Calculations to determine the number of samples used the Slovin system. Data collection became completed by means of distributing questionnaires through Google Form and analyzed the usage of Partial Least Square (PLS). The research results show that cashless transactions have not been able to reduce the amount of cash needed by generation Z or Semarang State University students. So it has not been possible to reduce the amount of cash circulated indirectly.","PeriodicalId":340929,"journal":{"name":"Economic Education Analysis Journal","volume":"56 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139286133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Critical thinking involves the ability to objectively analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information. It allows students to make good decisions, recognize strong or weak arguments, and identify weaknesses in their own thinking. Critical thinking skills also help students be critical of information sources, avoid superficial thinking, and face challenges with creative problem solving. In today's information age, critical thinking enables students to become self-reliant, informed, and skilled individuals in the face of the changes and complexities of the modern world. Implementing monotonous learning without considering active student participation is one of the causes of low critical thinking abilities among students. This study aims to enhance students' critical thinking abilities through project-based learning. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method. The research design used a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The study subjects were students from class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA of SMA Negeri 5 Kota Sukabumi and SMAN 1 Sukaraja. The research results, obtained through the t-test, yielded a significance value of 0.007. This means that applied project-based learning can enhance students' critical thinking abilities.","PeriodicalId":340929,"journal":{"name":"Economic Education Analysis Journal","volume":"108 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139311033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The population in this study were tourists who were travelling or had travelled to the Ijen Blue Fire Crater. The population in this study is infinite because valid data was not obtained. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling method with 150 respondents. The analytical tool used in the research is SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4 software. The research results prove that tourists' perceptions have a positive and significant effect on the memory tourism experience, and the memory tourism experience has a positive and significant impact on the destination's competitiveness. The urgency of this study is an essential experience for tourists in determining their desire to visit a destination repeatedly. The development was carried out using the 4D development model from Thiagarajan which was carried out in full, namely definition, design, development and deployment. Data in this study were collected using questionnaires and tests and analyzed using descriptive analysis of proportions and t test (paired-samples t test). The results showed that overall the average proportion of eligibility for open books was very feasible. This shows that the developed textbook has valid criteria and is feasible to use. Based on the results of the t test (paired-samples t test) it is known that there are differences in motivation and student learning outcomes before and after being given treatment in the form of accounting textbooks based on learning style differentiation which indicates that textbooks have an effective effect.","PeriodicalId":340929,"journal":{"name":"Economic Education Analysis Journal","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139311322","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study asked whether opportunities provided in economics textbooks improve learners’ performance in Dynamics of Market. Following a Content Analysis approach, three OTL variables; Content organization, Content coverage and Tasks were used as the theoretical framework to couch this study. One of the findings was that Less High-Order tasks were found in both textbooks hence do not develop learners’ Higher order Cognitive skills. The overall study showed that the analysed economics textbooks do not offer enough OTL Dynamics of Market. This study is significant because it helps both educators and policy makers to explore more on ‘must-have features’ of economics textbook before it could be prescribed for use. It makes contribution to international literature on textbook analysis in the field of economics education, this is rare in economics education studies. It is recommended that Higher order tasks should be included in future editions of the Grade 10 economics textbooks thus, suggesting the need to analyse economics textbooks in high schools for effective learning. Although the study analysed specific textbooks, its findings shed light on how learning opportunities relate to performance more generally.","PeriodicalId":340929,"journal":{"name":"Economic Education Analysis Journal","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139360963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
