Modern researches at the domain of radiotechnical devices and parts are showing that mean time between failures often is omitting during the brand new device designing process. Purpose of the development is to improve the method of the reliability values evaluation of the objects with variable structure including the different sets of elements working time at all possible usage modes as intended. The set-theoretic models of objects that are allowed to estimate power of element subsets quantitatively used in different modes of operation for the purpose of evaluation the reliability indicators of radio-electronic means depending on the structure of the object and the order of changing modes of operation. With the help of the mathematical apparatus of set theory, it has been proven that the reliability of radio-electronic devices will be maximum at the minimum power of the elements used during operation and vice versa. Methods. Evaluation method is needed to take into account vast majority of the minor aspects that were not included before during the calculation procedures: multi-mode work, multi-functioning, excess availability that leads to the object structure changing during its usage for purpose. Results. Taking the fifth-generation station for the experiment, several detail sets were chosen for installation into the device. Competence of the repair service, quality of the details, work-mode was taken into account for the certain result calculation achieving. Conclusion. Brand new, detailed method has been developed for the effectiveness of the objects with variable structure evaluation. Multimode availability could be a significant reliability improving feature at the devices with such structure. Also, evaluation of some separate parts of the device structure would be much more useful for the working period prolongation than evaluation of the device as a whole.","PeriodicalId":33554,"journal":{"name":"Control Systems and Computers","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42923920","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Lifelong e-learning (LEL) reflects a global view on the possibility of obtaining educational resources, advice, and experience for the purpose of acquiring knowledge and skills, taking into account the individual needs of a particular person. LEL development issues are not tied to a specific organization and are addressed by creating means and tools to support the continuous development of each individual professionally and personally, using learning resources, technologies and strategies that meet the needs and preferences of that individual. Thus, LEL is implemented by means of e-learning, but LEL research, along with the problems of taking into account the previous experience of users and recommending them educational resources that correspond to their cognitive strategies and the context of application, covers the problems of the development of a global network environment supporting lifelong learning, the transformation of the technological basis of educational processes, sharing and protection of personal data. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to identify and explore the main components and models of lifelong e-learning and to develop an integrated structural model of LEL that will be useful for researching its development and ongoing transformations. Methods. A modified structural model for e-learning by B. Khan is proposed as a basis for integral lifelong e-learning model development. Results. The problem of lifelong learning in the digital dimension was analyzed and its main components were determined. To determine whether e-learning model is appropriate for LEL modeling, the distinct features of e-learning and LEL are determined and compared. The specifics of each component transformation in the modified e-learning model and interrelationships between them are determined. Models of technology development are analyzed and examples of e-learning technologies transformation in the context of LEL are provided. Finally, an integral structural model of LEL intended for the analysis of its development is suggested. Conclusion. As a result of the study, it was proved that LEL has its own specific features and is not reduced to a set of e-learning processes that are implemented at each level or life stage. Khan’s modified structural model, which is the basis of LEL modeling, contains redundant components required only for the model of e-learning in the organization. At the same time, the LEL model should contain a new component that represents a collective user, i.e. all LEL user groups that influence its development. The proposed integrated model of LEL provides a generalized structure with a defined direction of interaction (influence) between individual components and thus not only contributes to the understanding of LEL transformations in the past, but also creates a basis for analyzing trends and building forecasts of LEL development in the future.","PeriodicalId":33554,"journal":{"name":"Control Systems and Computers","volume":"56 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67101915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Artemenko, Olena V. Artemenko","doi":"10.15407/csc.2023.02.067","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15407/csc.2023.02.067","url":null,"abstract":"Introduction. The effectiveness of a country’s economic policy can be measured using economic or social criteria that are interconnected and interdependent. Therefore, it is desirable to have a relatively small number of generalizing criteria-indicators (or even better – a single synthetic criterion-indicator) with the help of which it would be possible to measure the effectiveness of state economic policy, but the search for such criteria-indicators continues. The analysis of approaches to solving this problem shows that the priority direction is the use of the concept of quality of life. Purpose. In this work, we aim to analyze the dynamics of Ukrainian synthetic indicators of quality of life and a defined set of key explanatory variables-determinants of the state’s economic policy in order to identify problem areas in the socio-economic development of Ukraine. That is, consider approaches to solving the fourth task of our research based on the application of regression analysis. Results. Approaches to the study of the dynamics of synthetic indicators of the quality of life (QOL) and their determinants, which are determined on the basis of regression analysis from the a priori data set of the state’s economic policy, are considered. An analysis of the results of the dynamics of these SIAs and their determinants during 2010-2019 is presented. The obtained results indicate that on the basis of the analysis of the dynamics of Ukrainian synthetic indicators of the quality of life and their determinants, it is possible to ensure the identification of problem areas in the socio-economic development of Ukraine, which should be influenced by means of the state’s economic policy. Conclusion. As a result, we found a positive answer to the main question of our research: how, based on the analysis of the dynamics of synthetic indicators of the quality of life and their determinants, can we ensure the identification of problem areas in the socio-economic development of Ukraine, which should primarily be influenced by the means of state economic policy?","PeriodicalId":33554,"journal":{"name":"Control Systems and Computers","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67102459","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relevance of the competitiveness of transport and logistics system in the period of digital transformation of the economy is associated primarily with the widespread introduction of information technologies, which is caused by the progressive complication of logistics tasks and the intensification of transport processes. Purpose. To ensure integration of Ukraine into the global transport space and realization of its transit potential, it is necessary to solve such a problem as: the creation of a competitive transport and logistics system based on a technically and technologically integrated transport and logistics infrastructure, as well as systems for coordinating business processes in supply chains. Methods. The key elements of the further development of the transport and logistics system will be the following tools: digitalization, information technology and innovations. From this point of view, it is necessary to assess the competitiveness of the transport and logistics system according to the methodology of the Institute of Management Development (IMD), the main factors of which are knowledge, technology and readiness for the future. To raise the level of competitiveness of the transport and logistics system during the period of digital transformation of the economy, such digital technologies as big data management, blockchain, cloud computing, the Internet of things, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality are considered. Result. Due to the need to ensure a high level of compatibility between material flow and logistics services in a complex transport and logistics system, standardization comes to the fore. The article describes the mechanism for organizing a digital platform of the transport and logistics system, where a separate block indicates the regulatory framework, which should ensure the high efficiency of the logistics service. Standardization, as one of the most important infrastructural elements of the economy, which primarily ensures its competitiveness and security, must meet modern requirements for the transition to the digital space. Conclusions. Thus, the rapid rate of change and complication of social and economic relations require new instruments of legal regulation, for which the norms contained in the standards can be applied, which is becoming an essential part of the global information social and economic development.","PeriodicalId":33554,"journal":{"name":"Control Systems and Computers","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67101834","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is impossible to create the completely secure environment, but it is possible to give sufficient attention to vulnerabilities and reduce the consequences of any attacks that will exploit these vulnerabilities. It is necessary to assume the probability of an attack and be ready to take actions now to prevent them from being successful again. Time is a definite factor in mitigating the damage from a cyber security breach. Thus, the key role is laid on detecting an intrusion as soon as possible and being able to neutralize or isolate the intruder. This work aims to show common types of cyberattacks on smart homes, as well as detections and methods for their tools. in this way, the method of mathematical comparison works in the work, which allows at the stage of system design to identify the possibilities of vulnerability and, as a result, create stable web applications and services, and at the stage of operation to assess the probability of attacks on the system and predict the consequences.","PeriodicalId":33554,"journal":{"name":"Control Systems and Computers","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67101617","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
