Cervical cancer, still in the second position of malignancy after breast cancer, is estimated, cervical cancer affects as many as 500,000 women each year. In Indonesia, there were 14,368 cases of cervical cancer in 2019, 7,297 (50%) of that number died, and the prevalence of cervical cancer cases was 10,823 people per year. Cervical cancer cases in Indonesia are exacerbated by the number of cases nearly 70% are known and come to health workers or health facilities at an advanced stage. The majority of women diagnosed with cervical cancer usually do not do early detection (screening), some do not follow up on examinations or treatment after finding abnormal results. Purpose. PKM activities increase public knowledge, in this case the mother, as well as participate in the IVA test so that it is detected early using the IVA test. Method. The activity begins with coordination with the Muara Public Health Center and coordinating midwives, the Village Head, Village Midwives and Cadres regarding socialization, counseling and the implementation of the IVA Test as a strategy to get participants. Result. The results obtained were 66 women of childbearing age regardless of age up to the age of 45 who had participated in the examination. The results of the examination were suspected by 14 people (21.21%) and negative as many as 52 people (78.78%). Conclusion. The knowledge of women of childbearing age about the IVA Test is still lacking, there are even women of childbearing age who are not present to take the IVA Test, even though the counseling is present. Knowledge of the IVA Test still needs to be followed up, so that women of childbearing age have their own awareness, as early detection of cervical cancer, thereby reducing the rate of maternal mortality.","PeriodicalId":341786,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Wahana Usada","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125827471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Efforts to decrease of MMR can be done by ensuring that every mother can access quality health services for pregnant women because every pregnancy has the risk of complications. Integrated antenatal services are carried out including health counseling, antenatal care, case management and follow-up, preparation for delivery and planning for referrals in case of pregnancy. In the initial research conducted in Hutaginjang Village, Muara, there were still pregnant women who did not have their pregnancy checked according to the minimum pregnancy standards. Purpose: Screening and pregnancy risk factors is indispensable for early pregnancy and the potential for emergency pregnancy. Methods: Activities carried out by integrated and free pregnancy examinations for pregnant women include measuring weight / height and arm circumference, vital signs, physical examination, Hb examination, urine protein and glucose, provision of IEC about nutritional fulfillment, overcoming complaints of pregnant women in trimester IIII, preparation for delivery and administration of iron supplements as well as preparation for referrals for mothers who experience complications in their pregnancy. Results: The activity was carried out without any obstacles, with 18 mothers having their pregnancies checked. The results of the examination found several risk factors for pregnancy, namely age under 20 years and above 35 years of parity, history of delivery by sectio, height below 145 cm, anemia, preeclampsia, breech location, hyperemesia gravidarum, gestational diabetes and gemelli pregnancy. Each mother received communication, information and education related to maintaining and improving health during pregnancy and giving iron tablets. Conclusion: Screening and control of pregnancy risk factors is needed to detect early whether the pregnancy is at risk and has the potential for emergency pregnancy, so that the mother can pass her pregnancy well and give birth to a healthy baby.","PeriodicalId":341786,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Wahana Usada","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125245948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objectives of health education include having skills in maintenance, assistance and health care, having healthy living habits, and applying the principles of disease prevention (Budiono and Sulistyowati, 2014). Method: Before the implementation of the activity, the number of students involved amounted to 40 people, while the selection of students based on grade 8 and grade 9 would be selected again after getting extension activities and transforming as a UKS cadre. Activity Methods Used (1) Lecture and Demonstration Methods to discuss General Knowledge about School Health Enterprises (UKS), the role and participation of students in UKS activities, Efforts to Encourage, (2) Learning Methods Used to Transfer Assistance or Skills from the Value System Owned resource person to students. As a guest speaker providing health examination exercises for special UKS cadre students consisting of general physical examination and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse and breathing). Results: The results of the data collection obtained for SMP did not have its own UKS room, but it was still combined with the primary school room which was still in the same building. Schools do not have UKS cadres and have never done UKS program activities. The level of student knowledge related to UKS is also very low. Conclusion: the level of student knowledge after counseling was found as many as 36 (86%) people have good knowledge and 6 people (14%) have enough knowledge. This shows that the provision of counseling and training can increase student knowledge.
