It is noted that the language, as part of national culture, needs to be protected, since the death of a language is not just the disappearance of a dialect, it entails the extinction of an entire culture. At present, it is necessary to talk about an ecological crisis and an ecological catastrophe in the language sphere. The ecological catastrophe in the sphere of language is the result of such processes as globalization, the unification of cultures with the slogan of “post-modern”, the destruction of nation states and ethnic diversity, the Americanization of the patterns of “mass-culture” which finally leads to the unification of languages. The terminological field “surgical instruments” of the German language is regarded in the article in linguo-ecological aspect. The author writes that the use of borrowings is the factor that has a negative impact on the development of the national language. It is revealed that the main feature of the studied terminological field is the desire to use national terms, which are semantic borrowings. The literary space, represented by proxems, is divided into a personalised literary space and a non-personalised literary space. The article justifies the author’s typology of proxemes, consisting of four types of proxem units: 1) words and constructions, the semantics of which marks the literary space, 2) verbs of movement, 3) place names, 4) landscape units. The correlation of the static and dynamic of the literary space and the text proxemes’ types is described as follows: 1) two types belong to static proxemes: (a) words and constructions, the semantics of which marks the literary space, (b) place names; dynamic proxemes include one type of proxemes - verbs of movement. Landscape units are a staticdynamic type of proxemes. It is established that the identified types of proxemes in the translation’s informative sphere of J. Verne’s novel “L’île mystériouse” from French to English “The mysterious island” are transmitted mainly symmetrically. It leads to the English reconstruction of literary space model of J. The linguistic materials collected during the research indicate the ability of the verb to terminate concepts. Verb-terms, in contrast to noun-terms, nominate specific processes, phenomena. Verb terms are included in word-formation nests along with noun terms. Verb terms fall into two groups: 1) branch verbs and 2) common verbs. The first group unites verbs characteristic of the medical field of knowledge, the second group includes verbs, the terminological nature of which is manifested in the composition of a phrase with a dependent noun-term. In such verb-nominal phrases, the verb either expands the meaning, or concretizes the existing one. Verb terms are used mainly in those branches of medicine that are associated with a specif- ic action (for example, surgery). Verb terms have the same grammatical categories as verbs of the general literary language. The article elicits that the semiotic space of the educational institutions under analysis is rich in all kinds of signs which reflect the institutional nature of the educational institutions emphasizing the participants’ of the pedagogical discourse social statuses. The linguistic analysis is applied to non-verbal signs (paralinguistic signs, iconic signs, symbolic signs, coloronyms, symbolic artifacts) as well as to mixed ones. A mixed sign is a combination of verbal and non-verbal components (coat of arms, anthem, ritual). This content belongs to the dialogic discourse as a whole, since the pragmatic condition for its existence is the use of an utterance in the context of a spontaneous dialogue.
