They are composite and interacting bosons which can condense dynamically in a single-particle ground state via stimulated scattering. The formation of exciton-polaritons under electrical pumping has been demonstrated in quasi two dimensional systems [1-3]. In this work, we discuss the non-linear polariton emission caused by stimulated scattering in micropillar cavities under electrical pumping [4]. We distinguish our polariton laser from a conventional cavity mediated laser by probing it in a magnetic field. After the analysis of effects of dispersion and losses on the linear complex modes, we calculate and discuss the nonlinear modes presented through the dependence of the modal power on the propagation constant. These are among the most complex spatiotemporal solitary waves observed in an experiment. They are characterized by a complex interplay of angular orbital momentum and nonlinear, spatiotemporal effects. We show that Vortex Light Bullets exhibit a new mode of stability and show that they are robust under realistic experimental conditions. This unique ability makes these nanostructures excellent tools to study and manipulate light-matter interaction at the nanoscale. The theory of switching and forming of localized and delocalized waves in the annular system of coupled waveguides was developed. We first studied the localization of waves in nonlinear defective waveguide. It was shown that the degree of localization increases with increasing nonlinearity coefficient or intensity of input emission in defective waveguide. An effect of defective waveguide screening from neighboring zero-defect waveguides was found.
