The treatment by the mixture of Biozied 125g+Bioarc125g/100L./9 trees surpassed the other treatments recording 79% and 85.8 reduction on the average of root knot nematode number /250 g soil with the preparation and irrigation by non-magnetized and magnetized water, respectively. While the treatment with Bioarc alone was retarded recording average reduction 53.2% and 62.1% in root knot nematodes population. On the other hand potency of the bionematicides such as Bioarc and Biozied or their mixture increased gradually till the fourth month then declined. With chemical nematicide (Rugby) the reduction in population of root –knot nematodes gradually decreased it. This nematicide reduced nematode clearly in the first month whereas the nematode reduction was 67.4 % and 83.8% with the use of non-magnetized and magnetized water, respectively. It is worth to mention that preparation of Rugby by magnetized water gave more reduction in root-knot nematodes than using of non-magnetized water especially in the first month count whereas the reduction was 83.8 % versus 67.4% with non-magnetized water. Abamectin behaved in the same trend of Rugby whereas their efficiency gradually weakened from 62.2% root-knot nematode reduction after one month to 46.7% after five months from application in usage of non-magnetized water for preparation of nematicides and irrigation.","PeriodicalId":33372,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Modern Research in English Language Studies","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90075513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: A total of 30 sound extracted bovine teeth were sectioned, mounted in acrylic block and randomly divided into 3 groups I-III (water (control), abrasive optical whitening tooth paste (Closeup Diamond Attraction), nonabrasive optical whitening tooth paste (Closeup White Now)) respectively. The buccal surface of each sample was flattened and stained by immersion into a concentrated tea solution. Then samples were subjected to 5500 double strokes of brushing with 200g force using a brushing simulator. Tooth color and surface roughness were measured before and after the brushing procedure using reflecting spectrophotometer regarding (CIE) and a contact profilometer surface roughness tester. Results: For color, both whitening tooth pastes showed a statically significant means of ΔE1 and ΔE2 compared to the control group indicating a higher efficiency. Furthermore, all groups showed a statistically significant increase in roughness after brushing. On the other hand, they showed a non-statistically significant means compared to each other. Conclusions: Both types of pastes were effective in teeth whitening without creating potential harmful to surface of enamel for a time equivalent to one year usage in oral cavity.","PeriodicalId":33372,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Modern Research in English Language Studies","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81151732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Twenty F1 and S1 progenies resulted from the combinations progenies of Manfalouty self-pollinated“MSP”, Manfalouty X Nab El-Gamal “MN”, Manfalouty open pollinated“MOP” and Tahrir open pollinated “TOP” were selected to measure several morphological quantitative and qualitative characters. Start Codon Targeted Polymorphism (SCoT) moleculer marker was used to assess the genetic variation. Results indicated that, MSP1 progeny gave the lowest shoot length and shoot diameter in both seasons, the same progeny gave the lowest values of number of leaves / shoot in both seasons. The MOP2 progeny is the earliest genotype for blooming for both seasons (15 and 14 of march, respectively). Regarding the fruit characters, TOP2 progeny gave the highest fruit diameter (99.67 and 96.00 mm), the highest fruit length (65.33 and 65.67 mm) , the fruit weight (293 and 292.3 gm) , arils weight (211 and 210.5 gm ) and the highest juice volume (123.7 and 121.3 ml ) in the first and second seasons, respectively. The progeny MSP2 gave the highest percent of TSS (14.93 and 15.43) in two seasons. The results of molecular analysis showed that, The ratio of polymorphism about of (48.38%), while he ratio of monomorphism about of (51.62%). UPGMA-cluster analysis discriminated the three tested cultivars and four selected progenies based on data of SCoT at 0.723 similarity. The nematode IJs were subjected to the LC 50 and LC 25 of insecticides, and the viability of infective juveniles (IJs) was measured before being tested against Galleria mellonella larvae to determine IJs pathogenicity. Also, the mixtures were evaluated against the 4 th instar larvae of S. frugiperda to select one mixture can serve in integrated pest management (IPM) in agro-ecosystems. Results showed that H. bacteriophora strain (HP88) was more efficient with higher pathogenicity and virulence against 4 th larvae of S. frugiperda (LC 50 = 48.67±0.34IJs/ml -1 ) than S. carpocapsae (AT4) (LC 50 = 65.88± 3.04). flubendiamidee was the most toxic insecticide (LC 50 = 3.26±0.52) followed by Lambada cyhalothrin (4.23±0.8PPM).","PeriodicalId":33372,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Modern Research in English Language Studies","volume":"3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87811140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It invaded Egypt in 2009 and many plantations. It’s difficult to control due to the limitation of insecticides, therefore, the susceptibility of T . absoluta to three indigenous isolates of entomopathogenic nematodes in Egypt, i. e. Heterorhabditis bacteriophora (EKB20), Steinernema sp . (B32) and Heterorhabiditis sp. (Kasassien isolate) were determined in the laboratory, greenhouse, and field experimental compared with emamectin benzoate insecticide. Leaf bioassays were carried out to evaluate the affinity of nematode isolates to reach the larvae and affect them at the galleries. The efficacy of the three nematode species after foliar application to potted tomato plants was evaluated under laboratory conditions. High larval mortality (70.6–94%) and low pupae mortality (<25%) were determined. In the leaf bioassay tests, a high level of larval infestation (75.4– 88.6%) indicated the nematode's ability to kill the larvae within the galleries compared with 100% mortality of emamectin benzoate with the recommended dose. In the pot experiments treatment plants with nematode caused a reduction in insect infestation by 87–94% compared with 96% in the treatment of emamectin benzoate. The results of the field experiment showed the efficiency of entomopathogenic nematodes for reducing infestation with T. absoluta with 70 to 90 % reduction % compared with more than 95% with emamectin benzoate. The results suggested that EPN are considered promising biocontrol agents, if correctly applied and released in integrated control schemes against the tomato leaf miners T. absoluta.","PeriodicalId":33372,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Modern Research in English Language Studies","volume":"GE-23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84617153","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The samples treated with the edible stored at room temperature (28 ºC ±3) for 12 days or at cool temperature (4 ºC ±1) for 90 days. Shelf-life qualitative weight loss, total soluble solids (Tss), firmness, titratable acidity, sensory evaluation and microbiological analysis were tested. Significant reduction in weight loss was detected in treated samples compared to control untreated ( T0 ). The treatment T2 was better, the weight loss was 4.6% after 12 day of storage either treatments T4 , T3 , T1when compared to control ( T0 ) was 7.8 % after 4 day of storage. Also, at the cooling temperature treatment T2 was less in weight loss it was 4.4% after 90 days compared to control that was 4.7% after 15 days of storage. the better sensory acceptance and acidity retention were detected for the treated samples along the storage period. However, total soluble solids (TSS) varied from ( 20.1 to 25.23% ) at room temperature and ( 20.2 to 21.83%) at cooling temperature. Fruit firmness were increased where the treatment ( T2 ) was 225 (gm/cm2) compared to the treatment ( T1 ) that was 208 (gm/cm2) at the room temperature (28ºC ±3). The treatment ( T2 ) was 209 (gm/cm2)as for the treatment ( T1) was 199 (gm/cm2) in the cooling temperature. Also microbiological analysis increases with storage time.
