Se evaluó la relación de la polilla guatemalteca y el tizón tardío en campo. Se estableció un cultivo de papa cultivar Diacol Capiro en Mosquera, Cundinamarca (Colombia), y se registraron semanalmente datos de captura de adultos de T. solanivora (trampas cebadas) y la severidad del daño de P. infestans junto con la fenología de la planta y datos de precipitación (mm), H.R. (%), temperatura (°C), velocidad del viento (km.h-1) y brillo solar (h). Se encontró una correlación positiva significativa (p<0,05) de Pearson entre T. solanivora y la fenología del cultivo, la temperatura máxima y la H.R., para P. infestans con la precipitación y la H.R., y de la fenología del cultivo con la temperatura máxima. Correlaciones negativas con significancia (p<0,05) entre la severidad de P. infestans con el viento, el brillo solar, la temperatura máxima y la fenología del cultivo, y con la precipitación. Se encontró relación entre T. solanivora, la fenología del cultivo y la temperatura máxima, entre P. infestans y la precipitación, la H.R. y la temperatura mínima y entre la velocidad del viento y el brillo solar. Existe relación entre T. solanivora con la floración y formación de bayas, la temperatura máxima con la formación de tallos secundarios y la temperatura mínima con la senescencia. With this growing number of publication options, researchers have several possibilities for publication and will vary their selection criteria according to particular interests, notably, journals’ indexation level. However, in cases where several journals have similar indexing levels, authors consider other factors, such as costs and speed of publication. Well-indexed open-access journals, often free for authors, abounds in Latin America. The specimen spent the last three as an adult. Both records are outside the average range of lifespan expected for an adult male. The specimen was kept under natural conditions in a Mediterranean climate, without photoperiod or temperature control. Diet was composed of Tenebrio molitor larvae and Gryllus sp./Acheta sp. nymphs and adults. The feeding regime was 1-2 prey per week in the early stages and later 1 prey every 20 days since the individual exceeded 15 mm body length approximately, to his death. The specimen spent most of its adult life without eating, actively refusing prey. The maximum time without eating was 22 months. At the time of death, the specimen measured 35 mm in body length and 130 with leg expanded. Previous research reported lower life expectancies in male tarantulas. A few were merely photographed in the same areas in 2022. One hundred and one asilid-butterfly pairs were collected representing 17 species of robber flies and 19 species of butterflies. Three pairs were photographed representing one robber fly species with two species of butterflies. The prey taxa consisted of five species of Hesperiidae, three species of Pieridae, four species of Lycaenidae, and four species of Nymphalidae. Efferia helenae (Bromley, 1951) was the most frequently collected asilid predator of butterflies, 33 individuals preying on 10 butterfly species followed by Proctacanthus micans Schiner, 1867, 15 individuals preying on seven butterfly species. Nathalis iole Boisduval, 1836 (Pieridae) was the most commonly collected butterfly prey with 21 specimens.
