Even before the pandemic, Turkish people started to use the Internet as a source for getting health related information according to Turkish Statistical Institute data. There is always some difference between men and women in various attitudes, perceptions, or behaviors. It is believed that gender also matters while searching health related information. This study examined the difference between men and women according to eHealth literacy. Gender differences were analyzed based on an online survey obtained from 520 Turkish Internet users. There was a significant difference between men and women according to their eHealth Literacy. Results showed that women felt more confident and skilled for searching health-related information online, so they found to be more highly eHealth literated than men.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115441021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Every company owner needs and desires their organization to be recognisable and boost the profit of company well. To achieve an impressive success in this competitive and challenging market, they must be one step ahead of their competitors. Thus, a company's meaningful logo can have a major effect on the market and attract new customers to boost revenue. As logo is the essentially branding tool, it is a company's or business's first point of communication and exposure with the world. This research study demonstrates the Signalling Theory which indicates the relationship between colour combination, shapes, lines and fonts used in logo towards purchase intention in sport’s brand product from University Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) undergraduate students’ perspective. 374 questionnaires were distributed to respondents which are undergraduate students from Unimas for the purpose of testing and analysis of the hypotheses in this research study. The data collected was evaluated with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26.0. In this research, it was found that the shape of the logo and the line used in the logo had a major positive relationship with purchase intention towards sport brand product from Unimas undergraduate students’ perspective, while the colour combination of the logo and the font used in the logo had a minimal impact on purchase intention towards sport brand product among Unimas undergraduate students. In contrast, the relatively insignificant impact of colour combination and font used in logo on sport brand product implementation tended to be influenced by other variables that yet to be determined.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126476261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, there is very little to none of the past systematic review that had been conducted on the users’ attitudes towards e-learning and the effects of e-learning in teaching and learning of speaking skills. Therefore, the purpose of this systematic review is to synthesise the findings of studies related to users’ attitudes towards e-learning and also the effects of e-learning in teaching and learning of speaking skills in any levels of education. This systematic review used 32 full-text journal articles from the year 2016 until 2020 from ERIC and JURN. Results of this review showed that the most used method in exploring the users’ attitude towards e-learning and the effects of e-learning in teaching and learning of speaking skills was quantitative method. Overall, the results of this review showed that 90.9% of the users have positive attitudes towards elearning and 100% of the past studies revealed that the use of e-learning has positive effects in teaching and learning of speaking skills despite some limitations.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134331826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To increase performance, several researchers have proposed that businesses must strengthen their export market orientation (EMO); but the way this connection works is quite unexplored. This research examines whether strategic alliances, by which companies’ access to information and resources play a mediating role in the EMO and international performance relationship. The population of this study is Malaysian food industry SMEs that are involved in the export activities. The food industry SMEs (i.e. SMFEs) was chosen due to the potential of this industry towards economic growth. A conceptual framework is proposed to identify dimensions of EMO, strategic alliance and international performance. The framework will be used to examine how these variables interact in the context of Malaysia. This is important for both theoretical and practical aspects as its exploration will contribute to a deeper understanding of how SMEs especially in the food industry can improve their international performance strategically and effectively.","PeriodicalId":333260,"journal":{"name":"The International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122275910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A preliminary study and questionnaire were used to assess the technical trainees' perceptions in operation, maintenance, and safety of five oil companies in Yemen. The sample was 350 trainees in this study. The data were analyzed by using SPSS software and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The result found that intensive training, quality assessment motivation has a significant positive effect on employees' core competence, however, the skill pool expert specifically in line supervisor and coach has a strong effect on employees' core competencies. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to test a hypothesis. This study was conducted in five oil companies and among 350 trainees only. For this reason, the results cannot be generalized to other contexts, where the other companies not interested and implemented conventional training programs, characteristics, and peer support from the work environment, were outside the scope of the study.
