Sometimes this is due to venom or allergic effects and at other times it is simply due to the fear that this may be venomous. The aim of this study is to identify the stings or bites on human beings. Bites by different animals and insects produce different kinds of wounds and identification of stings from the wound may be possible. Some of these also produce systemic effects too. These symptoms may help too in the identification of the biter or stinger and it can be found that the same is venomous or non-venomous. Examination of the agent causing these bites or stings too can help in its identification. Literature is reviewed to find out local findings, systemic findings due to toxicity or allergic reactions and examination of the venomous agents if available for examination. Identification of the causative agent will help to allay the fears if it can be identified that bite or sting is non-venomous. If it is venomous proper treatment can be initiated at the earliest. This will help to reduce mortality and morbidity.

RTAs have got multi-factorial causation. It is a part of the price we pay for our technological progress. Regional differences exist in the pattern of injury sustained by different types of road users that can have significant implications in the development of prevention policies.\u0000The objective of the Study: To understand the profile and pattern of injuries sustained and circumstances leading to RTAs in and around Moradabad, U.P.\u0000Materials and Methods: After ethical clearance for the study, all RTA victims presenting to the Casualty of TMU Moradabad, U.P. were taken for this study. All relevant details of RTIs were recorded and data collected, entered on a predesigned proforma and then tabulated, analyzed and interpreted statistically.\u0000Results: Out of 730 patients included in this study, most common victims were pedestrians (33.01%), most common site of injury was head (86.71%), most common external injury was lacerated wound (46.75%), and intoxication was seen in 24.11%, protective/safety measures used by 10.23%. \u0000Conclusion: RTAs continue to be a speedily rising problem, causing heavy loss of manpower and resources. Road users should be properly trained by authorized centers; driving licenses should be issued after strict testing of driving skills. But it is counted as sexual assault or rape if it is without her consent or against her will or when it is obtained by unlawful manners such as fraud, putting her in fear of death or hurt, drugging or impersonation. Sexual offences are traumatic at the time of occurrence and may also leave a very bad and negative impact on her physical and mental health. A retrospective study was performed after collecting Medico-legal reports done on survivors and accused in Government Hospital Karnal from January 2012 to April 2016. In the present study, Total 69 cases of alleged history of sexual assault were taken, out of which 38 cases of male accused and 31 cases of female survivors’ medico-legal reports were studied. The highest percentage of female survivors was among age group between 11-20 years (64.5 %). The highest percentage of male accused was among age group between 21-30 years (55.3 %). During examination it was found that 2 female survivors (6.5%) out of 31 cases had alleged h/o sexual assault at the same time. There were 3 cases (7.9%) of gang rape. Out of these three cases of gang rape, in two cases (66.7%), two each accused persons were involved and in one case (33.3%) four accused were involved. In rest of the cases single male accused was involved. It is seen that younger aged females are at maximum risk for sexual assault threat and young adult males are active in these sexual assault activities. So it is important to give sex education to our young generation and make them aware.

These intraoral and extra oral hard and soft tissue injuries can be iatrogenic, self-induced, caused by bad patient compliance or just by accidents intervened by the patient while wearing the appliance. These traumas/injuries are not uncommon since an orthodontic treatment are mainly done with stainless steel [metal] and the treatment usually continues for a long period of time ranging from 6- 36 months in themajority of the cases. The high pervasiveness of individuals with dental trauma preceding to orthodontic treatment justify the safety measures that should be followed before and during treatment while bearing in mind all the possible effects of orthodontic movement on traumatized teeth. Among the major traumatic dental injuries, avulsion with subsequent tooth reimplantation entails a higher than average risk of complications, such as pulp necrosis, root resorption, and ankyloses. Therefore, it gives orthodontists numerous reasons for apprehension during orthodontic treatment.

About a million suicides occur annually throughout the world. A suicide note is often found at the scene. It has been reported that a note was left in 5%-43% of the suicides (1). The content of a suicide note includesapology, shame, guilt, love for those left behind and instruction regarding practical affairs (2). It is an important tool for medico-legal investigation on the manner and circumstances surrounding the death. The victim generally writes them on a paper, notebook, wall, or mirror by means of pen or marker (3). We present a case where asuicide note was recovered from the ligature itself. This method of keeping a suicide note in the ligature is unique and rarely found in the literature.
