The second millennium of Croatia began with deindustrialization, both due to the extinction of large state-owned industrial losers and due to transformation and privatization, where the interest of capital was in the financial and tourism sectors. This does not mean that FDI was not present, but the expected greenfield investments were missing, especially after joining the EU. To what extent FDI has influenced the increase in carbon emissions is the subject of research in this paper.","PeriodicalId":340365,"journal":{"name":"Journal of process management and new technologies","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125524124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Big data is utilized to appraise the requirements of the shared transport structure, by focusing on funding and portability plans inside the key cities. The research provides a recommendation-making system (RMS) focused on suggesting transport methods to automobile consumption by detailing a huge volume of transport methods information originating from various products. The research focuses on the utilization of big data to come down with shared transport, and presents a structural understanding for gathering, combining, aggregating, incorporating, disseminating, and controlling information from numerous origins. Information extraction methods are utilized, allowing the evaluation of both organized big data, that follows developed benchmarks like CRISP-DM, and disorganized, readily offered big data. Investigational information has been gathered from a representative of phones and automatic vehicle location devices in the region. The suggested RMS allowed to examine the temporal and spatial scope of shared transport facilities, and suggested plans to enhance the transportation.","PeriodicalId":340365,"journal":{"name":"Journal of process management and new technologies","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132494506","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the typical triangle criteria used to assess the performance of any office building project is quality. However, office projects in Vietnam have faced numerous quality risks, particularly during their construction periods. This can cause the building projects behind schedule and over budget. As a result, identifying quality risk factors throughout the construction phase of office projects is essential. Therefore, this paper has applied the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to prioritize critical risk factors affecting project quality during the construction phase of the Biconsi Tower project in Vietnam. The research results showed that the five top risk factors affecting the quality of the Biconsi Tower project with decreasing impact levels are as follows: (1) Inspection and acceptance work are not in accordance with regulations and procedures, (2) Lack of coordination between project stakeholders; (3) Poor quality design documents and drawings; (4) Poor construction methods; and (5) Poor quality input materials.","PeriodicalId":340365,"journal":{"name":"Journal of process management and new technologies","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128719776","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to define the criteria that logistics companies consider when selecting a vehicle tracking system, as well as the relative importance of these criteria. PIPRECIA-S, a multi-criteria decision analysis method, was used in this context. According to the analysis results, the most important criterion in the selection of a vehicle tracking system is real-time tracking of the vehicle's location. When it comes to selecting a vehicle tracking system, logistics firms should prioritize instant vehicle tracking, compliance with local rules, compatibility with new technologies and software, quality certification, and compatibility with external systems-devices over other criteria. Other important criteria to consider when selecting a vehicle tracking system are system maintenance and technical support, providing statistical data collection and effective reporting, allowing the vehicle to be diverted, comprehension, simplicity of implementation and visual geo-information presentation for users, design and quality of hardware, system cost, communication infrastructure, and reducing the operating costs of companies. Also, when developing vehicle tracking systems, system developers can prioritize the aforementioned criteria.","PeriodicalId":340365,"journal":{"name":"Journal of process management and new technologies","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125575942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, we know from experience that searching a website is time-consuming or even inaccurate, and the functionality of the information system is limited. Chatbot makes it more natural, efficient and faster. Chatbot can understand natural language, i.e. written text and voice messages. It gives precise answers and performs all actions intended by the website and / or the information system. But the website and the information system do not have the richness of language that the chatbot has. You have to log in to the information system and know how to use it, and each new version requires new learning. If you know how Viber or FB Messenger work, you probably know how to use chatbot. The services provided by chatbot are visible on communication platforms used by a large number of users, and thus the quality of these services is better. Due to the use of chats, the human resources of the educational institution are redirected/retrained to more responsible and creative jobs because the workload has been relieved. The paper presents a chatbot called ADA, developed at the Belgrade Business and Arts Academy of Applied Studies (BAPUSS), and shows basic usage statistics. It also points out the importance of chatbots as a communication channel in educational institutions.","PeriodicalId":340365,"journal":{"name":"Journal of process management and new technologies","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121610039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, geopolitical risks (GPR) and global economic and political uncertainties (WUI) can significantly affect financial markets and investor behavior. In this study, the effects of GPR and WUI on stock markets for 10 developing Asian countries were investigated for 2001:M07-2020:M12 period. Cross-section dependency was examined with LM, and tests, series stationarity with Hadri and Kurozumi (2012) test, cointegration relations with Westerlund (2006) cointegration with multiple structural breaks method, and regression analyzes with Eberhardt and Bond (2009) method. It was determined that high GPR decreases the stock market index in Turkey, Korea, Russia, Indonesia and Malaysia, whereas it increases in India, Thailand and Philippines. It was found that high WUI decreases the stock market index in Korea, China, Indonesia and Thailand, whereas it increases in Turkey, India and Malaysia. On the other hand, while the stock market returns of the change in GPR decreases the stock market returns in Turkey, Korea, Russia, Indonesia and Malaysia, it increases in India, Thailand and Philippines. It has been determined that change in WUI decreases the stock return in Korea, China, Indonesia and Thailand, and it increases in Turkey, India and Malaysia. It was also observed that changes in GPR increases the volatility of the stock markets in India, Thailand and Philippines, and it decreases in Turkey, S. Korea, Russia, Indonesia and Malaysia. While the effects of change in WUI increases stock market volatility in Turkey and Malaysia, it decreases in Korea, China, Indonesia and Thailand. As the results achieved are heterogeneous, investors should avoid a basket trading strategy in these countries. Country-specific causality test was carried out with the Konya (2006) method, and it was observed that there are causal relationships between high WUI and stock market index, high WUI and stock market return in Turkey. Similarly, causal relationships were determined between high WUI and stock market index in India, between change in WUI and stock market index volatility in Philippines, between high GPR and stock market index, change in GPR and stock market return in Hong Kong. Causal relationships for all countries in the panel were examined using the Dumitrescu and Hurlin (2012) method, and causality was only found between high WUI and stock market index.","PeriodicalId":340365,"journal":{"name":"Journal of process management and new technologies","volume":"80 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123208921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through a series of activities, managers can increase individual development needs, making the objective situation more demanding. Through the example of the generation we paid attention to, Generation Y (1981 - 2000) is often called Millennials and Generation Z, which enters the labor market as the youngest, after millennials. The task of human resource managers is to make each member feel involved in organizational culture in the right way and to feel valued. Therefore, a multicriteria approach based on the application of PIvot has been applied in this paper Pair-wise Relative Criteria Importance Assessment - PIPRECIA method. A detailed review of the literature defines a list of factors and relevant subfactors evaluated by three Generation Y decision-makers and three Generation Z decision-makers. It provides businesses with optimized production, personalization and improvement in the way production is dispersed. Nevertheless, conflicts arise in the use of these methods in certain industries, like retail items, which usually basis on large-scale production and prolonged supply chain. The study develops a theoretical structure to investigate if big data coupled with different production solutions can provide for a dispersed production system. Through investigation of twenty-one buyer products business instances applying secondary and main data, the study investigated changing production processes, the inherent catalyst, the function of analytics, and its effect on distributed production. The study discovers several uses of distributed manufacturing principles to evaluate the current production processes worked for larger customer product solutions by using analytics and industry analysis. The evaluation’s suggested structure mentioned in this research has a deeper impact on planning, comprehension relationships, among factors of data analytics and distributed production.","PeriodicalId":340365,"journal":{"name":"Journal of process management and new technologies","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117315356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Management has an important role with its supporting structures (finance and human resources) in every economy and business of the organization. Managing communal police is a difficult and demanding job, which requires a lot of knowledge, skills, understanding and experience in working with people. In practice as well as scientific research on work, it has been shown that joint work is always more efficient and effective than individual work. Numerous management theories have contributed, each in its own way, to improving the understanding of the factors that affect the efficiency of the organization as well as the motivation and satisfaction of employees on whom business efficiency directly depends. Since the work of communal police officers is work in pairs or in groups, the important role of the manager is to organize communal police officers and focus on solving the set tasks. As far as the authors know, there is no research regarding management process of the communal police in Serbia, therefore, the main goal of the paper is to present the management process of the communal police of the City of Zaječar.","PeriodicalId":340365,"journal":{"name":"Journal of process management and new technologies","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127818446","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
