Rapid changes in technology have made the commerce a place of high competition and hugely affected by price fluctuation. BitCom is a proposed architecture bolstered by the emerging concept of blockchain. It aims to provide a clean and efficient supply chain to decrease system-wide costs. It is a framework deriving its roots form both- permissioned and permissionless blockchains to achieve a feasible solution to the problem of automating commerce. The model stays true to the roots of the supply chain while maintaining security. It uses flexible smart contracts for negotiations and transactions while permissionless entry is provided to the users. The concept of a credibility score has been introduced to help introduce trust in a decentralised network.","PeriodicalId":334609,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSC)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133825965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The image to be restored is transformed into sub-bands by the use of DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform). These sub-bands are reconstructed back to spatial domain to obtain the subspaces images that are at the same scale as the original image to be restored but having different resolutions. These subspace images are then subjected individually to ‘prioritized exemplar approach’ to fill-in different structures and textures simultaneously. We also optimize the patch size to cope up different sizes of textures, structures and varying resolution of the subspace images. These restored subspace images are superposed to obtain the final restored image. A number of images with changing complexion are used to estimate the effectiveness of the algorithm. The results shows visually plausible background where from the object is removed in variety of images with different structures and textures. The RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error) and PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) measures are used to quantify the improvement over visual quality of the restoration.","PeriodicalId":334609,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128685890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Others have directed their focus on the audio features to find relevant answers. But the biggest challenge faced while predicting music emotions is that no music depicts only a single emotion. Therefore, in this study, Russell’s scale is used to predict arousal and valence, rather than emotion. Audio feature selection via Multi-linear Regression is performed and comparative study is done between Linear Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, Kernel SVM, K nearest neighbours (K-NN), Naive Bayes, Logistic Regression and Random Forest on the audio features. Moreover, a hybrid model based on Multi-Layer Perceptron is proposed to enhance the precision of the predictions. The data set of this research has been taken from PMEmo 2019 data.","PeriodicalId":334609,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127406077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The applications of number plate recognition include identification and prevention of vehicular crime, traffic management and handling road challan process. However, APNR exhibits incompetent in case of poor plate localization, improper plate sizing and plate disorientation. Moreover, the ANPR algorithms such Optical character recognition, geometric analysis and character segmentation mechanism less efficient in adverse conditions such as illumination flare on the number plate. Hence, this work presents Cognitive Number Plate Recognition (CNPR) system based on Machine Learning techniques and Data Visualization methods. The proposed system performs knowledge generation through data clustering mechanism. Further, the hidden information pattern within the database of detected number plates is used to provide insight into the vehicle information towards decision making and analysis. The experimentation results of the proposed system show 85.3% of from plate recognition, 90.5% for rear plate, 83.2% of localization and 80.5 % of character segmentation and 73.4 % of character recognition.","PeriodicalId":334609,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSC)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121268930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The target is to improve the Read time performance of Cache Memory by using Read time parallelism property. This involves Splitting a Column into 4 parts (also known as Tiers) during Read operation and reading out all the 4 Tiers simultaneously. So in a single read operation, 4 cells can be read simultaneously, thereby, improving the Bit Rate to 4 times as compared to the conventional design. The design also involves the usage of a new Single ended, High Speed Sensing circuit for SRAM based memory architecture. This Sensing architecture targets to decrease Bit Line to Bit Line coupling effects at the time of Read operation, thereby, improving the per Bitcell Read performance. The proposed architecture exhibits a worst case sensing delay of nearly 0.26ns, showing nearly 2.4 folds improvement in the per Bitcell Read time with respect to the conventional latch type sense amplifier. Overall the proposed design is capable of reading 4 times the data in a much lesser time as compared to the conventional designs.","PeriodicalId":334609,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSC)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127240872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

DV-Hop is most accepted localization scheme compared to other schemes because of its straightforwardness, vigorous nature and possibility to work in different types of networks. However, the main limitation of DV-Hop includes low accuracy. This paper proposes a simple weighted centroid localization scheme that helps in achieving higher accuracy. Proposed method is simulated and its performance is evaluated. Simulation results confirm capability of proposed solution in achieving higher accuracy (up to 10%) as compared to traditional one.","PeriodicalId":334609,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSC)","volume":"395 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124288086","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus the identification and removal of ambiguities presence in the carrier phase measurements known as cycle-slip play significant role in satellite data processing prior to positioning. To avoid the delay and complexity of data processing for determining and correcting the cycle slips, an intensive research has been done in the previous years and yet there is need of improvement in approaches due to requirement of millimeter level accuracy in geodetic applications. This paper provides a detail discussion about the merits and limitations of the existing algorithms for resolving the cycle slips in order to identify the gap for the development of an efficient algorithm in the accurate positioning solutions.","PeriodicalId":334609,"journal":{"name":"2020 6th International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSC)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114687686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
