A special class of these systems is the jerk system, which is easy and simple to achieve. In this paper, we present the physical implementation of a multi-scroll system in ℝ3. The system is simulated in Simulink and implemented in an electronic circuit. The solution of the ordinary differential equations is represented by the voltage of the physical solution of the implemented system. The experimental tests are compared against the numerical simulation and that of the implemented circuit.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124510683","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The increasing availability of data from SCADA control rooms and synchrophasor systems has opened the opportunity for the development of purely data-based inertia estimation methods. The identified inertia, independent of the method, seems to be poorly related with net load. This work presents the existence of this phenomenon in different electrical systems and looks for reasons for its existence. Through simulations, preliminary results are shown, showing the inertial relationship with the net load in the Chilean power system and the influence of the economic operation on the identified inertia value.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115107137","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, it is proposed to use the technique of decoupling the control loops to tune each of them independently. An evolutionary algorithm was used as optimizer, specifically of differential evolution, for its practicality and effectiveness. For the analysis phase of the possible solutions, the Pareto front representation is used in conjunction with the calculation of the area as a function of the Nadir to discriminate a subset of optimal solutions. The work does not focus on analyzing different controller structures for the quadruple tank system, but rather, given a control configuration, analyzing how to maximize the possibilities of this structure to meet objectives that are contrary and were proposed in the design parameters. One of the advantages of using multi-criteria techniques is the ease of analyzing the conflicts between the objectives of the problem, making it possible to select an appropriate response solution according to the designer's criteria, taking the whole solution set as a reference.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":" 35","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120831109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An investigation of the protection system of the feeders of a determined substation of the national interconnected system of the Administración Nacional de Electricidad (ANDE) has been proposed, according to the protection philosophies and criteria of adjustments of the feeder protection equipment, according to the characteristics of the system and the role of protection equipment, in order to improve the reliability of the system. A field investigation has been carried out in the electrical protection sector of the national interconnected system and area of focus in the distribution concessionaire. The research was carried out between February 2019 and October 2020, in Asunción and the metropolitan area. Through technical visits for data collection, it has been verified that the Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) used are not used to their maximum potential, being able to expand their protection capacity, making a more appropriate use of all the functions for the protection of the feeders, guaranteeing the continuity of the service. It has been proposed to adjust the IEDs as much as possible to enable the new observed functions, which complement the protection of the feeder. Finally, with the technical and financial evaluation of the project, it has been confirmed that its implementation is feasible. As recommendations, make adjustments to the IEDs of the ANDE protection system that have these new functions, and as a last resort, renew the protection relays that do not have them.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129138555","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But like other polymers, it has some disadvantages, so TiO2 was added as a filler to improve some SIR properties, such as electrical and performance properties, and increasing the dielectric strength. Six SIR samples were prepared with TIO2 filler at percentages (100: 0, 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40, and 50:50) %. Dielectric strength tests were performed. To obtain the most accurate and best results, the Supply demand- based optimization (SDO) algorithm was performed that is one of the modem methods similar to the mechanism of supply and demand in the economy. The obtained results of the proposed SDO technique is compared with the recent Movable damped wave algorithm (MDWA). The SDO technique was a fast and effective algorithm at finding the optimum values of the percentage of SIR/TiO2 fillers parameter under different conditions comparing with the MDWA algorithm. Eventually, the dielectric strength improved with increasing TiO2 content and the best filler sample according to this principle 60/40% SIR/ TiO2 filler sample as the dielectric increased by approximately 43.72% KV/mm.","PeriodicalId":340976,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE CHILEAN Conference on Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies (CHILECON)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130242878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At this point, the physical layer mechanisms ACM may not adapt modulation and error correction coding in time; residual errors cause packet losses at the upper layer that can be recovered with RLNC network coding. Thanks to RLNC coding algorithms in erasure channels, redundancy can be injected into packet transport, allowing receivers to recover quickly from packet loss, avoiding the costly RTT round-trip times incurred by relying on the traditional acknowledgment-based scheme.
