It is present in most tasks that require intelligent behaviour, such as planning, reasoning, problem solving, decision making, classification and many others dealing with real world entities and data. Consequently, the management of uncertainty is central to the development of computer based systems that can successfully execute these tasks. This, in turn, depends upon the adoption of uncertainty management techniques that are appropriate for the particular task in hand.","PeriodicalId":334979,"journal":{"name":"Intell. Symbols which have adapted and partly used these known factors for construction are explained in two case studies. Each uses phonetic alphabet components in the final design and each has been adjusted to give added message value. We explain the elements that have to function within the matrix and the methodology behind the construction of a symbol that uses letterform. A brief recent history to place the symbol into that context is considered through a corporate appearance programme.","PeriodicalId":334979,"journal":{"name":"Intell.
