Tsemokh","doi":"10.20998/2078-5364.2021.3.02","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20998/2078-5364.2021.3.02","url":null,"abstract":"The comparison of heat losses by pipelines of an extensive residential neighborhood heating system for two options of the distribution network was carried out for a residential neighborhood in Kharkov. The proposed configuration of the heating network differs from the existing (\"basic\") one in using of the law of heating medium flow rate variation along the heat pipe length. This law takes into account increased flow rate of heating water through branches at the initial sections of the pipeline. The actual flow rate distribution is approximated by a step function. The difference in the laws of flow rate variation is taken into account by the exponent value. The calculation of heat losses was carried out for underground pipelining in non-accessible tunnels. The temperature of heat line water is taken to be the corresponding to the design outdoor air temperature for heating according to the temperature schedule of the heating network. Specific heat losses by pipelines in heat network sections are considered to be at the standard level for non-accessible tunnels. The soil temperature at the depth of the heat pipe axis is taken equal to 5°C. Heat losses by the structural elements of the heat network are taken into account by a factor of 1.15. The variation of the flow rate and temperature of network water in rated pipeline sections is considered in the analysis.  The water flow rate at the sections was found based on the design thermal loads of connected buildings. \u0000It is shown that when choosing the configuration of the distribution network of the heating system of a group of buildings, preference should be given to the option with a lower value of the exponent in the equation for heating medium flow rate variation along the length of the main line of the network. For extensive heating networks, this can be achieved by connecting as many buildings as possible to the heating network sections close to a heat supply station. An increase in the network water flow rate through the branches at the initial sections of the pipeline ensures a decrease in heat losses by the network pipelines. A differential acoustic method for controlling the physical and mechanical parameters of multilayer plates made of slag glass-ceramics has been investigated. A structural diagram of an automated device for measuring acoustic control of the ultimate compressive strength Rр of a controlled slag glass-ceramics plate is proposed. The option of automation of the measurement process considered in the article makes it possible to carry out measuring control of the strength characteristics for a relatively short period of time and by averaging the results of measurements of the physical and mechanical parameters of slag glass-ceramic plates, leads to a decrease in the values of random measurement errors and thereby contributes to an increase in the accuracy of measurements of physical and mechanical parameters of slag glass-ceramics products. The values of the relative increments of the attenuation coefficient ∆ƞ23/ƞ4were obtained, while the ranges of the values of the attenuation coefficient of a transmission of various waveforms of the piezoelectric transducer correspond to the ranges of the compressive strength Rр of the test sample. There are significant difficulties in measuring current wear and recalculation in mathematical models, since they include a large number of parameters. This does not allow for simple technical control of cutting edge wear and predicting tool life. The formulation of the wear-contact problem of the tool tip and the material interaction during turning of reinforced composite plastics is presented. Based on known studies, it is assumed that wear occurs along the flank of the tool, and is accompanied by an asymmetric change in the geometry of its tip. A model of abrasive wear during sliding of a tool tip rear surface with a polymer composite reinforcement material and fracture products is considered. It is assumed that the wear law is hereditary and there is a linear dependence of the wear rate on the rate of contact interaction and pressure. Shear stresses through the contact pressure and the coefficient of friction nonlinearly depend on the operating time of the tool due to the change due to wear in the geometric shape of the tool and the processing parameters of the product over time. The volumetric wear factor is a tool run time function. It reflects the fact that the interaction of the “tool-workpiece” pair with time should, as it were, forget about the running-in stage, which has a high wear rate, and the fact that the dependence of wear on the load (contact pressure) is characterized by the presence of aftereffect. A simplified relationship is obtained for the wear law under the assumption that there is no change in the coefficient of friction, temperature and contact pressure over time. It is urgent to find ways to impact on it in order to obtain these or other products of its life activity. \u0000At present, it is urgent to search for microorganisms producing enzymes, including amylase. One of the most promising in terms of biological objects is a natural microbial symbiont Medusomyces Gisevii (tea fungus) and Oryzamyces Indici, which, thanks to the not identical, microbiological composition and different growing conditions may have a different composition of metabolites. Studies of the amylolytic activity of the culture liquid Medusomyces Gisevii and Oryzamyces indici with different cultivation periods have been carried out. Cultivation of the fungus was carried out in the laboratory according to the classic method. The optimal concentration of sucrose for Medusomyces Gisevii and Oryzamyces Indici biomass growth was set at 5%. Sucrose concentration of 15% and above is not recommended for use due to inhibition of biomass growth with increasing concentration of carbohydrates in the culture medium. It is established that these symbionts start to show the amylolytic activity already on the 10th day of cultivation cultivation in standard nutrient medium, medium supplemented with 10 % milk and serum-based medium and stores it in the course of the experiment (30 days). Over time the amylolytic activity increases. However, the intensity of metabolism of the microorganisms, the criterion of which is the ratio of the total and exogenous amylase is most pronounced in the early stages of cultivation. It was found that the culture medium of polycultures shows high amylolytic activity. When carrying out deep mechanochemical transformations, as a rule, it is necessary to transfer to solid reagents a portion of energy comparable to the energy of interatomic bonds. For this, various machines and apparatus are used, such as extruders, in which mechanical energy is constantly transferred to the crushed material. \u0000The article discusses the interaction of two reagents in a simple chemical reaction in the state of a mixture of particles of two types, which occurs during compression of particles having a rough irregular shape, and colliding with each other, forming areas of contact. Significant stress concentrations and heating of the substance with the formation of a new phase arise in these regions. \u0000Thermal control of the mechanochemical reaction is to maintain an optimal balance of dissipative heat and heat from the coolant in the worm reactor so that the rate of flow and the final product of the reaction meet the specified specifications. The formulas provided in the article for calculating the coefficient of the rate of mechanochemical reaction, heat transfer between worm reactor and jacket channel, heat exchange between jacket and environment allows to calculate the balance conditions for thermal management. \u0000The block diagram of the technological line, which is presented in the article, is more economical in comparison with carrying out the same reaction in a solvent. The economic benefit lies in the elimination of the steps of introducing and removing the solvent from the reaction product. \u0000At the end, it is indicated that the mechanochemical reaction of the transformation of a mixture of two dispersed materials consisting of solid particles into a liquid can be realized in continuous conditions in a flow mode in a worm machine. Particular attention is paid to unauthorised parking which is caused by a lack of designated parking spaces. In addition, in residential areas of modern megacities there is a lot of infill development, which is an additional source of noise and dust. Thus, a significant number of playgrounds are located in areas with excessive anthropogenic load. \u0000The materials presented in the article describe the current condition of playgrounds in most big cities of Ukraine. Particular importance is attached to the factors which are connected with vehicle traffic, for example noise pollution, air dustiness and pollutant emissions. \u0000At the first stage, a list of factors affecting the environmental safety of children's playgrounds in urbanised areas was compiled and analysed. \u0000The next stage involves the development of a questionnaire and the direct assessment of the influencing factors by the experts involved. The article considers the factors that are rarely considered in the study of the impact of individual anthropogenic factors of the environment on public health, however, in modern conditions they cannot be neglected. \u0000The final stage consists of data processing and formation of conclusions. Their use and consumption will not lead to the inevitable depletion of the Earth's reserves, and they do not pollute the environment. The main motive for the accelerated development of renewable energy in Europe, the United States and many other countries is concern for energy independence and environmental safety. Thus, the EU has adopted a program to achieve the contribution of renewable energy sources to the energy balance by 2020 up to 20%, and by 2040 – up to 40%. Renewable energy is characterized by versatility and diversity. In the list of tasks arising in the implementation of renewable energy (RE) projects (except technological and technical), there are issues of assessing the possibility and efficiency of using RES for energy supply to the regions. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that often the user is interested in comprehensive assessments for various types of energy sources. In specific regions, the most effective can be either the use of hybrid power plants, or the creation of thermal power plants using various types of renewable energy. In connection with the complexity of this problem, as well as the geographic “regionality” of renewable energy, the topic of this article becomes possible and relevant. A heat and power plant is proposed for supplying: electricity, hot water, hot air and heating, in which, together with a wind power generator, a double-circuit solar installation, a heat pump, electricity and heat accumulators are used. Ethanol production processes from any organic matter often involve rectification, which is an energy-intensive process. The constant increase in the cost of energy leads to a significant growth of the cost of production. Reducing the unit energy consumption can solve a range of important issues: first, that of decreasing production cost, and secondly, that of nationwide dependence on external energy suppliers. A detailed analysis of the thermal energy potential of technological flows aimed at solving the problem of reducing energy consumption inspires the development of more energy-efficient solutions for organizing this processes. \u0000The search for alternative solutions demonstrates that one of the methods of reducing the unit energy consumption for ethanol production, in particular one that does not require a total restructuring of the production lines, is the method of integration of processes based on pinch analysis. \u0000The extraction of these technological flows was carried out on the basis of the regulatory documentation of the hardware-technological scheme of the centralized ethyl alcohol head fraction distillation plant and the energy audit report of that plant, which was carried out at one of the alcohol enterprises of Ukraine. \u0000A distillation and a purification column were selected from the centralized ethyl alcohol distillation plant for thermal integration of the existing process. The thermal and material balances of the ethyl alcohol head fraction distillation plant columns were calculated. \u0000To maximize the energy potential of the heat flows, the principles of pinch design were applied and a grid diagram of heat exchanger networks was designed. \u0000To maximize the recovery of thermal energy, the difference ΔTmin was set to - 3ºC. This led to the need to use energy-efficient heat exchange equipment. Saienko","doi":"10.20998/2078-5364.2021.2.02","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20998/2078-5364.2021.2.02","url":null,"abstract":"The formation technology and performance characteristics of coatings based on aqueous dispersions are largely determined by the properties of the initial film-forming materials, which should ensure uniform thin-layer distribution on the substrate surface and the formation of coatings with the required technological complex of properties. Among them, due to their functional properties and relatively low cost, the most widespread are water-dispersion polymer coatings based on acrylic film-formers. In this paper, mathematical models of the structural and rheological dependences of heat-insulating acrylic aqueous dispersions are considered depending on the combined content of hydrophilic-hydrophobic fillers. To describe these dependencies, it is advisable to use equations of the second degree. According to the mathematical theory of experiment, the second-order orthogonal central compositional design makes it possible to predict the behavior of the response function. Carrying out an experiment in accordance with this plan makes it possible to establish the analytical dependence of the response function on the corresponding factors in the form of a polynomial equation of the second degree. The main response functions were: conditionally static yield stress, viscosity at the minimum rate of onset of fracture (initial effective viscosity), viscosity of the “destroyed” structure according to the Newtonian nature of the flow, activation energy of viscous flow at minimum, average and maximum shear rates. On the basis of the established dependences, the optimal ratios of hydrophobized aerosil and aluminosilicate microspheres were selected, the combined use of which makes it possible to reduce shear stresses to create a homogeneous aqueous acrylic dispersion, to predict the activation energy at various technological stages of preparation and application of heat-insulating coatings. Sinkevich","doi":"10.20998/2078-5364.2021.2.03","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.20998/2078-5364.2021.2.03","url":null,"abstract":"In order to improve the performance properties, in particular viscosity-temperature, of boiler fuel, it is proposed to combine them with narrow fuel fractions obtained by thermal destruction of secondary polymer raw materials (low pressure polyethylene and polypropylene). \u0000When compounding grade 100 fuel oil with narrow fuel fractions, the values ​​of density are reduced to 865 (873) kg / m3, conditional viscosity to 2.50 (2.63) deg. um., pour point up to 8 (13) °C), sulfur content up to 0.17 wt%. and the lower heat of combustion increases to 43606 (43850) kJ / kg. At the same time, there is a gradual decrease in the value of the flash point to 114 (127) °C. \u0000This reduction is a negative point, which leads to increased fire safety of fuel oil during its use, storage, pumping and transport. However, the values of the flash point, according to the requirements of regulatory documentation, are within acceptable limits. That is, the value of this indicator can limit the content of fuel oil in narrow fuel fractions. \u0000It is determined that the rational concentration of narrow fuel fractions in the composition of fuel oil grade 100, is within 30% of the mass.
