Price is very influential on competition in a business. The price of a product is one of the things that influences buyers to want to buy a product or not; therefore, price is very important to determine. There are two objectives in this study; the first objective is to predict the right iron price to be used in the following year so that it can be used to increase the competitiveness of the company. The second objective is to determine the attributes that affect the price. This research uses a linear regression algorithm to predict prices and measure the attributes' relationship using the RapidMiner tool. RapidMiner is software that functions as a learning tool in data mining science in which various data processing models are ready to be used easily. From the test results on the training data, an accuracy value of 95% was obtained with a threshold value of 30, which stated that the results were accurate. Then, the factors that affect the price produce factors from the size variable (mm) and unit (kg); between the two variables that affect the price, there are results from the variables that most affect the price, namely size (mm). For the performance of the linear regression model calculated using the root mean square error (RMSE) produces a value of 199,291.","PeriodicalId":34046,"journal":{"name":"Sinkron","volume":"23 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140359919","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Irregularity in doing Exercise can hurt the body and health, especially if it is not done according to one's physical capacity. In the framework of this research, we developed a Recommender System that aims to provide exercise suggestions according to the user's preferences, especially in the categories of cycling, running, walking, and horse riding. The primary considerations of the variables include heart rate (Average Heart Rate) and pace (Speed Rate). This research approach uses the FitRec Dataset and applies the K-Mean Clustering Algorithm, with the support of APACHE SPARK, for large-scale data processing, given the large data size in the FitRec dataset. Grouping is done using the FitRec dataset and K-Mean. Users are grouped according to heart rate and pace information; this provides appropriate Exercise for users. The test results show that the proposed system performs well, as indicated by the silhouette score = 0.596, calinzski-harabaz score = 2133.09, and davies bouldin score = 0.480. These test metrics reflect the system's ability to cluster. Indirectly, the accuracy performance of the system is assessed through these metrics, showing good accuracy test results.","PeriodicalId":34046,"journal":{"name":"Sinkron","volume":"11 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139616876","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to educate the public about the importance of understanding the condition of their bodies, especially the most vulnerable teeth. Lack of time to consult an expert leads to this disease being neglected. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a consultation application in the form of an expert system. The built system adopts the deterministic factor method. The certainty factor works by reading the entire data submitted by the expert and giving the result as a percentage of confidence that the patient has gingivitis. The experts used in this system are dental experts. Data obtained from direct experts and consultations resulted in new knowledge in the form of the percentage of trust patients suffering from gingivitis. The data collected are symptoms and solutions obtained from experts. This research provides a new service for patients suffering from gingivitis without the need to see a specialist directly. Based on the testing data provided to the patient and based on the patient's condition at that time, the test results of the system reached a confidence level of 98.74%.
