The Users of Cloud often give their secret credential for accessing application and/or data hosted on Cloud environment. Authentication is today's one of the most challenging issues in the domain of security and privacy for the applications running under Cloud environment. As users' access more than one service, sometimes using common credentials, User feels unsafe about disclosing their identity on the Cloud environment because their information may be used with other application/users to generate knowledge about their activities. In this paper, we propose a model which allows users to authenticate to the service securely and control the disclosure of their attributes. The proposed model offers users' a flexibility to generate instant identity along with credential required to authenticate service provider. The instant identity for each service provider makes tough for them to track user's access patterns. Due to rapid change in identity, service provider may not be able to locate user(s). The proposed model aims to assists the users to preserve privacy of their data.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116123133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Smart home technology is a collective term for information- and communication technology (ICT) as used in houses, where the various Multi-Agent Systems are communicating via a local network. The technology can be used to monitor, warn and carry out functions according to selected criteria by the disabled people. Smart home technology also makes the automatic communication with the surroundings possible, via the Internet, ordinary fixed telephones or mobile phones. Persons with disabilities may have impairments that prevent them from using common household items. A light switch, for example, may be a convenient way for most individuals to control lighting within their home. However, some persons with disabilities may have mobility constraints or limited use of their hands, have difficulty to control light switches. In these situations, it would be ideal that other alternatives be available to these persons with disabilities so that they would be able to enjoy the same comfort of controlling the lights in their home. In the daily living of people with disabilities, they have to use lots of home appliances by them limited motor function. There are Environmental Control Systems which are operated by voice for people with disabilities. To overcome this problem a multi-modal interface system is suggested that allows use of voice and gesture commands for controlling distributed home appliances used by people with disabilities. The main objective of this study is combined with Non-verbal and verbal interface for intuitive and efficient control that uses hands-free operation. The pointing gesture by facing as Non-verbal interface represents selecting one of the home appliances. The voice commands as verbal interface represent button operation of the remote controller such as the power on/off, the channel select and the volume up/down. The prototype system can provide a hands-free remote controller for people with quadriplegia who do not have to send verbal commands for selecting home appliances.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117001755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many tools have previously been created to simulate the work of the clouds, such as CloudSim. The main use of these tools is evaluation and testing of architectures and services before deployment on network centers and hosts in order to avoid any potential failures or inconveniences. The benefits of using the pay-per-use clouds may be affected by underutilization of the already reserved resources, so the maximization of system utilization while simultaneously minimizing makespan is of great interest to cloud providers wishing to reduce costs. To minimize makespan and increase resource utilization, a hybrid of particle swarm optimization and simulated annealing is implemented inside of CloudSim to advance the work of the already implemented simple broker. The new method maximizes the resource utilization and minimizes the makespan.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"322 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115566650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However the most difficult part is not guarantee the convergence speed but how to control it properly. In this paper, we proposed a scheme to configure parameters of routing protocol based on the real-time network state evaluation. The goal is to adjust the pace of routing convergence according to the different importance of fault network units. We attempt to adjust the pace of routing convergence based on real-time state of network. All basic functions are closely integrated with the network state. The main contribution of our work is to control the convergence speed properly, which is also the biggest difference with other survivability technologies.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126602007","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Time required to build a decision tree becomes intractable, as datasets get extremely large. To overcome this problem we proposed a parallel mode of ID3 algorithm. Decision tree building is well-suited for thread-level parallelism as it requires a large number of independent computations. However, as high computational complexity of spiking neural networks it is difficult to implement them efficiently using software simulation. In this paper a new hardware implementation method is proposed. In order to implement spiking neural networks more simply, efficiently and rapidly, a toolbox, which is composed of components of spiking neural networks, is developed for neuroscientists, computer scientists and electronic engineers to implement and simulate spiking neural networks in hardware. Using the toolbox a spiking neural network is easy to implement on a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) chip, because the toolbox takes advantages of Xilinx System Generator and works in Mat lab Simulink environment. The graphic user interface enables users easy to design and simulate spiking neural networks on FPGAs and speed up run-time. This paper presents the methodology in development of the toolbox and the examples are used to show its promising application.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124242352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A protocol that can discover multiple routes from source to destination can support reliable routing of information in MANETs. However, a reliable routing protocol alone cannot enhance performance of MANETs. Nodes in MANETs also experience the problems of interference, exposed nodes and deafness. Hence a solution that can overcome these problems while offering reliable routing of information is essential. In this paper, Dual Polarized Directional Antenna based Multipath Routing Protocol (DPDA-MRP) is presented. With DPDA-MRP, the nodes participating in multihop communication are capable of carrying out dual polarised directional communication, which helps in mitigation of interference, exposed nodes, directional exposed nodes and deafness. The performance of the proposed DPDA-MRP protocol is compared with that of Single Polarised Directional Antenna based Multipath Routing Protocol(SPDA-MRP) and omnidirectional communication based Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) protocol. Simulation results show that DPDA-MRP achieves highest throughput among the three multipath routing protocols.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"243 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122658946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For example, abnormally increased variability during movement has shown to correlate with higher falling risk. Various gait parameters, such as step length, stride time, and joint angle velocity have been studied to reveal the link between variability and movement impairment under the hospital or laboratory environments. Although the accuracy of the measurements with the laboratory equipment is relatively high and reliable, spatiotemporal limitation and lack of representativeness of ordinary mobility characteristics of a subject have been major challenges of previous approaches. This study proposes the velocity adaptive variability parameter to overcome the listed limitations. Among several major factors that affect level of variability, such as kinematic, pathological, and physiological changes, the parameter specifically absorbs the impact of varied walking speeds to get an instinct variability signature from the same subject regardless of walking speed. Since we utilize a single inertial sensor to measure variability of the subject, the approach will enable us to continuously monitor mobility-related problems in a free-living environment. The proof of concept experiment has shown practical advantages of our approach, and we also expect that the adaptive variability can be applied to future continuous mobility monitoring research.","PeriodicalId":334733,"journal":{"name":"2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"59 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123253651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
