelitian ialah mahasiswa biologi UNM angkatan 2018 sebanyak 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket respon mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan praktikum di Kebun Raya Massenrempulu Enrekang berupa outdoor learning, yang mengacu pada empat aspek, yaitu respon mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan outdoor learning, respon terhadap manfaat outdoor learning, respon terhadap pemahaman materi, dan respon terhadap kenyamanan/kebersihan lingkungan. Instrumen soal pilihan ganda untuk menentukan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t untuk melihat hubungan antara respon dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pembelajaran outdoor learning. Hubungan antara respon dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pembelajaran outdoor learning diuji dengan menggunakan independent sampel t-test (uji- t). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara respon dan hasil belajar mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran outdoor learning. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan sistem outdoor learning merupakan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di lingkungan sehingga mahasiswa dapat mengamati secara langsung hal-hal yang terjadi dan mengasosiasikan pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan keadaan lingkungan tempat belajar. Respon terhadap pembelajaran outdoor learning diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi lingkungan mahasiswa.
