One of the severe repercussions induced by stroke is hemi paresis. It causes weakness or loss of function on one side of the body. It can be challenging to live with such a disability as it hinders normal day-to-day activities. It takes a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychiatrists, and caretakers to treat patients suffering from this disorder. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to constantly monitor and treat the patients to improve their chances of recovery. This process can be complicated due to patient safety concerns during a pandemic such as covid 19. It increases the risk as it increases the possibility of another stroke attack. It also decreases the treatment’s effectiveness as physical contact between doctor and patients has been reduced to ensure safety from covid 19. In our work, we developed a remote IoT-based stroke monitoring system that measures the patient’s movement. This data is then sent to the cloud servers, where the concerned medical professionals can remotely access them to analyze and monitor the patient’s progress.","PeriodicalId":324627,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130151357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A successful framework will enhance better leaving of the individuals and allows individual to consume the food in a well optimized manner. A real-time framework is developed to monitor eating pattern of the individuals during their food intake. Food recognition and tracking is implemented using machine learning based on the support vector machines (SVM). When the food consumption among the people increases, the problem related to the food also increases. Hence in this paper we introduce a food recognition system in which calories are measured along with the food detection. We create a dataset for both the food images and calories present in that food. Food and calories detected are sent through the mail for the user.","PeriodicalId":324627,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130177451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In autonomous systems still there are shortcomings in sensing and perception of the environment around the robot. An approach to improve these systems is by integration of multiple sensors data to improve perception of environment. The Lidar is widely used for the mapping of an indoor environment where it performs mapping by sensing the objects which are above axis of lidar and leaves the objects which are below the axis of the lidar. Since the LIDAR detect obstacles at a certain height, it has shortcomings in detection of non-uniform obstacles like tables or chairs, and negative obstacles which are below scanning line of lidar. In order to improve perception, arbec astra (kinect) camera is used to map the unknown indoor robotic workspace environment which can detect obstacles above and below the floor level, also able to detect obstacles at various heights that RPLidar cannot. This paper presents the implementation of 3D mapping of an unknown environment using fusion of orbbec astra camera and Lidar data. The Experimental result shows that the map using the fused sensor data shows better and clear images of the map, which in turn helps for improved navigation without any collision even with a multiple smaller objects in the path of the robot. The maps of the indoor robotic environment mapped by using RP-Lidar sensor and Orbbec astra-pro camera is presented which clearly indicate boundary detection is good in lidar and it failed to show intermediate smaller objects within the boundary, where as orbbec astra camera is providing more inner details compared to the above case. Therefore it is suggested to use fusion of data from both the sensors.","PeriodicalId":324627,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127184863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It leads to the noise and vibration that limits the adoption of SRM in industrial and automotive applications. Numerous control strategies found in literature to cut down the torque ripple of SRM. This research focuses on an extensive survey on direct and indirect torque control algorithms. Direct torque control algorithms consists of direct instantaneous torque control (DITC) which is implemented with hysteresis and PWM based controller. While, indirect torque control is implemented by instantaneous torque control (ITC) and average torque control (ATC). It is observed from the survey that, in hysteresis based DITC, hysteresis band is designed to limit torque ripple which increases the switching losses due to high switching frequencies whereas, PWM based algorithms have constant switching frequencies but limited to low speed operating range. It also observed from study that, ITC is suitable for lower operating speed if back-EMF is less than dc link voltage and ATC is appropriate for complete operating speed range. Finally, critical comparison in terms of operating range, switching frequency, torque per ampere ratio and current control of these algorithms are presented. Outcome of this study helps the researcher in making the judicious choice for selection of appropriate algorithm for mitigation of torque ripple of SRM employed in various applications.","PeriodicalId":324627,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117184659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper deals with trajectory tracking control of a two-link manipulator using three different tracking controllers namely, Proportional Integral Derivative (PID), Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), and Back-stepping controller in a noisy environment. Here, the PID controller is designed using the singular perturbation technique, it helps in dealing with external noise. However, its performance is not good with variable noise. Thus, the ANFIS controller is developed in which the rules are based on data collected from previously designed PID controller. Lastly, the back-stepping controller based on the virtual control signal using Lyapunov for zero error tracking is developed. The three controllers for the manipulator have been tested with the introduction of variable random noise and a fixed noise quantity. Performance analysis of these controllers is based on ISE (Integral Square Error), IAE (Integral Absolute Error), ITSE (Integral Time Squared Error), and ITAE (Integral Time Absolute Error). The simulation results illustrate the accuracy of the ANFIS controller which has better tracking in comparison to the other two control schemes with comparable torque inputs.","PeriodicalId":324627,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115765325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The appropriate language speech audio can be extracted from a mixed one using a separation mechanism. This paper proposes a DNN model to perform such a language separation task. Different features like Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficient (MFCC), Power Spectrum, and Relative Spectral Transformed Perceptual Linear Prediction coefficient (RASTA-PLP) are extracted from the mixed language speech as the input to the DNN. For the training target, the Short-Time Fourier Transform (STFT) Spectral Mask is considered. To understand the improvement on the speech, the processed speech is then evaluated for its intelligibility and quality. Here Short-time Objective Intelligibility (STOI) and Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (PESQ) scores are used to compare the Intelligibility and Quality of the separated language speech signal processed by the DNN. It can be observed from the results that the language separated audio using a trained DNN model has shown improved Intelligibility and Quality.","PeriodicalId":324627,"journal":{"name":"2021 5th International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer Technologies and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130660751","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
