Handwritten signature verification is one of the promising methods of identity verification, as each person's signature is unique, especially if its dynamic characteristics are taken into account. The study identified more than 20 characteristics of handwritten signature. The direction of further work is devoted to the definition of significant features for the construction of an effective verification algorithm. Boumaza","doi":"10.33422/2nd.icrset.2019.11.784","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.33422/2nd.icrset.2019.11.784","url":null,"abstract":"We report on hole polar optical phonon scattering processes in thin GaAs/AlxGa1-xAs quantum wells grown in various crystallographic directions, such as [001], [110]. Using the dielectric continuum model we focus on how the different scattering processes of holes with interface phonon modes depend on the initial hole energy. In our work, we use the Luttinger-Kohn (LK) 6×6 k.p Hamiltonian with the envelope function approximation, from which we compute numerically the electronic structure of holes for a thin quantum well sustaining only one bound state for each type of hole. Due to mixing between the heavy, light, and split off bands, hole subbands exhibit strong nonparabolicity and important warping that have their word to say on physical properties. Detailed and extensive calculations that the rates for intra-subband scattering processes differ significantly from those of bulk GaAs because of quantization and reduced dimensionality. Moreover, the study of scattering as a function of hole energy shows that the trend of the scattering rates is governed mostly by i) overlap integrals and ii) the density of the final states to which the hole scatters. The influence of warping, in the hole energy dispersion, on the phonon scattering rates is also explored and found to be important when the initial hole energy is high. Our calculations show evidence of strong anisotropy in the scattering rates especially for processes involving the heavy hole subband, which anisotropy is in fact quite important and far from being negligible. The importance of thermal comfort in the indoor environment can not be underestimated. A vast majority of complaints about indoor climate relate to poor thermal comfort. This paper presents an analysis of subjective thermal comfort measurement. The experiments were conducted to collect the data in the real conditions. ComfortSense system was used in these experiments. A Humidity and an Operative probe are available together with application software with graphical presentation of results including the Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) and Predicted Percentage Dissatisfied (PPD). The operating conditions are regulated by law in our country. The aim of the legislation is to protect people in the working environment and create appropriate health conditions for them. In quantum mechanics such abstractions, are unacceptable. It affirms that the properties of micro-objects are appeared during their interactions with the measurements apparatus, whereas the theoretical predictions are formulated as the expected results of interaction with a certain probability. The set of such interactions leads to the statistical distribution of these probabilities. In the microworld can’t be done without intermediaries. As necessity intermediaries are the measurements apparatus. In this article we will present the principal idea, that the adequate manner of description is determined by chosen method of observation. Coastal waters are widely used for a series of recreative activities. Therefore, it is needed a periodical assessment of water quality in order to improve public health. The aim of this research study was monitored and evaluation of water quality in correlation of the dynamics of fecal bacteria indicators in Vlora bay. Setting and design: The microbiological indicator analyses were conducted in 2019 at regular time intervals during two seasons: spring and summer. Water samples were collected at 6 sampling stations eventually distributed along the coastline. Materials and Methods: Total and fecal coliform were analyzed using one of the Coliform standard methods -MPN. In order to give a completed pattern of the study area, we measured some of the physical-chemical parameters such as: temperature, pH and salinity. The results: Temperature values vary from 11.6 o C in March to 23.7 o C in August. During summer time, our data show a higher concentration level of fecal bacteria almost in all the sampling stations. This might be due overpopulation of the coastline, especially in this period of year. Conclusions: This study shows that the sea water along Vlora coastline is largely indicated by anthropogenic sources. Described herein are heat transfer devices through a heat pipe and methods for transferring heat from a heat source to a point of consumption. A heat pipe is a device described in the literature as a material with more than 100 times higher thermal conductivity than copper. A heat pipe is an energy-efficient device without the need for an electrically powered element (circulation pump). The aim of this experiment is to construct a loop heat pipe device. Construction of the cooling circuit and ensuring sufficient cooling capacity by external cooling sources. Construction of a heating circuit in the form of a heat source and its regulation of heat output. Another objective is to measure the input and output parameters of the device and to calculate the resulting heat output of the loop heat pipe. The device itself is a cooling system for the removal of generated or waste heat from technological elements such as: electrical transformers, biomass and fossil fuel combustion processes, cooling of high-performance computer workstations, etc. Another objective is to select a suitable heat transfer medium. The right choice guarantees the optimal use of the loop heat pipe device in the optimum temperature working environment while minimizing the formation of non-condensable gases generated by the chemical reactions of the loop heat pipe material itself and the heat transfer medium.
