Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan Abstract This study aims to describe the politeness of language in the novel \"When the Light of the Moon Kisses the Ocean\" by Anisha Dayu on the Wattpad application. This study examines violations and adherence to language politeness, and the factors that cause violations and compliance with language politeness in the novel \"When Cahaya Rembulan Kisses Lautan\" by Anisha Dayu on the wattpad application. Politeness theory in this study uses ten politeness thimbles, six politeness thimbles plus the latest four thimbles of Leech's theory of politeness. This research uses a theoretical approach and a methodological approach. The theoretical approach in this research is a pragmatic approach. the methodological approach is a descriptive-qualitative approach. The object of this research is the speech in the novel \"When the Light of the Moon Kisses the Ocean\" by Anisha Dayu which is alleged to contain obedience and violation of the principles of politeness in language. The data of this research are in the form of speech fragments in the novel. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are utterances containing the meaning of carrying activities which are spoken directly by native Javanese speakers who are carrying out Hindu religious rituals in Wonokerso Village. Data collection techniques using face-to-face techniques. The field of meaning of carrying activities in this study consists of carrying using tools, without tools, and can also include both. All lexemes obtained will be elaborated and described by the researcher in this article. Identification of the collaborative illocutionary function is also needed to determine the extent to which Botchan interacts with the speech partner while maintaining polite and respectful behavior in his speech or not. The main theory used is the theory of Yule (1996) about assertive speech acts, Nitta Yoshio (2009) about teido no fukushi: konnani, sonnani, and annani, Leech (1983) about the collaborative illocutionary function. This research method is a qualitative research method. The data of this research are in the form of assertive speech act sentences with adverbs konnani, sonnani, and annani markers which contain assertive verbs and modalities. The second data is in the form of sentences outside the assertive speech act as a context and which the three adverbs refer to. The results of this study, namely, the variety of assertive speech acts that appear include confirming allegations, confirming facts, inferring problem reduction, affirming statements and strengthening past memories of Botchan's character. Pemberitaan ini mendapatkan perhatian cukup besar karena penganiayaan terjadi saat perawat sedang menjalankan tugasnya. Hal ini dianggap salah satu ancaman baru bagi keamanan dan sistem pelayanan kesehatan yang sedang fokus penanganan pandemi Covid-19. Studi ini menyelidiki bagaimana pemberitaan tindak kekerasan perawat Christina Ramauli Simatupang pada pemberitaan media nasional, khususnya tiga media nasional terpilih yaitu, Media CNNIndonesia, TribunNews.com dan Kompas.com. Tujuan dari studi ini untuk mendeskripsikan representasi tindak kekerasan perawat Christina Ramauli Simatupang dalam anak kalimat, kombinasi anak kalimat dan  rangkaian antar kalimat dalam pemberitaan nasional. Studi ini menggunakan metode pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teori Norman Fairclough. Sumber data dalam studi ini bersumber dari teks berita daring tentang “Tindak kekerasan perawat”.  Beberapa artikel berita yang berkaitan dengan korban dari media CNNIndonesia, TribunNews.com dan Kompas.com dianalisis berdasarkan anak kalimat, kombinasi anak kalimat dan  rangkaian antar kalimat. Hasil temuan menunjukkan terdapat tiga jenis representasi perspektif Norman Fairclough yang telah dideskripsikan dalam pemberitaan tindak kekerasan perawat dalam teks berita daring di media nasional, dari tiga jenis representasi tersebut, jenis representasi dalam anak kalimat yang lebih dominan dengan bentuk representasi perbandingan yang sama antara jenis representasi dalam anak kalimat, ditemukan juga bentuk representasi dalam kombinasi anak kalimat dan representasi dalam rangkaian antar kalimat berdasarkan bentuk mendukung atau suportif terhadap pemberitaan tindak kekerasan perawat Christina Ramauli. Abstract Kata kunci: Production-Oriented Approach This study aims to describe listening skills based on the Production-Oriented Approach (POA). The method used in this research is a qualitative research method which is a literature review. The data from this study are listening skills using the POA approach. The results showed that POA on students' learning and language use. The input process (listening) and the output activity (speaking) must be combined, and provide mutual motivation, which can help to overcome some of the weaknesses in listening learning. POA has a very effective role to help focus on listening material, teachers can encourage students to focus and concentrate. The research method used in this study is the content analysis method, this method is used to reveal further and in-depth information from a text, symbol, image and so on. The data in this study are in the form of utterances from the short film Tilik, uploaded by the YouTube channel Ravacana Films. The data analysis stage used the Determining Element Sorting (PUP) technique. The stage of presenting the results of data analysis used informal methods. Based on the research results, there were 5 types of speech acts, namely (1) assertive illocutionary acts which included stating, informing, suspecting, affirming, affirming; (2) directive illocutionary acts include asking, ordering, prohibiting, advising, recommending, urging, suggesting; (3) acts of commissive illocution include offering, saying prayers; (4) expressive illocutionary acts include saying thanks, apologizing, blaming; and (5) declarative illocutionary act, namely giving names.
