In this scheme, we introduce that a single secondary transmitter, ST, employs a quadrature-phase-based signal to present the secondary message, while the primary message is presented by an in-phase-based signal. This allows simultaneous spectrum sharing without mutual interference. Therefore, an interference constraint is not necessary to protect primary operating performance from being degraded by the secondary user operations. Theoretical analysis and Simulations are then provided to confirm the superiority of the proposed scheme over the the current conventional methods.","PeriodicalId":333572,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2014)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124851774","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The conventional MIMO system is now developing to resolve these problems with limited device space for antenna and frequency band environment reserved. One of a way to make it practically is to add the number of antennas theoretically. But it is difficult to increase the antenna element as a limited space on the system. Therefore an active beam forming scheme is known as a way of constructing a low power MIMO system for that. In this paper, the fast switching control block was suggested to adjust a reactance of the antenna element and verified experimentally the effects by switching signal on an orthogonal beam forming through a spatial domain.","PeriodicalId":333572,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2014)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124811252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

More specifically, our novel NCLC system is devised by incorporating a beneficial network coding scheme into the TD-LTE system. The benefit obtained by employing the network coding scheme in our NCLC systems are highlighted and analysed by both insightful formulae and illustrative examples. Particularly, Monte Carlo simulation based results suggest that our NCLC system outperforms the conventional TD-LTE by at least 3dB at an FER of 10-5.","PeriodicalId":333572,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2014)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126202739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The virtual single cell network is a mobile network that offers fast movers no break handover for packet transfer by logical grouping adjacent small cells into virtual single cell. Due to constructing from a large number of small cells it requires cost-effective backhaul network. High speed PON is a good candidate for the mobile backhaul network since it can cost-effectively accommodate many terminals spread over the wide service areas. In our scope, we investigate adaptability of EPON mobile backhaul network into a virtual single cell network with modified WLAN interface shows (i) The EPON frame itself can be used for the virtual single cell network; (ii) The definition of mode bit in the preamble field should be modified; (iii) The mode bit meaning becomes to indicate communication types, point-to-point or multicast. The multicast here means limited broadcast to ONUs which possibly include a target terminal and transfer inhibit on the links under the OLTs which don't includes the target terminal; (iv) The broadcast communication should be indicated with LLID (Logical Link ID), not with the mode bit.","PeriodicalId":333572,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2014)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124336401","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Electrical measurements indicated that the memristor cell can be reversibly switched at a voltage pulse of -4 or 4 V for 1 μs. The operating mechanism was attributed to the charge storage of fullerene. The memristor exhibited highly reliable with the stable retention time characteristics with a large on/off current ratio of five orders of magnitude at 0.5 V. These obtained results suggest that the memristor based on fullerene can be utilized for storing information in bendable electronics.","PeriodicalId":333572,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2014)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115466487","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, the binary watermark image is embedded into the wavelet-blocks that can be obtained by grouping four coefficients at different sub-bands at corresponding coordinates. The modification of only two coefficients at the LH4 and HL4 sub-bands is decided by the value of watermark bit and the significant difference of them. In order to improve the performance, these blocks are filtered by sorting in the difference as the reparation before applying an embedding algorithm. The improvement reduces the degradation in the output image. The method is evaluated for many samples under various types of attack including the geometric and non-geometric attacks. Moreover, the comparison of the proposed method and recent others is also represented at the same payload.","PeriodicalId":333572,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC 2014)","volume":"2016 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130967650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We exploit both local and global features including color, SURF and shape for image representation. In addition, we propose cost-based schemes for feature matching and the Borda count method for feature fusion. An experiment is conducted on our previous study's dataset, which consists of 1,800 images of 12 food ingredients for evaluating the proposed method.
