In the implemented architecture data may be sent directly between host and stores, passing all commands through the controller retains simplicity, relieving the controller communication bottleneck. A prototype IP-SAN using Ethernet and Linux OS with the system implemented in the iSCSI transport layer protocol and in the controller's SCSI application layer, has been constructed. The theoretical analyses indicated that the factors affecting the iSCSI-based storage system including network performance, CRC computation in iSCSI protocol and the performance of the server. The performance test proves that the analysis is right.","PeriodicalId":326534,"journal":{"name":"2008 ISECS International Colloquium on Computing, Communication, Control, and Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129177813","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the reduction method, Lyapunov stability theory and LMI approach, a state feedback controller, a switching strategy and the stabilization conditions of the system are proposed. Finally it establishes the theoretical model of the alliance capability and proposes corresponding hypotheses. To prove the reasonability of such theoretical model, the paper puts forward a structural equation model (SEM), which is tested by a large sample including 147 Chinese high-technology firms. Most of the attention, however, has been given to the routing protocols. The paper presents a new clustering scheme named HCMC based on improved Monte-Carlo localization algorithm MCBR. We also exploit multi-hop scheme between clusters to increase the energy efficiency of the protocol. The results show that our approach distributes the energy dissipation more evenly than other clustering schemes, reduces overall energy consumption and improves network lifetime.","PeriodicalId":326534,"journal":{"name":"2008 ISECS International Colloquium on Computing, Communication, Control, and Management","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121535625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a component reuse mechanism, and defines a matrix technique to inspect the conflict of component composition. By comparing the difference of CPL and Java grammar, this paper brings forward a translation mechanism, via which we can translate CPL to equal functional Java code in the framework of XML language. This mechanism adopts the idea of EJB container, and constructs the whole services after the form of class object, and describes the CPL componenst as JavaBeans. By this way, the Java code translated has character of easily readable, highly reusable and extendable. This mechanism is applied in our service creation system, and achieves good results.","PeriodicalId":326534,"journal":{"name":"2008 ISECS International Colloquium on Computing, Communication, Control, and Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123133861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a distributed power quality monitoring system that is based on ARM9 and SOPC. ARM9 with the embedded operating system Linux deals with data display and storage. SOPC designed as terminals do data sampling and processing. With the use of Qt/Embedded, the system has a friendly man-machine interface. This system can monitor a number of power-quality indices on every load connected to the same point of common coupling and transmit the measured values to a master device. The master device processes the values to locate the sources of unbalance and harmonic distortion and to quantify the effects of such disturbances on power quality.","PeriodicalId":326534,"journal":{"name":"2008 ISECS International Colloquium on Computing, Communication, Control, and Management","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116708480","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The weighted coefficient value to each input sample is confirmed according to its distance to the center of the smallest enclosing hypersphere in the feature space. The proposed model is applied to weighted support vector regression (WSVR) for 1-dimensional data set simulation. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method actually reduces the error of regression and yields higher accuracy than support vector regression (SVR) does.","PeriodicalId":326534,"journal":{"name":"2008 ISECS International Colloquium on Computing, Communication, Control, and Management","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-08-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125098825","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
