Carbon from OMC precipitated at pH 13, and ranged from 5.5 to 5.7%, regardless of the particlesizes of applied ameliorant. The optical density (Есg ml -1 ) of OMC solution was 2.7 to 3.1, which is within the range typical forfulvic acids. The total amount of Ca, Mg, Sr washed out from the OMC depended on the size of the ameliorant particles, as well as the content and ratio of alkaline earth metals in it. The smaller the particle size was, the migration losses of Ca, Mg, Sr were higher. The presence of significant amounts of Mg in the ameliorant enhances unproductive loss of the bases. According to the ability to migrate in the OMC, the studied elements can be arranged in the following descending order: Mg> Ca> Sr. Unexpectedly new finding was that not all organic substances migrating in the profile of reclaimed soddy-podzolic soils can precipitate under the conditions of a strongly alkaline reaction of the medium.","PeriodicalId":33795,"journal":{"name":"Zemljiste i biljka","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71218300","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They respond quickly to changes in the soil ecosystem, so they represent good indicators of soil health. In order to improve plant production and proper soil use, we tested the soil quality of natural and indigenous grasslands of the Municipality of Kosjerić. Eleven samples from sown and nineteen soil samples from natural grasslands were analyzed, with chemical properties and total number of microorganisms determined. The majority of soil samples are of acidic chemical reactions, with medium humus and nitrogen content, low phosphorus content and sufficient amounts of potassium. The total number of microorganisms ranged from 5.778 to 6.431 (log of the number) per gram of absolutely dry soil.","PeriodicalId":33795,"journal":{"name":"Zemljiste i biljka","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71218832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Low light intensity had a negative effect on the anatomical structure of the pea leaves and led to the development of thinner leaves compared to the plants grown at full illumination.The results obtained indicate that the thickness of the epidermis of the face and the back, the leaf thickness, the thickness of palisade tissue and the diameter of the conducting bundles decreased with decreasing illumination, while the thickness of the sponge tissue increased with decreasing illumination. The number of stomata both on the face and on the back of the leaves was lower at lower illumination, with the stomata cells being larger in size. The intensity of transpiration decreased with decreasing illumination, which was correlated with the decrease in the number of stomatal cells. The results show that lower light treatment had an inhibitory effect on the photosynthetic pigment content, which indicates the sensitivity of the studied species and raises the question of the level of adaptation and possible diminished yield of the species studied, if grown under poor light","PeriodicalId":33795,"journal":{"name":"Zemljiste i biljka","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"71218660","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
