The varying rotational speed and forces are considered during the establishment of the model. Using Hamilton’s principle, the partial differential governing equation of motion can be derived for the rotating shell. Based on the governing equation, Galerkin’s approach is applied to obtain a two-degree-of-freedom nonlinear system. Numerical simulations are performed to investigate the nonlinear dynamic responses of the rotating shell. In summary, numerical studies show that the velocity and forces have effects on the time histories, phase portraits and power spectrum densities (PSD) of the response.","PeriodicalId":332213,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Computers, Signals and Systems Conference (ICOMSSC)","volume":"2020 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114537407","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thanks to the noticeable improvement of computer technology, the simulation of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has developed rapidly, which has been widely applied in the study of tunnel fire safety design. When the fire starts, people are vulnerable to poisonous and harmful smoke followed by high temperature, so the flow and temperature distribution of smoke must be explored. On this basis, the hazard of smoke and temperature can be analyzed and studied when a tunnel fire happens. The diffusion characteristics of smoke layer during a tunnel fire are obtained at different airflow velocities. Thus, this paper will build an original tunnel model, and employ fire dynamics simulator (FDS) for fire simulation and numeric simulation. Correspondingly, the harms to human being are analyzed while some advices on rescue and escape are put forward to provide the reference for escape and rescue from the tunnel under freeway.","PeriodicalId":332213,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Computers, Signals and Systems Conference (ICOMSSC)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127083989","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the direct target tracking (DTT) algorithm for the target which moves at constant speed and in a straight line is proposed. Compared with conventional algorithms, this method does not need measure information, directly estimating the target’s moving state from the received signals. Also, the cost function is simplified. Although this new cost function reduces the estimation accuracy, it has a positive impact on computational load.","PeriodicalId":332213,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Computers, Signals and Systems Conference (ICOMSSC)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116473617","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But, basic emotions theory is limited to express subtle and disparate emotion. So this paper uses the arousal-valence continuous emotion space model, which can enrich emotion expression. The arousal reflects emotional intensity, and the valence indicates positive and negative emotion. The arousal and valence all have the value in the same range, which is between -1 and 1. In the experiments, it uses convolutional neural network (CNN) in the pre-trained models and support vector regression(SVR). In this model, CNN works as a trained feature extractor and SVR is adopted to train and predict the values of the arousal and valence. Through the predicted values it can be predicted the facial emotion. The contrast experimental results show that the proposed method can get better recognition result than the traditional methods.","PeriodicalId":332213,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Computers, Signals and Systems Conference (ICOMSSC)","volume":"6 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114012756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The maintenance costs of gearboxes are the highest in all wind turbines. This thesis is motivated by the increasing demand for new repair methodologies in wind turbine gearboxes and the need for the monitoring of these expensive equipment. The aim is to distinguish the damaged state data from the undamaged state data. There are several steps to monitor the condition of the gearboxes, including operational evaluation, data acquisition, feature extraction and feature discrimination. The operational evaluation is to justify the performance of condition monitoring and define the damage. The data acquisition is to select the excitation methods, the sensor types, number and locations, and the hardware of acquisition. In this paper, the Welch’s method and the principal component analysis (PCA) method are adopted to extract the features. The outliner analysis, multi-layer perceptron (MLP) and radial basis function (RBF) are applied to discriminate the data respectively to compare with their advantages and disadvantages to others. The results show that the data are successfully processed to extract the features and classify whether the data are damaged or not by these methods. However, each method has its own drawbacks.","PeriodicalId":332213,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Computers, Signals and Systems Conference (ICOMSSC)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128512511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the demand relation between users and the traffic in the multicast broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN), a system model of the user terminal energy consumption is established. By using the idea of centralized burst transmission, it realizes the integrated scheduling of the traffic set to save the power of the user terminal. The simulation results show that the proposed power-saving scheduling greatly reduces the user terminal energy consumption, ensuring the traffic delay performance.","PeriodicalId":332213,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Computers, Signals and Systems Conference (ICOMSSC)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128572199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
