{"title":"Mongolia and Сanada relationship :","authors":"Ulambayar Denzenlkham","doi":"10.5564/jis.v2i111.1444","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5564/jis.v2i111.1444","url":null,"abstract":"  \u0000This article discusses the relationship between Mongolia and Canada Mongolia’s “third neighbor”, key partner, and member of G7, G20, NATO, APEC. Canada recognized Mongolia in 1964 de facto and two parties established diplomatic relations on November 30, 1973 de jure. Canada has been one of the strong supporters of the democratic processes and market economic changes that began in Mongolia in the early 1990’s. Mongolia opened its Embassy to Canada in Ottawa in December 2001, and the Embassy of Canada to Mongolia was opened in Ulaanbaatar in September 2008. The two countries are in close cooperation in political, trade and economic, developmental, education and defense spheres and particularly in mining sector. Legal framework of Mongolia and Canada Expanded Partnership was established in October 2004. Right Honorable Mr. David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, paid a state visit to Mongolia on October 2013, which was of a significant importance. During the visit of Geoff Regan, Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada in September 2016 in Mongolia it was agreed to step up level of bilateral relations into extended partnership towards comprehensive partnership. \u0000Монгол-Канадын харилцаа, хамтын ажиллагаа: Өргөн хүрээтэй түншлэлээс иж бүрэн түншлэлийн зүгт \u0000Хураангуй: Энэхүү өгүүлэлд Монгол Улсын “гуравдагч хөрш”, чухаг түнш, Долоогийн бүлэг, 20-ийн бүлэг, НАТО болон АПЕК-ийн гишүүн Канад ба Монгол Улсын харилцаа, хамтын ажиллагааны тухай өгүүлнэ. Монгол, Канад нь 1973 оны 11 дүгээр сарын 30-нд дипломат харилцаа тогтоосон бөгөөд, Монгол Улс 2001 оны 12 дугаар сард Оттава хотноо, Канад улс 2008 онд Улаанбаатар хотноо ЭСЯ-аа харилцан нээсэн билээ. Канад нь 1990-ээд оны эхнээс Монгол Улсад өрнөсөн ардчилсан үйл явц, зах зээлийн эдийн засгийн өөрчлөлтийг идэвхтэй дэмжиж ирсэн юм. Following this, Gülen`s supporters in Turkey have been arrested, fired from their state jobs. The Turkish government has also classified Gülen’s organization as a terrorist group. This article attempts to explore the origins of the Turkish schools supported by the Gulenist movement that was established in early 1970s in Turkey, its expansion in the country and other countries, in central Asian republics and Mongolia. In this research, the authors have used descriptive and analytical methods in addition to their ongoing fieldwork in several Sub-Saharan African countries and China. After presenting China’s UN-policy, drawn upon relevant literature, the authors test a wide range of the UN resolutions and other data, comparing their case study about MINURSO to other UN Peace Operations. Though MINURSO in Western Sahara was not their top priority, China also participated in this mission, to gain valuable experiences for future cooperation. Survival and success of this sector significantly depend on customer loyalty which has mostly been built on the recognition of banks' social responsibility and their provision of inclusive services, generally known as financial inclusion. The recognition of social responsibility from the banking sector and its strategy on financial inclusion has largely been ignored in current literature, in particular for Vietnam. This study has been conducted to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR), financial inclusion inter alia, on customer loyalty in the banking sector in Vietnam. The pyramid model is utilized in this paper, including various CSR factors/attributes such as philanthropic responsibility, ethical responsibility, legal responsibility, economic responsibility, customers-centric strategy and bank reputation. The structural equation modelling is utilized. The findings from this paper indicate that philanthropic responsibility of the banking sector has the most substantial impact on customer loyalty, followed by customer-centric strategy. Improving the aspects of CSR programs, in particular customer-centric strategy, will lead to improved extent of financial inclusion which currently attracts attention of Vietnamese government and practitioners. {"title":"Game of tariffs: The impact of market concentration on international trade","authors":"S. Kalinowski","doi":"10.14254/2071-8330.2020/13-4/17","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14254/2071-8330.2020/13-4/17","url":null,"abstract":"The article investigates the impact of the concentration, measured by the number of firms in the exporting industry, on the tariffs and welfare generated by international exchange. The research was conducted in two dimensions. First, the model of bilateral trade exchange between two economies was tested in terms of a non-cooperative game. Nash equilibria point to the tariff rates which negatively depend on the number of firms in the exporting industry. The welfare grows with increasing competition, but its marginal value diminishes. The second perspective was the application of the Kalai–Smorodinsky bargaining solution in order to indicate the outcome of a cooperative version of the game. The cooperative solution was always a zero tariff option for symmetric market structures. If there is a more competitive exporting industry in one country, it should negotiate a tariff higher than zero, whilst a country with less competitive exporters should agree upon a zero tariff. The sample under study includes 102 countries around the world, which are closely monitored by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and have different levels of sociopolitical and economic development. The scientific and methodological approach to assess the financial monitoring risk in terms of the use of financial institutions for money laundering is based on the methods of multidimensional static analysis, descriptive, cluster and dispersive data analysis, gravity theory, nonlinear econometric modeling, differential and bifurcation analysis of dynamic nonlinear systems.
