The aim is to estimate the object parameters with an assumption that they are changing linearly: ai=ai,0+ai,1t (i=1,2,...,n), bj=bj,0+bj,1t (j=1,2,...,m), δ=δ0+δ1t, parameters ai,0, ai,1 (i=1,2,...,n), bj,0, bj,1 (j=1,2,...,m), δ0, δ1 are assumed to be constants (almost constants during long time). For this object, the recursive least square (RLS) method is generalized. Provided examples show that the obtained RLS generalization gives higher precision (in comparison with the classical RLS method) for a case when parameters change with constant (almost constant) speed during long time. When parameters change unpredictably, the precision of the proposed RLS generalization is worse then the precision of the classical method, but it is still high.","PeriodicalId":330635,"journal":{"name":"System research and information technologies","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114724947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For a numerical analysis of this problem, it is proposed to use the method of two-sided approximations based on the method of Green’s functions. After replacing the unknown function, the boundary value problem is reduced to the Hammerstein integral equation, which is considered as a nonlinear operator equation in a semi-ordered Banach space. The conditions for the existence of a single positive solution of the problem and the conditions for two-sided convergence of successive approximations to it are obtained. The developed method is programmatically implemented and researched in solving test problems. The results of the computational experiment are illustrated by graphical and tabular information. The conducted experiments confirmed the efficiency and effectiveness of the developed method that allowed recommending its practical use for solving problems of system analysis and mathematical modeling of nonlinear processes.","PeriodicalId":330635,"journal":{"name":"System research and information technologies","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125706472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The peculiarity of the problem solved in this work is the presence in the channel of two-phase flows of a solid-liquid mixture under the influence of heating the outer surface of the cylinder and dissipative forces arising from friction of the mixture against the walls of this channel. The problems of heating the mixture, melting the polymer and determining the velocity of the phase transition boundary in the conditions of a mobile solid mixture due to the rotational motion of the mechanism that feeds the mixture into a cylindrical channel are considered. Mathematical models of certain processes are systems of differential equations with partial derivatives of mathematical physics; the corresponding boundary value problems are solved using numerical-analytical methods, which made it possible to obtain solutions in quadratures. The results of computer modeling of the developed algorithms are given.","PeriodicalId":330635,"journal":{"name":"System research and information technologies","volume":"202 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131958343","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using this model, two-stage modified morphological analysis was conducted for two types of objects: pipe and tunnel depressed sewers. The results of comparison for depressed sewer crossings using the developed model are demonstrated both for the whole multitude of potential undesirable events and for the specific scenarios of sabotage, landslide, operational damage. The advantage of a tunneled depressed sewer over a pipe one is justified from the standpoint of minimization of technogenic and ecological risks of sewage draining.","PeriodicalId":330635,"journal":{"name":"System research and information technologies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131800244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method is based on the Trotter–Daletsky formula, generalized for a nonlinear perturbation of an elliptic operator. The idea of generalization is the construction of a composition of the semigroup generated by the Laplacian and the phase flow corresponding to a system of ordinary differential equations. A computational experiment performed for a two-dimensional system of semilinear parabolic equations of the “reaction–diffusion” type confirms estimates for the convergence of iterations established in the proof of this formula. Obtained results suggest the feasibility of an unconventional approach to modeling dynamic systems with distributed parameters.","PeriodicalId":330635,"journal":{"name":"System research and information technologies","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123566883","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The ethnocultural civilizational distribution of the countries is specified on the basis of the fuzzy cluster method. The mathematical model of fault lines between civilizations is elaborated, which affords the opportunity to estimate and analyze the quantitative values of these faults. Formally, the developed model offers the way to determine evolutionary regularities, systematize and econometrically verify the defining characteristics of actual civilizational clashes. The results of an analysis and comparison of modeling data of intercivilizational faults in 2008 and 2018 revealed the tendencies of individual civilizations to unite and clash, and the effect of these faults on the global conflict as well. The dependence of global threats on the proliferation of weapons and their individual components is assessed. The conflict effect on the socio-economic indicators of clashing civilizations is determined. The correspondence of the modeling outcomes to the real state of intercivilizational faults is verified by comparison with actual historical data. The results of the study encourage to form a comprehensive vision of the nature of modern clashes, whose emergence is caused by the faults between civilizations, and to determine their formal characteristics and regularities of their course.","PeriodicalId":330635,"journal":{"name":"System research and information technologies","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126159271","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, the classical methods of biometrics and methods based on matrix multiple regression are used. In order to solve the problem of estimation by the method of least squares for multiple matrix regression, a mathematical apparatus for the singular value decomposition (SVD) and pseudo-inversion technique for Moore–Penrose was used within the development of the concept of tuple operators. The empirical data for calculations were data from an experiment conducted at the Educational and Scientific Center “Institute of Biology and Medicine” (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv). The calculations were made in Microsoft Office Excel and Wolfram Mathematica. The algorithm based on matrix multiple regression has the prediction accuracy in terms of the APE (absolute percentage error) criterion (the error is from 0% to 10%) higher than the accuracy of modern methods of biometrics (some errors are greater than 30%). As shown in the examples, matrix multiple regression can be an effective prediction instrument in biology with an acceptable planning processes accuracy.","PeriodicalId":330635,"journal":{"name":"System research and information technologies","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116967437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
