This study focused on 131 news items on migrant workers' issues in Saudi Arabia in the online newspapers Detikcom and Sabq.org, with details of Detikcom 64 news and Sabq.org 67 as samples, with the aim of finding out how Detikcom and Sabq.org cover Indonesian migrant workers in Saudi Arabia and the difference in coverage of both. The content analysis method was chosen as an analysis tool with Codingsheet as a data collection technique and chi-square as a different test tool. The findings of this study are that there is uniformity of coverage on news about migrant workers in Saudi Arabia at Detikcom and Sabq.org with several categories of significant differences.Berbagai permasalahan TKI dan peliputannya yang diduga berbeda pada berbagai media melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada 131 isi berita permasalahan TKI di Arab Saudi pada suratkabar online Detikcom dan Sabq.org, dengan perincian Detikcom 64 berita dan Sabq.org 67 berita sebagai sampel, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Detikcom dan Sabq.org meliput TKI di Arab Saudi dan perbedaan liputan keduanya. Metode analisis isi dipilih sebagai alat analisis dengan codingsheet sebagai teknik pengumpulan data dan chi-square sebagai alat uji beda. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada keseragaman liputan pada berita tentang di TKI di Arab Saudi pada Detikcom dan Sabq.org dengan beberapa kategori didapati perbedaan signifikan. The diffusion of da'i Hidayatullah's da'wah communication in fostering rural communities and the innovation of da'i Hidayatullah's da'wah communication in fostering rural communities in Cimenyan district, Bandung regency. The research method uses descriptive methods by making the da'i Hidayatullah Bandung district that fosters rural communities as the main source of this research. This type of research is qualitative. The results showed that the Hidayatullah preacher had a role as a change agent by conducting persuasive-informative communication in raising and fostering rural communities in the Cimenyan sub-district, Bandung regency. The diffusion of da'wah communication carried out by Hidayatullah in developing rural communities in the Cimenyan district of Bandung district through activities in the form of majelis ta'lim, grand MBA, training of bina aqidah, qur'an education park (TPA) and mosque youth in which da'wah messages in the form of aqeedah, shari'ah, and morals. Da'i Hidayatullah's innovation in da'wah communication was in the form of implementing an empowerment program which included empowering human resources (HR) and the community economy which was formed through training and recitation activities.Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi dakwah da’i Hidayatullah dalam membina masyarakat pedesaan yang dirumuskan menjadi tiga pertanyaan sebagai berikut: peran da’i Hidayatullah dalam menyadarkan masyarakat pedesaan. Difusi komunikasi dakwah da’i Hidayatullah dalam membina masyarakat pedesaan dan inovasi komunikasi dakwah da’i Hidayatullah dalam membina masyarakat pedesaan di kecamatan Cimenyan kabupaten Bandung. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan menjadikan da’i Hidayatullah kabupaten Bandung yang membina masyarakat pedesaan sebagai sumber utama dalam penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa da’i Hidayatullah berperan sebagai agen perubah dengan melakukan komunikasi persuasif-informatif dalam menyadarkan dan membina masyarakat pedesaan di kecamatan Cimenyan kabupaten Bandung. Difusi komunikasi dakwah yang dilakukan oleh da’i Hidayatullah dalam membina masyarakat pedesaan di kecamatan Cimenyan kabupaten Bandung melalui kegiatan berupa majelis ta’lim, grand MBA, training bina aqidah, taman pendidikan al-qur’an (TPA) dan remaja masjid yang didalamnya disampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah berupa pesan aqidah, syari’ah, dan akhlak. Research uses constructivist paradigms, qualitative approaches and case study methods . The results of the study show that, political public relations within the Prosperous Justice Party are carried out by building togetherness and consolidation as well as cadre formation in a family and equality manner. Communication within the Prosperous Justice Party began to be addressed and conditioned, especially the spread of information within the PKS. PKS external communication is carried out by building a positive image of the party, building coalitions with other parties, and socializing the characteristics of West Java governor candidates so that they can be accepted by the community. The imaging strategy carried out by the Prosperous Justice Party in the media is done by building good relationships with the media and utilizing social media appropriately as well as utilizing E-mail, blogs, social media or Twitter. PKS vote acquisition as runner-up in 2018 West Java Pilgub shows, the existence of PKS as a party that is quite trusted and calculated.Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang media relations Partai Keadilan Sejahtera dalam membangun citra partai, menentukan strategi dalam memelihara hubungan positif dengan media, serta pemanfaatan media sosial dalam membentuk opini calon gubernur Jawa Barat Tahun 2018. Penelitian menggunakan paradigm konstruktivis, pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, Public relation politik di internal Partai Keadilan Sejahtera dilakukan dengan membangun kebersamaan dan konsolidasi sekaligus dengan pembinaan kader secara kekeluargaan dan kesetaraan. Komunikasi internal PKS mulai dibenahi dan dikondisikan, terutama dalam penyebaaran informasi di internal PKS. Komunikasi eksternal PKS dilakukan dengan membangun citra positip partai, membangun koalisi dengan partai lain, dan mensosialisasikan karakteristik calon gubernur Jawa Barat sehingga bisa diterima oleh masyarakat. Strategi pencitraan yang dilakukan oleh Partai Keadilan Sejahtera di media dilakukan dengan cara membangun hubungan yang baik dengan media dan memanfaatkan media social secara tepat seperti halnya pemanfaatan E-mail, blog, media sosial ataupun Twitter. This research uses constructivist paradigm, because that will be explored is the understanding that helps the process of interpretation called the Persatuan Islam as a community specch. This study uses a qualitative research type, because that will be studied, is a central fact. Furthermore, this research using ethnography method of communication. Aside from being a research method, ethnographic communication also has the theoretical assumptions, components and tasks of communication in a speech society (Community Speech). The results of the study show that Islamic Unity communications on a common pattern, except in the cognitive aspect show the dominance of religious understanding. The use of Islamic congregation language of many pesantren. Furthermore in the interaction lesson, the congregation of Islamic unity shows a collective cohesiveness. Penelirian ini bertujuan untuk memotret organisasi Persatuan Islam sebagai komunitas tutur. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivis, karena yang akan digali berupa pemahaman yang membantu proses interpretasi yang berkaitan dengan Persatuan Islam sebagai specch community. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, sebab yang akan dikaji, merupakan gejala sentral. Selanjutnya penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi komunikasi. Selain sebagai metode penelitian, etnografi komunikasi juga memiliki asumsi-asumsi teoritik berupa aktivitas, komponen dan kompetensi komunkasi pada sebuah masyarakat tutur (Speech Community). Hasil penelitian menunjukan komunikasi Persatuan Islam mengacu pada pattern umum, kecuali dalam skema kognitif menunjukan dominasi pemahaman keagamaan. Dalam penggunaan varietas bahasa jamaah Persatuan Islam banyak dipengaruhi budaya pesantren. Selanjutnya dalam kompetensi interaksi, jamaah persatuan Islam menunjukan kohesifitas kolektif. Many examples of cases, athletes who have not realized that they have more ability in himself, becomes an interesting problem to be examined and whether it has something to do with communication between athlete and coach? Researchers use the theory communication, especially about the factors that influence the formation of communication, to be able to explore the process of interpersonal communication between athletes and trainers. The methodology of this research is quantitative. The results showed that there was a relationship between coach communication, both in verbal and nonverbal communication with athlete achievement. The communication skills of the coach in building or creating shared, open, and shared communication messages of content (athletes with trainers) have a stronger relationship than the other 3 dimensions, namely the dimension of collaboration, the dimension of critical thinking, and the dimensions of creativity.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan komunikasi dengan prestasi atlet bulutangkis SMP 116 Ragunan, pada kejuaran Djarum Sirnas, 2017. Banyak contoh kasus, atlet yang belum menyadari bahwa mereka memiliki kemampuan lebih di dalam dirinya, menjadi masalah menarik untuk diteliti dan apakah hal tersebut ada hubungannya dengan komunikasi antara atlet dengan pelatih? Peneliti menggunakan teori komunikasi, khususnya mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi terbentuknya komunikasi, untuk dapat mengeksplorasi proses komunikasi interpersonal antara atlet dan pelatih. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi pelatih, baik dalam komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal dengan prestasi atlet. Tabligh congregation when communicating not only verbally, but also nonverbally is a characteristic and identity, both in the form of clothes, caps, beards and perfumes. It also includes ways to eat and shake hands that have their own characteristics and are different from other worshipers. This study uses a qualitative approach to the phenomenology tradition, and this study aims to find out how the Jama'at Tabligh nonverbal communication. The results of this study indicate that Jamaat Tabligh nonverbal communication has a charge of nonverbal messages that are so attached to each activity and their interactions with fellow worshipers or the community in general. These nonverbal messages are at the same time as a confirmation of a Muslim's identity, which functions as self-control, as a medium to strengthen the brotherhood of fellow Muslims (Ukhuwah Islamiyah), and as a form of glorifying one's fellow Muslims (Ikramul Muslimin). And nonverbal nonverbal communication is a manifestation of his belief as a Muslim who must practice the teachings of Islam and his love for the Prophet.Salah satu organisasi yang cepat dan memiliki jumlah jamaah yang cukup banyak adalah jamaah tabligh. Jamaah Tabligh ketika berkomunikasi tidak hanya verbal, tetapi juga nonverbal yang menjadi ciri khas dan identitasnya, baik dalam bentuk pakaian, peci, jenggot, dan parfum. Termasuk juga cara makan dan cara bersalaman yang memiliki ciri tersendiri dan berbeda dengan jamaah lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tradisi fenomenologi, dan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi nonverbal Jamaah Tabligh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi nonverbal Jamaah Tabligh memiliki muatan pesan-pesan nonverbal yang begitu melekat pada setiap aktivitas dan interaksinya dengan sesama jamaah atau masyarakat pada umumnya. Pesan-pesan nonverbal ini sekaligus sebagai penegas identitas seorang muslim, yang berfungsi sebagai kontrol diri, sebagai media untuk mempererat persaudaraan sesama umat muslim (Ukhuwah Islamiyah), dan sebagai bentuk sikap memuliakan kepada sesama muslim (Ikramul Muslimin). Therefore, the purpose and objective of the research is to find out the symbols of communication and the meaning and message of using symbols of support communication for the persebaya among the SBK supporters community. In giving their support, this community mostly expresses it through certain symbols with their own meanings and messages. So the type of research used is descriptive qualitative using the Symbolic interactionism theory approach. Data obtained through interviews and direct observation in the field. From the results of the data obtained, it was concluded that the symbols of communication that happens or is done within the community to support SBK there are two symbols of verbal and non-verbal. Verbal symbols are used in the form of yells, songs or chants that they have created and always sung throughout the game. While non-verbal symbols there are three, namely, in the form of apparel / clothing made and worn every game. Certain facial expressions that appear or occur. And body movements that are intentionally done or occur accidentally.Sebagai makhluk sosial, manusia tidak akan terlepas dari namanya simbol komunikasi. Sebab itu, Maksud dan tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui simbol komunikasi serta makna dan pesan dari penggunaan simbol-simbol komunikasi dukungan pada persebaya dikalangan komunitas suporter SBK. Dalam memberikan dukungannya, komunitas ini kebanyakan mengungkapkannya melalui simbol tertentu dengan makna dan pesan tersendiri. Sehingga tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori Interaksionisme Simbolik. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi langsung dilapangan. Dari hasil data yang diperoleh, disimpulkan bahwa simbol-simbol komunikasi yang terjadi atau dilakukan kalangan komunitas SBK dalam mendukung ada dua yaitu simbol verbal dan non verbal. Simbol verbal yang digunakan berupa yel-yel, nyanyian atau chant yang diciptakan dan selalu dinyanyikan mereka sepanjang pertandingan. Sedangkan simbol non verbal ada tiga yaitu, berupa pakaian/busana yang dibuat dan dikenakan setiap pertandingan. Ekspresi wajah tertentu yang muncul atau terjadi. This research is qualitative research using phenomenological methods. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that West Java PWI journalists are very understanding and important to the concept of independence but are flexible when the construction process of Islamic news is discussed, because the construction of the reporting of West Java PWI journalists is still carried out on the basis of media pressure.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginterpretasikan pemahaman wartawan terhadap konsep independensi dalam pemberitaan, mendeskripsikan konstruksi sebuah realitas menjadi sebuah berita, dan interpretasi keislaman wartawan PWI (Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia) Jawa Barat terhadap berita keislaman. Penelitian ini menggunaan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa wartawan PWI Jawa Barat sangat memahami dan memandanag penting terhadap konsep independensi namun bersifat fleksibel saat proses konstruksi berita keislaman di laangan, karena konstruksi pemberitaan wartawan PWI Jawa Barat masih dilakukan atas dasar ketingan media. The method used in this study is Stuart Hall's reception analysis with a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that there are differences in reception in the community. The seven informants in this study came into three positions, namely 2 people as preferred / dominant reading; 3 people as negotiated reading; and 2 people as opposition reading. The difference in reception is caused by factors found in the context of communication, namely environmental, temporal, and psychological-social conditions in society.Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui resepsi khalayak mengenai tarhim yang dilaksanakan pada waktu dini hari dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi resepsi khalayak dalam memaknai tarhim. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis resepsi dari Stuart Hall dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapatnya perbedaan resepsi di masyarakat. Tujuh orang informan dalam penelitian ini terbadi ke dalam tiga posisi, yaitu 2 orang sebagai preferred/dominant reading; 3 orang sebagai negotiated reading; dan 2 orang sebagai opposition reading. Perbedaan resepsi tersebut disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor yang terdapat dalam konteks komunikasi, yaitu faktor lingkungan, temporal, dan kondisi psikologis-sosial pada masyarakat. However, recently, several types of educational institutions in Indonesia have some attention from the society in terms of the development of behavioral character of the youth that tend to be degrading. Effective communication of dakwah(preaching) at Pesantren MQ Tebuireng (MQ Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School) as well as akhlak(behavior) education is believed to be able to improve the behavior or so called akhlak of the Indonesian youth to be better. It can be seen from this study, a study at Pesantren MQ Tebuireng aimed at finding the influence and correlation between the effectivity of communication of dakwah and akhlak education towards students. This study is a Quantitative study. The data in this study are obtained through survey using a proportional stratification sample tehnique towards 172 students at Pesantren MQ Tebuireng. The study shows that there is a simultaneous influence between an effective communication of dakwah and akhlak education towards students where Fcount of 18.009 > Ftable of 3.05. However, there is also a correlation with r value of .749. According to Priyato, the r value of .60 - .799 shows a strong correlation, i.e. between the effectivity of communication of dakwah and akhlak education towards students. Indonesia memilki bebearapa lembaga pendidikan, yakni lembaga pendidikan milik pemerintah dan lembaga milik per orangan, sedangkan sekarang beberapa lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia mendapat sorotan dari masyarakat mengenai pengembangan karakter tingkah laku generasinya yang mulai menurun. Komunikasi dakwah yang efektif di Pesantren MQ Tebuireung dan pembinaan akhlak diyakini dapat meningkatkan tingkah laku atau akhlak generasi di Indonesia menjadi lebih baik. Terbukti hasil penelitian di Pesantren MQ Tebuireung dengan tujuan ingin mengetahui pengaruh dan hubungan efektivitas komunikasi dakwah dan pembinaan akhlak terhadap akhlak santri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melaui survei dengan teknik sampel stratifikasi proporsional terhadap santri di Pesantren MQ Tebuirung berjumlah 172 santri.
