The study begins with understanding the needs of elderly customers through user-behavior observation, in-depth interview and research on the IS017480 international standard criteria. The study on the convenient products used in daily life shows that the central functional usability design is not complicated. The packaging shape has a greater influence on understandability of how to open a package than the labelled text characters do. The usage experience of elderly people is of the most important factor for packaging design. The contribution of this research is to support designers as a guideline in the conceptual design phase. Microstructural observation of the anodized specimen was performed using optical- and field emission scanning electron microscope. Spectrophotometer and potentiostat were used for investigation of color appearance and corrosion resistance, respectively. Difference in anodizing current density plays important role on the quality of microstructure, corrosion resistance and color intensity. Higher surface roughness of the layers, caused by large current density of anodizing process, was found to enhance a color intensity of specimen with a reduction of corrosion resistance. Often, many sensor nodes are battery operated devices, and thus low power consumption is considered as one of the key design challenges for low-power WSNs. In this paper, we present the architecture and its low-cost implementation of a platform by using commodity hardware and open-source software, suitable for measurements of the power consumption of distributed low-power wireless sensor devices. We have built two types of sensor nodes which operate in cyclic sleeping mode and use two different wireless radio standards, namely IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and IEEE 802.15.4. Experiments were conducted to measure and compare the power consumption and active time per cyclic-sleep interval of both sensor node types under different conditions such as different payload lengths and sleep intervals. The only solution to this problem is early detection of disease and take precautionary measure to keep its effects to minimum. Since it affects various parts of body, the affected organ also includes eye which is very sensitive to any kind of distress. Diabetic Retinopathy effects of diabetes on eye retina, which includes rupturing of retina blood vessels and abnormal growth of blood vessels in retina, which ultimately causes blindness. Diabetic Retinopathy can be identified by examining the retinoscopy images. In this paper, retinoscopy images were processed using wavelet transform. Wavelet coefficients extracted from the images were obtained to identify Diabetic Retinopathy. KNN and SVM were used to classify the retinoscopy images. Estimation of these biomarkers are used to provide some insight, while detecting cancerous cells and classifying the lesion as either benign or malignant. This paper presents groundwork for detection of skin lesions with cancerous inclination by segmentation and subsequent application of Convolution Neural Network on dermoscopy images. Images included in ISIC-2016 were used as dataset. Images with skin lesions were segmented based on individual channel intensity thresholding. The resultant images were fed into CNN for feature extraction. The extracted features were then used for classification by an ANN classifier. Previously, several approaches have been used for subject diagnostic with varying degree of success. However, room is still available for exploring other techniques for improving proportion of successfully detected malignant lesions. In order to reveal strain-hardening characteristics in each stage and reduce the stage forming. The elasto-plastic finite-element analysis was used for determining the stress, strain, and strain flow of multi-stage deep drawing cup of SUS304. The plastic flow behavior used in this work was obtained from the tensile test under uniaxial state. The effective strain and percentage in thinning distributions were examined from both of the finite-element analysis and experiments. Strain hardening exponent values of each stages are determined by using uniaxial tensile test. Form this study, the simulation results are good agreement with the experimental results. The increased tensile strength were reduced the strain quantities in every stage and a proper strain hardening plays an important rule to the formability. Experiments have been performed to determine the appropriate button and text sizes in such a way that users can utilize the GUI with speed, accuracy, and usability. The experiments were conducted on five human subjects who are familiar with general electronic device touchscreens. The first experiment was to determine the minimum text size that users can accurately read within 0.5 seconds. The second experiment was to determine the minimum button size and space between two adjacent buttons. Based on the experimental results, a GUI guideline for RPI touchscreens of a specified size handling automation systems is proposed. The guideline suggests the optimal button size, text size, graphic display elements, shape, color, etc. At the end, a case-study GUI, designed with the help of the proposed guideline, has been developed and installed on a 7-inch RPI touchscreen manipulating an automatic thin-film slicing machine. Not only solar PV is a clean energy but also has its price dropped and has its efficiency improved significantly since 1975. Thus, investing in solar PV is feasible and attractive nowadays. In Thailand, industrial and business sector are the largest power consumers which have an opportunity to reduce electricity cost and promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by using solar PV. So, installing solar PV as Isolated Power Supply system (IPS) of companies in the industrial sector reduces electricity consumption from the grid. This would cause a problem in demand forecasting for electricity in the grid. As food industry grows and offers more variety of restaurants, customers generally have difficulty discovering a restaurant that suits or satisfies them. This paper aims to predict restaurant satisfaction rating based on three methodologies: content-based filtering, collaborative filtering, and hybrid filtering. For content-based filtering, this paper proposes using regression to create a prediction model from customer and restaurant characteristics. For collaborative filtering, our proposed model employs a combination of cluster analysis, similarity test, and weighted sum in order to analyze factors that influence the satisfaction rating. Cluster analysis helps to reduce the impact of sparsity in collaborative filtering. Subsequently, hybrid filtering is proposed to combine the results from the two techniques above to generate the final rating. The objective is to observe how variation of certain process parameters during plasma arc welding between stainless steel SUS304 and carbon steel SS400 influences the welded joint's metallurgical and mechanical properties. Three parameters are of interest and varied: welding speed of 250, 300 and 400 mm/rnin, shielding gas of Ar99.999<sup>%</sup> and Ar95<sup>%</sup> + He5%, and welding current from 80 to 120 A. The experiments illustrate optimal results particularly with the welding speed of 400 mm/rnin, welding current of 110 A and shielding gas of Ar95% + He5<sup>%</sup>• With Ar95<sup>%</sup> + He5<sup>%</sup>, a maximum tensile strength of 455.99 MPa in the heat affected zone (HAZ) and better penetration can be gained. Increasing both welding speed and current affects the tensile strength. The quality of the welded joints is significantly affected by variation of the amount of applied shielding gas.
