Employing molecular dynamics simulation, this study has succeeded to investigate the effect of holding time on the weld joint. The different levels of holding time have shown effect on the structural configuration and the tensile behavior. As the holding time is longer, the interfacial region become thicker. However, the thickness of interfacial region is not always determining the quality of weld joints, which confirmed by the lower tensile strength if the holding time is too long, since it produces more defects and deformation, instead of better joint. Holding time of 250 ps has shown a decrease in the weld joints quality, while optimum tensile strength is achieved with 200 ps. However, if the holding time is too short, deformation during tensile test become more randomly occurs. However, learning can be problematic subjected to several variables such as the large size of the classes, students’ participation, limited teaching time, and lecturers’ attitude. Edmodo is a part of an online application that enables teacher to share content, distribute quizzes, assignments, and manages communication with students, colleagues and parents with combination of face to face and e-learning, known as blended learning. Therefore, in order to fulfil the needs in current demand, the usage of Edmodo technology in education fields has been applied widely at all levels of education. Hence, this study was to identify students’ literacy, readiness and awareness in using Edmodo for learning. A total of 156 undergraduate students have been selected as respondents in this study. Data were analysed using mean, standard deviation, and percentage. The results of this study showed that their level of literacy, readiness and awareness in using Edmodo for learning were at high level. Positive result of this study suggests that Edmodo can be utilized to achieve learning outcomes for this course, especially in higher education level. Nowadays, everyone has a smartphone which plays a major role in their life by providing many functions and applications that eventually help us throughout the day and make our life easier and more organized. The disabled Helper is an android application developed to enable the disabled people to get paralympic sports information and educating them about the different types of organizations meant for disabled people with all other specific information regarding the location and disabled aid sign, in addition, this application helps the people in need to search clinics and hospitals by their name and distance using internet, GPS service and Google Maps and to then be added to preferable list for future used. Besides, this application provide a list of reasonable exercises to be carry out by disabled people to stay healthy and more over it has a medical reminder to remind them about their medical appointments and medicines. Netizens through on-line communication start, maintain and enhance social relationship when sharing information. The practice of having a relationship that benefits one another is called on-line Guanxi. Guanxi is actually a Chinese business concept that is related to networking that benefits business transactions. This study investigates, one of the features that enhance on-line Guanxi which is social presence. This study investigates social presence as one of the features in on-line interaction that enhances on-line Guanxi. This study verifies how members of web-forum communities maintain or enhance their relationship with others or choose to neglect or damage it. Text messages from online discussions are coded and tagged according to the language functions they seem to perform as prescribed by Speech Acts Theory and Herring’s Computer-Mediated Discourse Analysis (CMDA) framework. This study found that social presence encouraged forum members to indulge in return–action to share information, where an initial information seeking act necessitated responding messages. Social presence encouraged forum members to feel the presence of others users when they echo a fellow member, code switch and code mix, joke or answer questions. These strategies aided forum members to engage socially by recognizing the presence of others and their need for new information. This study was able to show that the feature of social presence in web-forum interaction was essential for on-line Guanxi. However, the usage of the pneumatic system in industries was limited to only certain applications since it always has problems associated with its accuracy. Due to nonlinearities and uncertainties in the system itself, accurate positioning control for the pneumatic system is very difficult to achieve. Thus, a suitable controller must be designed to deal with these issues. This paper proposes designing a reduced order observer for predictive functional control (PFC) as a new method for controlling the pneumatic positioning system. In this study, the pneumatic system was represented by a third-order auto-regressive with exogenous input (ARX) model structure, which is based on a system identification technique. The simulation results obtained from MATLAB/Simulink proved that this new control method can be used to control the pneumatic positioning system used in this study. By analyzing spectral information extract from statistical reflectance value, the potential spectral band that can be used to discriminate spectrally similar features can be determined. The output of this study is crucial as an information provider for further classification processing step via object-based image analysis approached. Such impact can be chiefly attributed to the status and nature of the firms operations. This impact may differ from country to country depending on a number of factors. In this paper we bring to light the limited literature on high-tech immigrant entrepreneurship and discuss three broad types of impact: 1) creating competitive and innovative businesses, 2) creating job opportunities, and 3) transnationalism. The fabricated water level system consists of two water tanks and one supply tank with similar dimensions. In the lab-bench, one variable speed drive (VSD), one 3-phase 0.75kW motor, two linear variable displacement transducer (LVDT), one paddle wheel i.e. a water flow sensor as well as CX-Programmer and CX-Designer are incorporated into the design. The first phase of the project is to monitor and manually control the work bench utilizing CX-Programmer (PLC) and VSD. PLC Omron is used to control the system, meanwhile CX-Designer is used to provide a human machine interface (HMI) for the lab-bench. The first phase of the water level system is completed successfully with the proposed workbench successfully monitored and the motor speed is varied manually via VSD. Initial analysis of the sensors utilized are presented for future references for the next phase of the project.
