Ainda sao poucas as pesquisas, no entanto, que consideram o papel do ouro nas trocas diretas por escravos no Golfo de Benim. Specifically, the present text analyzes the incorporation of 143 objects donated by women between 1995 and 1998, verifying their museological documentation and the way their functional transformations (real to symbolic) were constituted by the donors and museum staff members, the first mediating intellectuals. A partir do momento que o trafico internacional de escravos aos portos brasileiros foi fechado, em 1850, o interno seria a unica alternativa para repor a mao de obra escrava nas lavouras e nos centros urbanos. O trafico de escravos com sua logica propria, constituiu-se em escola de horrores na historia dos continentes americano e africano, principalmente. Neste artigo, tentaremos analisar um pouco da face interna do trafico de escravos, especialmente a partir da proibicao do comercio internacional. Para tanto, procuramos demonstrar como os comerciantes de gente trabalhavam na provincia de Pernambuco. As mudancas pelas quais esse jornal passou entre 1961 e 1963, no que se refere ao trato da questao agraria, sao elucidativas sobre o esforco despendido pela hierarquia catolica na luta pela organizacao politica do trabalhador rural. Adotando como referencias teorico-metodologicas as ideias desenvolvidas por Jean-Noel Jeanneney, Norman Fairclough, Regina de Luca, Cruz e Peixoto, procuramos fazer uma analise bidimensional do discurso desse periodico, discutindo tanto sua estrutura textual – vocabulario e estrategias argumentativas – como a conjuntura politico-economica na qual se inseria. In the national historiography the interpretation was solidified that, between 1889 and 1930, the regional oligarchies were kept in power by the fraud pratice, the control over the electors vote and the political hegemony of the republican parties. In this work we confirm this perception evidencing the Federal Congress choice in refusing the judicialization as an attempt to legitimize the electoral ritual. In this way, not even the unpublished active participation of electors and the excluded from voting rights in Pernambuco’s election of 1911, which resulted in the fall of Rosa e Silva oligarchy. The clipping characterizes the last Arthur Ferreira Filho’s administration in the municipality, marked by a political rearrangement at the state level, which was accompanied by a fiercely contested debate in the press, and especially among its political opponents. Passo Fundo, at ancient was one of the main economic and political poles of the state, being an important electoral base. A partir das denunciacoes que resultaram da Primeira Visitacao da Inquisicao ao Brasil, e a presenca do visitador na Capitania supracitada, entre os anos de 1593 a 1595, procura-se perceber como se davam os olhares de vigilância sobre os cristaos-novos por parte da populacao de cristaos-velhos, desde antes da chegada do representante do tribunal por essas terras.
