This study aimed to replicate a real flight of the MiG-29 aircraft using a centrifuge-based dynamic flight simulator and to determine the simulator’s accuracy in recreating in-flight aircraft performance. A 60-second recording of the real flight of the MiG-29 aircraft, captured by the flight data recorder, was chosen for replication in the HTC-07 human training centrifuge simulator. To evaluate how accurately the simulator replicates the performance of the aircraft, the linear accelerations and angular velocities acting on a pilot during the real flight were compared with those during the replication of that flight in the simulator. The fit of these parameters was assessed using the root mean square percentage error (RMSPE) and the correlation coefficient (r). The highest replication accuracy was achieved for the vertical component of the linear acceleration (RMSPE=2068; r=0.98), while the worst result was obtained for the longitudinal component (RMSPE=14205; r=0.31). Inaccuracies were much more pronounced for the angular velocity. The roll angular velocity had the lowest replication error (RMSPE=12640). However, its correlation with the recorded velocity during the real flight was very weak (r=-0.02). The article also includes composites’ characteristics and properties, underlining their benefits and deficiencies. New aircraft and helicopter subassembly designs were demonstrated, and an increased use of polymer composites in civil and military aviation was mentioned. In addition, the application of composites used for the soldier’s protection in the form of elastic composite west, helmet against microwave radiation was depicted, as well as the soldier’s exoskeleton to facilitate operations on the field. Corrosion protection of these systems is crucial for their long-term and failure-free operation. In the case of working mediums based on glycols, corrosion protection is provided by anti-corrosion additives, which are the component of antifreeze. The defence mechanism consists in the interaction of these additives with metal surfaces, with whom they contact by creating durable and efficient layers separating their surfaces from aggressive environmental factors. Observation of the structure of protective layers and corrosion micro changes was possible due to the application of microscopic imaging. The main building material in heat exchangers is copper. Air transport is one of the safest means of transport. This is the result of continuous activities aimed at eliminating sources of potential threats in all areas related to the performance of aviation operations. The key role in this respect belongs to the aircraft manufacturer. He is responsible for the design and construction of a newly built aircraft or helicopter and for its production process. He is responsible for supervising the operation. The article defines the sources of potential threats to the safety of air operations that lie within the manufacturer's competence. They include e.g. errors in design and construction, manufacturing defects, improper conduct of tests and proof tests, errors and deficiencies in the descriptive and operational documentation and training programs, as well as insufficient supervision over the operation process. The article discusses the potential sources of threats related to the design and construction phase of the aircraft, and also presents examples of errors and omissions in this field. The conclusions contained in the article are the result of the author's analysis of over 250 dangerous events that have taken place in modern commercial aviation. This project is related to the ongoing research and development works on the description of the reliability of action. It quoted a short story on the invention of the 3D printer and the development of printing technology. The significance of knowledge of the materials employed in 3D printing is discussed in the further part. To this end, the authors reviewed selected strength-related tests (tensile strength, in particular), to determine their application possibilities. Test samples were prepared based on a Polish standard and the material provided by two manufacturers. The tests were conducted using a Zwick Roell Z100 machine. The obtained results were presented as graphs. The aim of this paper was to analyze the results and compare them with the ones obtained in the previous paper by the author, also prepared for the acceleration maneuver. At the same time considerations on the damaging effect of the road irregularities have been presented as this time no straightforward steering was included, so the vehicle could move freely. The simulated braking of the vehicle’s model started at the speed of 100 km/h and its duration was 10 s.As in the previous paper the random road irregularities had three different amplitudes which enabled analysis of vehicle’s deceleration on a different road conditions each time. One is a fuel-water emulsion, which has a particularly positive effect on NOx emissions. The article presents tests carried out on a fuel-water emulsion containing from 3% to 15% water and from 1% to 3% emulsifier, aiming to determine the microscopic properties of the developed emulsion.
