However, with the implementation of the tracking application by the government, there always be issues related to the personal information and data privacy store in the system, which will make the citizens intent to use the technology or vice-versa. Hence, this study aims to examine the factors influencing the intention to use MySejahtera application among Malaysian citizens. The study utilized Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) Theory to guide the study, where the determinants were performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, and perceived privacy credibility. Purposive sampling was employed in this study, where a quantitative (survey) method was used, in which online questionnaires were distributed to the Malaysian citizens who know or have heard about the MySejahtera tracking application which ultimately with generated 401 valid responses. The data were then analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling through Smart-PLS 3.0. The results revealed that four (4) determinants (social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, and perceived privacy credibility) have a positive and significant relationship with intention to use MySejahtera application. However, performance expectancy and effort expectancy were found not to be significantly related to intention to use the particular tracking application. The study contributes to the media information technology scholarship by incorporated perceived privacy credibility as an important construct to further expand the UTAUT2 Theory in relation to the Internet of Things (IoT), which provide relevant strategies for government agencies, medical and healthcare practitioners to track on the suspected patients. Conclusion, implications, and suggestions for future study were also discussed. © 2021 Journal of Applied Structural Equation Modeling.","PeriodicalId":33617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Applied Structural Equation Modeling","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44034596","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Relying on strengths might mitigate negative mental health outcomes and promote positive mental health. Prior research suggests a potential moderated mediation effect between fear of illness and subjective psychological well-being. Based on the Complete State Model and the Competence-Based Model of mental health, this study examined the relationship between fear of illness and subjective psychological well-being through perceived distress moderated by resilience in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. A cross-sectional survey using questionnaires was employed. Data were collected online from 384 participants ( 270 females and 114 males, age range= 15 to 29 years). The participants had indirect exposure to COVID-19 through information from the media. Results demonstrated that fear of illness significantly predicts subjective psychological well-being both directly and indirectly. In addition, the moderated mediation effect of resilience was confirmed. Resilience moderated the indirect effect between fear of illness and subjective psychological well-being through perceived distress. The magnitude of the indirect effect was contingent on resilience. Further, the effect of perceived distress on subjective psychological well-being is weakened as the level of resilience increases. This study contributes theoretically to a better understanding of the salutogenic effect of resilience on positive mental health during a pandemic. Based on the findings, implications and future directions are discussed.","PeriodicalId":33617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Applied Structural Equation Modeling","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46079977","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, methods for determining relative importance have yet to extend beyond statistical models with a single dependent variable and a limited set of multivariate models. To accommodate multivariate models, the current work proposes shifting away from the concept of independent variable relative importance toward that of parameter estimate relative importance (PERI). This paper illustrates the PERI approach by comparing it to the evaluation of regression slopes and independent variable relative importance (IVRI) statistics to show the interpretive and methodological advantages of the new concept and associated methods. PERI’s advantages above standardized slopes stem from the same fit metric that is used to compute PERI statistics; this makes them more comparable to one another than standardized slopes. PERI’s advantages over IVRI stem from situations where independent variables do not predict all dependent variables; hence, PERI permits importance determination in situations where independent variables are nested in dependent variables they predict. We also provide recommendations for implementing PERI using dominance analysis with statistical models that can be estimated with maximum likelihood estimation combined with a series of model constraints using two examples.","PeriodicalId":33617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Applied Structural Equation Modeling","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45936659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thereby, capturing a share of the consumer income which would promote sustainability. To achieve it, a theory submitted. Within this model, nineteen conceptual relationships were proposed to be contributors in the palm fruit value addition chain. A PLS-SEM technique was used to investigate the validity of these relationships. The primary data used for the investigation was surveyed from extension agents in Edo South agro-ecological zone of Edo State Nigeria. First, the article introduced the term Value Chain Theory. Next, it briefly familiarizes the readers with what structural equation modeling is all about, as well as its applications. Subsequently, the document preview literature on the pathways towards modeling a sustainable smallholder’s palm fruit’s value chain. Afterward, the researcher creates the path model for the drive of the investigation. Following that, the author ensured that the methodological approaches adopted in achieving the investigation were clearly specified. After which the results from the analysis ran were serially outlined and discussed. Last, but not least, the implications for the use of this model was highlighted and conclusion for the study was drawn. Thus, the author commended the robustness of the theory and, afterward, proposed a confirmatory test for the model. It was concluded that the tool exhibits prospects for promoting sustainability in the palm fruit value supply chain if properly adopted.","PeriodicalId":33617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Applied Structural Equation Modeling","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44384813","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PCB refers to organization’s inability in fulfilling obligations contained within the psychological contract, while CWB is defined as conducts that are harmful to organization. With 410 respondents, using Structural Equation Model (SEM), the results had shown that CWB increases as the PCB is heightened. This study adds value to the literature in three ways: PCB being tested among flight attendants; CWB being conceptualized using Hirschman’s Model of EVLN with an extension of acquiescent silence; and the application of Affective Events Theory (AET) in supporting the linkage between PCB and CWB in airline context.","PeriodicalId":33617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Applied Structural Equation Modeling","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45868491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The four dimensions of pay satisfaction are pay benefit satisfaction, pay level satisfaction, pay raise satisfaction,and pay structure and administration satisfaction. Questionnaires were distributed to Malaysians working in several industries. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to assess both the measurement and structural model. Results from the structural model revealed that pay benefit satisfaction, pay raise satisfaction, and pay structure and administration satisfaction were positively related to organisational trust. To complement the standard structural model assessment, robustness checks were performed on the structural model in terms of non-linear effects, endogeneity, and unobserved heterogeneity. The checks concluded that there were no issues with regards to nonlinear effects and unobserved heterogeneity. However, the endogeneity test indicated that pay structure and administration satisfaction could be endogenous. Importance-performance map analysis (IPMA) was also performed to gauge the importance and performance of each dimension of pay satisfaction against organisational trust. The IPMA results revealed that pay structure and administration satisfaction was the most important factor yet it attained the lowest score on performance indicating that organisations in Malaysia should make an improvement to their pay structure and administration satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":33617,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Applied Structural Equation Modeling","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47005965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
