NIPSCO’s significant capital investments develops a modern and reliable energy generation and distribution infrastructure, and hence in turn supports the region’s economic development. In addition, both GDP and employment multipliers for NIPSCO demonstrate that due to the energy industry in Northwestern Indiana, NIPSCO creates more additional GDP and jobs in other industries in the region. In short, this brief economic report analysis shows that NIPSCO makes significant social economic contributions to the region’s economy in Northwestern Indiana.","PeriodicalId":335334,"journal":{"name":"Advance Research in Sciences (ARS)","volume":"27 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140741043","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As an active antiperspirant agent, it is present in over-the-counter hygiene products at a concentration of up to 25%. The concentration of aluminum chrohydrate will be estimated indirectly by measuring the concentration of free aluminum ions. Various methodological approaches, including atomic absorption spectroscopy, ion chromatography, and titration, can be employed for the estimation of aluminum. In this study, a novel reverse-phase isocratic liquid chromatography approach was created. The method utilized a differential refractometer, a column packed with a maleate group, and an eluent consisting of 2.0% v/v formic acid. The suggested methodology demonstrates a high degree of precision in quantifying the presence of aluminum in Aldry lotion. According to studies testing accuracy, linearity, and precision, the disclosed analytical technique for quantifying aluminum has a range of 0.125 mg/mL to 0.375 mg/mL. The proposed methodology has a significantly reduced execution time of 10 minutes and is characterized by its cost-effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":335334,"journal":{"name":"Advance Research in Sciences (ARS)","volume":"42 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140262604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Targeted genetic selection has contributed to body morphometry and performance potential and could be inadvertently associated with undesirable effects on bone stability. In this study, bone parameters were compared between a contemporary and heritage line for the effect of strain and dietary regimen. A total of 320 White Leghorn laying hens (69 weeks of age) of two different strains were distributed into a 2 × 2 factorial arrangement creating 4 experimental treatment groups: 1). 2016 hen on 1940 diet, 2). 2016 hen on 2016 diet, 3). 1940 hen on 1940 diet, and 4). 1940 hen on 2016 diet with 8 replicates per treatment. Keel bones were assessed for deviations and or fractures. Significant differences (P ≥ 0.05) were observed for both deviations and/or fractures with the 2016 strain having more when compared to the 1940 strain. Humerus and tibia bones were analyzed for bone mineral density, breaking strength, and bone ash. Humerus and tibia weights which included both pre (with meat attached) and post weights (without meat attached) had significant differences (P ≤ 0.05) in the pre-weight in the 2016 hens, however no significant differences in the post weights. Results suggest that genetics played a role in the differences observed with the bone parameters measured and nutrition had few adverse effects.","PeriodicalId":335334,"journal":{"name":"Advance Research in Sciences (ARS)","volume":"52 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140261315","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They possess significant pharmacological potential, but until now their applicability in medicine has been limited to their ability to limit coagulation in blood. Our immune system plays a major role in disease states, with both ends of the spectrum being significant. Both a slow or absent immune reaction on one hand and an overreaction of the system on the other hand may be detrimental to our health. Since the process of coagulation seems to be related to the immune system, studies showing a possible role for coumarins and their lead compounds in modulating the immune system. were searched for in databases like PubMed, Google Scholar and Hinari. Several studies with promising results revealing a role for coumarins in modulating the immune response, were found However, all these studies have been carried out in in vitro and simple animal models. Randomized clinical trials will be required to demonstrate the therapeutic value of these readily available coumarin compounds.","PeriodicalId":335334,"journal":{"name":"Advance Research in Sciences (ARS)","volume":"55 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140459560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been claimed that bone condensing for preparation of the implant site in soft bone avoids the risk of heat generation and also implants can be placed precisely with increased primary stability. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of the osteotome technique, followed by immediate implant placement, using cases presenting different conditions as dento-alveolar bony defects and to define management solutions in the event of existing bone resorption. Material and Methods: A group of twenty patients treated with bone expansion by means of osteotome technique, followed by single immediate implant placement were placed either in the maxillary or mandibular regions. Clinical findings have been recorded (complications, infection, and wound dehiscence) during the whole follow up period. The amount of bone expansion at the alveolar ridge after implant placement was measured clinically, gingival margin was evaluated clinically, and the marginal bone resorption (crestal bone loss) were evaluated radiographically for the restored implant oneyear after implant’s functional loading. Results: The surgical sites for the implant areas showed no post-operative complications, infection nor wound dehiscence during the whole follow up period. No prosthetic complications were recorded at follow up visits. The amount of bone expansion at the alveolar ridge were ranged 2.6-4.2 mm. The amount of marginal bone resorption from time of implant placement to one-year’s after implant’s functional loading were ranged 0.8-1.9 mm. The contour, height, and width of gingival at the implant site was corresponded to the soft tissues that surround the adjacent natural teeth) The gingival margin as esthetic outcome were achieved for most of the restored implants one-years after implant’s functional loading. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, the Osteotome technique is a good technique for the purpose it was introduced i.e. for Knife edge ridges and the advantages for this technique for patients include less surgical trauma and a shorter treatment time.","PeriodicalId":335334,"journal":{"name":"Advance Research in Sciences (ARS)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116146799","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

L. de Jussieu [1]. Kew Science reported 139 genera 4,236 species followed the authorities of Angiosperm phylogeny group (APG IV) [2], instead of 140 genera 4,167 species [3]. Nevertheless, The Genera of Araceae had been reported 125 genera 3,750 species in 2011 [4], but the Global Biodiversity Information Facility has recently reported 5,953 species in more than 230 genera [5]. The accepted genus and species are still be checked correctly by the taxon experts. Araceae in Thailand has been studied and reported by Bangkok Herbarium since 1921 [6]. In 2012, Flora of Thailand Journal, volume 12 reported 209 species in 26 genera, which did not still comprise the genus Lemna, Wolffia and Spirodella in subfamily Lemnoideae [7]. Nowsday, the record of Araceae diversity should be more than in 2012. Araceae is used for food, medicine, industry and decorate place by local people [8].","PeriodicalId":335334,"journal":{"name":"Advance Research in Sciences (ARS)","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130303005","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These adaptations include deep-soil-accessing root systems, symbiotic relationships with fungi, and root system modifications to deal with water stress. Drought is a major environmental stress that can have a negative impact on plant growth and productivity. Plants have evolved a variety of adaptations to cope with water stress, drought, salinity, and extreme temperatures. Deep root systems, stomatal regulation, and leaf modifications are essential for accessing water from deep soil layers, while shallow root systems are beneficial for areas with insufficient soil moisture. Osmotic adjustment, ion transport and sequestration, and morphological adaptations help plants maintain turgor pressure and water uptake. Genetic adaptations can help develop salt-tolerant crops for saline soils.","PeriodicalId":335334,"journal":{"name":"Advance Research in Sciences (ARS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129585181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
