This research is important because the spread of the virus is very fast, widespread and mass causes cases to increase and have an impact not only on physical but also psychological conditions, causing mental health problems. Various efforts have been made by the government to combat the epidemic, community participation involving individuals, families and community groups is urgently needed to solve this problem. The purpose of this study was to identify mental health problems experienced by health workers due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to develop a model for early detection of mental health problems. This research method uses a quantitative approach with three stages of research. The first research stage is the exploration of mental health problems experienced by health workers. The second stage is developing a model for early detection of mental health problems and providing mental health and psychosocial support. The third stage is the use of early detection models in handling mental health problems for health workers. The method of data collection was carried out using a Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ) questionnaire and the implementation of Habit Adaptation met the criteria. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. Data was obtained using a questionnaire and analized by the paired t test. The results showed that there was a difference between pre-test and post-test, meaning that that interventions are effective in addressing physical and psychosocial health problems.","PeriodicalId":339162,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal of Global Health Research","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123361213","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of community empowerment in Islamic boarding schools in the poskestren environment. This study uses qualitative analysis methods, with 10 subjects. This research was carried out at the An-Nur Ngrungkem Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta. The instruments used were camera, interview and observation guidelines. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The validity test used is source and technique triangulation and data analysis uses thematic analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion, it shows that there is an influence on leadership, potential, participation and knowledge of the Islamic boarding school community. The leadership has carried out the duties and functions of leadership such as controlling, monitoring, motivating, developing, public relations and decision makers. The potential and participation of the leader has been running as its function, while the potential of the students has already become husada students and as poskestren funders. Regarding the knowledge of the pesantren community, it needs to be improved, especially about PHBS. Poskestren will run well according to its function depending on the active role of the effectiveness of empowering the pesantren community.","PeriodicalId":339162,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal of Global Health Research","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129127386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Infection prevention and control during the pandemic is very important for patients and health workers to minimize the occurrence of nosocomial infections during hospital care. This review aims to determine the development of infection prevention and control program in the provision of nursing care during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method with a review was carried out by searching for articles related to patient safety in providing Covid-19 nursing care. Literatures search were carried out in December 2020 - January 2021 through PubMed, Sciencedirec, google scholar, government policy then entered the online database list by entering keywords, namely patient safety, nursing care, Covid-19. Selected journals were based on inclusion and exclusion criteria through a critical assessment process with CASP to assess the quality of articles. The results of the critical appraisal obtained six articles that match the inclusion criteria with a minimum appraisal score of 85 in good categories which are then carried out by analysts. The results of the research by reviewing 6 articles show that prevention and control of patients safety in providing nursing care during a pandemic can be developed through nursing care management by using summarized checklists, patient safety-based nursing care service system, infection prevention and control during the pandemic and inclusive leadership. Nursing care management, patient safety, infection prevention and control and an inclusive leadership style are the development methods that can be used for the prevention and control of Covid-19.","PeriodicalId":339162,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal of Global Health Research","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130541499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The population in this study were pregnant women who had an antenatal care in January 2021 at 3 public health centers that representing Pringsewu Regency, namely the community health center which had the highest moderate, and lowest coverage of Pregnancy visits 1 and 4 visits as many as 122 pregnant women. While the sample in this study was 96 pregnant women. Before the data collection, a questionnaire was tested on 30 respondents. The data analysis in this study is univariate test, bivariate test, and multivariate test. Based on the results of the study, it is known that some of pregnant women in Pringsewu regency have good behaviour, namely 62,5%. The results showed that there were 5 variables that had a significant relationship with the behavior of pragnant women in complication preventif program including knowledge (p value 0,030),attitudes (p value 0,000), availability of infrastructure (p value 0,033), distance to health facilities (p value 0,030) and husband’s support (p value 0,017). The most dominant variable related to the behaviour of pregnant women in complication prevention program is attitude where has the highest OR value of 5,881. In order to inprove the behavior of the community,especially pregnant women in complication prevention program, the Departement of Health needs to empower the community such as implementing the standby village, so that the community is able to independently fulfill the health facilities or infrastructure that are not yet available, namely village ambulances and village blood banks to support the implementation of complication prevention program so as to reduce maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR).","PeriodicalId":339162,"journal":{"name":"Indonesian Journal of Global Health Research","volume":"31 8","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132061109","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
