Modern distributed service-oriented networks are presented as complex heterogeneous systems, most of which are currently based on so-called cloud technologies. Cloud service systems were analyzed as an alternative to business customers purchasing their own powerful computing systems, software, and storage technologies. The principle of sharing these resources based on their virtualization was proposed. The impact of these factors on the environment can be reduced by using alternative fuels, which are non-fossil fuels, or by modifying these fuels to ensure lower emissions. One of the methods for reducing emissions from engines is the use of water fuel emulsion as fuel, which has a particularly positive effect on the emission of nitrogen oxides at high loads of drive and power units. An important issue affecting the possibility of using this fuel type is the impact of their use on the elements of the units in contact with fuel containing water and, optionally, an emulsifier. This paper presents inspection results of the hot section of a miniature gas turbine powered by Jet-A1 aviation fuel with the emulsifier addition. The aim of the research was to estimate the flow of the fuel stream through the fuel filter chamber with its external unsealing. The research was carried out using experimental methods and computer CFD modelling. Experimental studies were carried out on a specially designed test stand. During the tests, the flow rate of the fuel stream flowing out to the environment was changed. Numerical calculations allowed to obtain the values of the stream and pressure inside the leaky filter chamber. The results of numerical calculations were compared with the results of experimental measurements. The CFD method significantly supplemented the information on the fuel flow inside the considered filter chamber at its external unsealing. Then, the method of building predic-tive models was characterized and the elements of ammunition were indicated, the test results of which were prepared for the building of models, and the types of ammunition in which the propellant charge is present were indicated. The results of building four data mining models are presented. Predictive models for C&RT, CHAID and exhaustive CHAID decision trees were designed and built. The fourth model analyzed was the SANN model, i.e. the model of neural networks. For each of the tree models, a schema of the designed tree, the rate of false predictions and the parameters of goodness of fit of the built models are shown. For the SANN model, the parameters of the selected neural network were addi-tionally characterized. An analysis of the built models was made and, based on the ob-tained results, the best designed predictive data mining model was indicated. It has high efficiency when crossing regulated channels of large European Lowland rivers with stable hydrological conditions. In the case of unregulated rivers of the Polish Lowlands, this concept needs to be modified due to the high variability of water levels and the shape of the river bottom. This paper presents a new approach to crossing the channels of large lowland rivers by heavy vehicles. Based on validation, conducted with use of professional TLS, iPhone 13 Pro LiDAR scanner usefulness was proved for inspections that dont need high accuracy. Tested iPhone 13 Pro LiDAR scanner measures up to 5m with accuracy class 2,5. A simulation of a vehicles acceleration in various road conditions but without a drivers control has been taken into account. The main aim of this paper was to answer the question whether the random road conditions could affect the vehicle while accelerating while a driver cannot control the direction of its motion. The three various maximum amplitudes of the irregularities for both the dry and the icy road surface were used. Almost different road profiles were also adopted for the analyzed maneuver, which defines a specific coefficient. Apart from no control of the vehicle the initial speed was set to 5 km/h and after 1 s the vehicle started to accelerate. The time of reaching the full throttle (100%) was only 0.25 s which provided a rapid acceleration. Frąckowiak","doi":"10.5604/01.3001.0016.3240","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5604/01.3001.0016.3240","url":null,"abstract":"The solution proposed in this article, based on direct injection of hydrogen into the combustion chamber, offers many benefits, including a better volumetric efficiency, complete combustion (avoidance of premature ignition and backfire) and significant benefits in terms of power density when compared to engines, in which hydrogen is injected into the air inlet duct. The article discusses advantages and disadvantages of systems responsible for injecting hydrogen into the combustion chamber based on the operational phases of the GTM 400 engine developed by the JET-POL Company. The use of an electronic controller combined with an injector placed in an appropriate place inside the combustion chamber allow for the mentioned engine to be modified this way to optimize its power, performance and emissions. The article discusses matters related to challenges faced by materials used to make components of hydrogen injectors as well as research on the topic in question with the use of diesel engines. The article considers the impact of a low mass density and hydrogen energy, high speed of sound and low thickness on the injection system and components of a miniature turbojet engine. Physical attributes shaped by hydrogen fuel directly affect the size of components, selection of materials and tribology of turbojet engines. In the studies conducted over the longer term than provided for in the applicable standards, the impact of these operating fluids on the durability of C 30/37 concrete composed with the use of basalt and granite aggregate was determined. The tests showed that the discussed operating fluids have a destructive effect on airfield runway concrete to a varying degree. Special attention is paid to the benefits of using liquid hydrogen (LH2) to power aircraft engines. A comparison of LH2 to other fuels is presented, as well as a comparison of LH2 hazard to hazard imposed by typical jet fuel. Major attention is focused on the combustion of hydrogen benefits in turbine engines with classic deflagrative combustion chamber and engines utilizing detonative combustion of the hydrogen-air mixture.
