SLBN Cinta Asih Soreang in collaboration with the Politeknik Negeri Bandung Community Service prgram since 2021 has developed a student report card desktop application.This application has been run and successfully implemented, but not all devices are compatible to run the application. In addition, filling out reports can only be done at school because the desktop application storage can only be stored in a local area. In order to overcome these problems, it is necessary to develop an online-based system for digitizing student achievement reports. The proposed solution is the development of a Web-based online application for an information system for student progress report cards at SLBN Cinta Asih Soreang. The result reveals that more than 90% of participants feel this application is useful and can be utilized in the future.","PeriodicalId":339204,"journal":{"name":"REKA ELKOMIKA: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125178012","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of its pillars is the development of Indonesian human resources along with the mastery of science and technology. To realize this vision, superior human resources possessing creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills are needed. The right method in character building is the development of potential skills from early age with the help of the world of education. One of the formal educational institutions building students’ characters to be skillful and competitive workforce, and developing entrepreneurial skills from an early age is vocational high school (SMK). Therefore, introduction of programming using Scratch to students of SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru is a learning method that is expected to develop the desired HR characters. Moreover, simple game creation training using Scratch can provide an overview of the use of simple coding as an introduction to how technology works. The activities were carried out in 4 method models, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The success rate of this activity is measured based on the results of score comparison between pre-test and post-test. The post-test results showed an increase of 96.67% compared to the participants’ initial understanding.","PeriodicalId":339204,"journal":{"name":"REKA ELKOMIKA: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128180447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All tiers of society must support the government's efforts to ensure the stability of the nation's energy supply through initiatives to boost supply and conserve energy. The public, particularly the lower middle class, do not yet understand the existing technology well; the information of its benefits and drawbacks have not been equally spread. Energy researchers and experts assert that the domestic or household sector's contribution to the attempt to cut power usage is very significant due to the comparatively high share of residential consumers. A project must be carried out to provide counseling in the form of instruction on cost savings when utilizing electrical and electronic gadgets in homes and schools. The counseling results revealed that the teachers of SDN 09 Pontianak Timur were genuinely interested in what they were hearing and in the presented curriculum. Through the counseling technique it is observed that the community is becoming more conscious of the need to utilize electrical energy more intelligently and is gaining new insights into how to do so. These insights help the community promoting energy efficiency in daily life.","PeriodicalId":339204,"journal":{"name":"REKA ELKOMIKA: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130524961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in practice, the limitations of information technology-based services in both STTs make it very difficult to see the unavailability of IT personnel. For example, the need to coordinate with each other is not documented in meeting minutes until the existence of the Pddikti feeder application, which has turned into a Neofeeder through monthly updates and a SISTER service for BKD services for each lecturer. In some developed countries, the two skills have been included in elementary school curriculum. However, the situation is different in the context of Indonesia since teachers or instructors who are able to provide these skills are inadequate. Therefore, this training was intended to socialize and educate the application of coding and computational thinking, especially to elementary school teachers so that they have the ability to equip their students with those skills. The participants of this training were teachers of Labschool UPI Purwakarta. The training was conducted in one day containing the concepts and practices of ICT and computational thinking as well as coding for kids. The result of satisfaction questionnaire distributed to the participants after the training shows a good level of satisfaction in terms of training materials, delivery of materials, and the usefulness of activities as much as 71,4%, 57,1% and 92,9% consecutively. The teachers hope that follow-up trainings are carried out to increase their knowledge and ability in developing technology-based learning.","PeriodicalId":339204,"journal":{"name":"REKA ELKOMIKA: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131569707","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
