Torres Educational Unit, Sagrario Parish, Cuenca, 2015. Materials and Methods: This study is descriptive, observational, cross-sectional. The universe was 115 schoolchildren, of which a sample of 90 participants with an average age of 11.24 + 0.42 (DT) was taken, 100% were female, the data were collected through an interview, using the OIDP instrument Spanish version. Results. 100% of the girls showed one or more of an impacted performance. The oral problem that most affects is bad breath followed by sensitive teeth and decayed teeth, which have been annoying at the time of eating or cleaning the mouth. 73.3% of schoolchildren have 1 to 4 seals. 36.7% of girls are free of tooth decay. One of the 90 participants has lost a permanent dental piece. The difference of girls who had or did not decay only varies at the time of rest and in school work. Conclusions: The prevalence of the impact of oral conditions on the HRQL of schoolchildren was very high (100%), which means that all schoolchildren showed at least an impacted performance, the highest being: eating and smiling.","PeriodicalId":33162,"journal":{"name":"Kiru","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-04-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41590169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this study, was to evaluate the influence of the cementing agent and artificial aging on the veneer´s color. Material and Methods: For this, 30 human premolars were carved to receive veneers made with 0.5mm thick porcelain of the same color. The tooth-veneer sets were randomly separated into three groups (n = 10). A first color measurement was performed on each tooth using the Vita Easyshade colorimeter. The cementing process was carried out according to the group, with RelyX ultimate cement, RelyX Veneer and Tetric-N-Flow fluid resin; performing the color measurement. After heat aging treatment, the sets were subjected to a new color evaluation. Results: The data obtained from the measurements, were analyzed by ANOVA with Games - Howell (software SPSS 21), finding less variation between the periods evaluated with the use of RelyX ultimate cement (p = 0.384). Conclusions: Artificial aging caused a color change in all materials evaluated. RelyX Veneer cement and Tetric-N-Flow fluid resin showed greater instability with clinically acceptable color ranges.","PeriodicalId":33162,"journal":{"name":"Kiru","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48399474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aimed to project the data from Moyers tables through linear regression equations and present a new instrument that facilitates the analysis of Moyers in mixed dentition. methods. The classical tables of Moyers were used through four linear equations projected data for both values, men and women, the roulette was built from a new table with values projected from the 19 mm to 30,5 mm corresponding to the sum of the lower incisors. Linear regression and linear equations were used to project values for both, maxilla and mandible. Roulette model was devised following the Korkhaus Orthometer model and emulating the classic medical gestation tables. Results. Two tables were obtained with new data values from 19 mm to 30,5 mm measurement, measures which correspond to the sum of the mesiodistal width of the lower incisors. The new values include projections for both, the maxilla and the mandible. Conclusion. The “roulette” is an instrument that permits find Moyers values for arch discrepancy measure in mixed dentition whith more precision and facility.","PeriodicalId":33162,"journal":{"name":"Kiru","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-01-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46805915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
