However, the agricultural land area tends to decline in size. It would pose serious and strenuous issues in the future. The utilization of the house yard area through the Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari Program (KRPL/Sustainable Food House Area Program) offered a resolution for this issue. The objective of this study was to investigate the sustainability of the KRPL program in Pasuruan Regency from its ecological, social, and economic aspects, and most influential attributes. Interviews sessions arranged with 18 participants who funded by the National and Regional Revenues and Expenditures Budget. The data collected were analyzed using the Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) approach and RAPFISH software. Findings revealed that the KRPL program classified into the moderate category, which indicated it could be executed sustainably in Pasuruan Regency. The economic aspect had the lowest sustainability index compared to the ecological and social aspects. The most influential attributes identified were the utilization of kitchen waste, pest control and irrigation (ecological), cooperation between group members, utilization of village nursery house, interests and benefits for other members (social aspect), cost savings, fulfillment of household consumption, user fees and visits, and product sales processed products (economic). To ensure the sustainability of the program, we need to address some issues and work in several areas: 1) community knowledge, attitudes, and skills improvement; 2) consumptive to productive thinking behavior transition; 3) intensive guidance from the creative and innovative workers, and 4) KRPL promotion","PeriodicalId":33446,"journal":{"name":"Soca Jurnal Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49289773","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the high price is being an obstacle to expanding the organic egg market in East Java Province. The aims of this research were to analyze the factors that influence the willingness to pay (WTP) and hedonic prices of organic eggs and to formulate pricing strategies. This research was conducted by using an online survey method in East Java Province, Indonesia. The survey was conducted from May to July 2021. The obtained data were analyzed by using multinomial logistic, linear regression, and descriptive analysis. The results showed that 26.4% of consumers were willing to pay for organic eggs 10% more than the current price. The factor that influenced WTP was product quality. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the price were the eggs taste and the organic label. The results showed that market players of organic egg agribusiness still have the opportunity to increase the price of organic eggs. However, they must inform consumers about the health benefits of organic eggs and include them on the organic eggs label.","PeriodicalId":33446,"journal":{"name":"Soca Jurnal Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"42438539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, studies on standard and certification, especially in Indonesia, rarely evaluate it as a systemic approach to agricultural development. This study aimed to analyze the parallels of the standard and certification with the premise of The Theory of Change–can contextually provide incentives for a systemic approach to sustainable coffee production in Indonesia and to examine the proper systemic approach for a sustainable system of the Indonesian coffee production. We conducted a literature review to address the study aims. Empirical and theoretical approach studies included in the review process. Findings revealed that standard and certification did not provide adequate incentives for systemic and sustainable coffee production in Indonesia. Thus, a combination of five building blocks as a conceptual systemic approach is required to encourage sustainable coffee production. These building blocks are composed of enabling environment, production and market characteristics, the availability of alternative livelihoods, and the level of competition among producers.","PeriodicalId":33446,"journal":{"name":"Soca Jurnal Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46697996","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research sample was determined by proportional random sampling with total 148 respondents. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, the research results found that the dominant factors of agricultural land shifting were the need for housing, public ignorance of the land function, there was no land as an alternative to build a residence, and the government lacked socialization about land functions according to the regional spatial plan.
